Instructions:
1Boot into Stock recovery (Power On/Vol Down, then press bottom right hand corner of the screen when you see the warning sign) Then perform a data wipe.
2Go into bootloader mode (volume up and power) then Using RSD Lite flash the 2.2 Chinese ROM If you are on a Non Downgradeable rom or already on my previous rom, then skip this and go to step 4.
3Once the phone has rebooted, skip set up, root via superoneclick and then install clockworkmod recovery/apply.
4Boot into Clockworkmod Recovery and wipe data/cache
5Now go to backup/restore and restore the froyo rom of your choice that you have placed in either the SDCRAD:/goapkrev/backup/ folder.(tenfar recovery) or clockworkmod/backup/.
6Once the restore is complete pull the battery, as you are reconnecting the battery hold volume up, so that it goes straight into bootloader.
7Once in bootloader flash the 2.2tmo_boot only .sbf http://www.mediafire.com/?pkjkk75emk6x83f
When done your phone will reboot and can take about a 1min or 2 to boot up.
If you are already running my previous froyo rom or another , there is no need to do all the steps, just restore the rom.

does it have wifi calling? and good job, cant wait to install.

not now, may make an tmobile build later on that will include it to make everyone happy

will u make it compatible with your old themes? (red ginger and such)

all the themes i made previously will should work. Just need to open up the zip and make sure that JUST framework-res.apk and services.jar is there by itself. If any others delete or you will bootloop. Some of the themes i left those file in

Looking nice JBoogie3 - - - I'm gonna creep it a little heh.

nice! will definitely when back in town

nice work , base on JRDNEM_U3_3.4.2_155-002_DEBLUR_SIGN

Awesome job!!!
If you use this, Thank the man!!!

cheers
Boogie is back.

Hi, does it have stock (standart android) dialer inside?

nice work Jboogie.
But it is possible to add AOSP Sliders to unlock ?
if i use the slider for disable sound, it looks not uniform
Greetings

Jboogie,
What launcher are u using in your screenshots?

Hey JBoogie3,
Nice to see you back again!
The new Deblur Honey is really nice, so far so good. One thing i would like to tweak though...
Would it be possible to have the wifi symbol to be the small arcs in the same blue tint instead? There is just so little difference between phone signal and wifi signal.
Many thanks, keep up the great work.
Andy

I would love it if it wouldn't have the Honeycomb Theme inside. Nothing against it, I would even accept it if there wasn't this ****ty icon for WLAN and MOBILE Connection. Both look pretty similar and if there are both on it looks totally confusing.
I think I have to change it and make it custom for myself. If you want to use it in your next Version just take these Icons for WLAN

You can always flash one his other themes, they all work on this build,.

the OP states that there are no background blur services.
i've got motorola storage monitor, my accounts, motorola services and contacts data all running in the background.
is this right? as i thought they are all part of blur.

Besides that... which has to stay due to blur Res.. that is all. Run this rom then look at a blur rom .. lots of blur running.

just installed the theme, worked like a charm. this green is hott. thx
if I install this theme, can go back on the original theme? and how?
Thanks
Yes you can either make a Nandroid backup before you apply it and restore that, or you can just reapply the MoDaCo update.zip and it will change everything back to black.
Do i have to be on Modaco's rom? or just be rooted?
I made it using elements from MoDaCo's ROM, but I guess he made that ROM from the stock one, so I think it will work. Try it out. Just make sure you have a Nandroid backup in case it doesn't work. Let me know how you get on!
Other than the middle top(which i can live with) It looks great!
Ah we don't have those icons on GSM. I'll look into fixing that, good to see it works with stock though

If you need any files from my device just lmk.
i m new at this..what the process of installing this theme on a sprint hero?
Do you have the recovery menu installed? If not install that first.
If you do:
* copy the zip file for this theme to the root of your SD
* boot up the recovery menu
* choose apply sdcard:choose zip
* find the zip file for this theme and select it
* follow on-screen instructions, reboot and you're done!
Always remember to do a Nandroid backup from the recovery menu before you apply anything like this. Just so you can go back to that if anything goes wrong (which is quite unlikely anyway).
Hope that helps!
Any chance you will be doing any other colors? red, blue, or orange would be cool.
Yes I might do some more when I have a little time
Here you go, Pookie. Got a holiday thing going on. Your green goes well with it. No problems loading or booting.
Updated to v2, signal icons are green now too.
There shouldn't be any other icons left now that mess up the status bar, but if I missed any, please let me know.
Thanks again ELIMINATED for testing and screenshots
Thanks lilbanchero for the transparent icons
I really like this theme, great job. I noticed a few widgets that were not updated:
Calendar (both the big and small widget)
People Widgets
Bottom bar of the phone (where you can press the call button and drop/raise the dial pad).
Not sure if you were planning on doing that or not, just wanted to bring it up
I don't use those widgets, that's why they're not green. But as long as I know they are wanted and being used I'm happy to do them too. I'll get on it

Clock and Weather gone
I installed your Smokin Green on my Sprint Hero running Fresh Rom 1.0.
The clock and weather widget dissapeared and their also gone from the list
when I tried to replace them. Any ideas?
I guess the clock is not compatible with Fresh Rom 1.0. Does everything else work?
Is that the most popular ROM for CDMA Heros?

[THEME][2.2] Slimer ~ Cyanogen 6 & FreeX10 ~ Feb 19, 2011

This theme was tested on CM6 and FreeX10 (thanks, bcool15 for testing on FX10!)
This theme's base is desire/cyanogen6
I do not take credit for any of the graphics used in this theme!!! It is a hybrid of Sempiternal's X FX10 theme and this theme created by vukandric. Big thanks to both of them for all the hard work they have put into creating both these themes!!!
Slimer v1.0
*install with Xrecovery
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XG5BCLK6
For anyone who is interested in the CM tweaks file I'm currently using I have included it in the download. This will complete the theme, including battery percentage, etc, just like shown in my screenshots. Extract the rar file directly to your SD card's root folder. The filepath should look like this:
SD card>CMtheme>Slimer.xml
Open android settings and navigate to CM settings>user interface>tweaks extras>select a theme....select Slimer.

You need to use an lcd density changer app. There is a free one on the market. I think 200 is perfect.

The battery meter is supposed to flash when it charges. Without the tweaks applied the percentge won't show. Sorry, I will reupload the theme with the phone app. I forgot to include it with the theme originally.
Dock icons are part of launcher pro, not the theme.
I looked at the theme and the phone apk is included already. However, if for some reason it didn't take, you can install this custom zip with recovery

Why??? Screenshots are fine lol I can see them
I guess it's our country ISP's domain problem, can't see the pic here too.
I don't see any screenshot as well
Ok, sorry, guys. I wasn't aware that anyone had blocked imageshack. I dunno why, but whatever lol
I've attached the screenshots to the first post, so you should be able to view them now....look at the bottom of the OP to view
Screenshots are brilliant
Nice looking theme!!
So I installed the theme and am loving it BUT I can't seem to get the Notification Power Widget to work. I have everything selected properly but it just won't show.
Also, there is this gray bar along the top of the lockscreen that shows my provider on the right but also has a Plus sign in the middle and then just gray to left. I tried adjusting the settings for the Date and Provider settings in CM Settings but nothing seems to make the bar disappear. It will make my provider information disappear but the plus sign and gray bar remain. Any suggestions?

Some things need you to reboot your phone after changing in the tweaks menu. Try restarting your phone and see if it helps....I'm pretty sure the power widgets is one of those items

I rebooted a few times after changing things (it gives a prompt to do so after you change anything) and still no go.
The Settings menu and dialer also doesn't look like it does in your screen shot so I tried reinstalling it and the theme with the same result. I'm considering reinstalling Beta 4 and starting from scratch again.......
Any other suggestions?
I really don't know what to tell you...it should work. The phone app I posted is the correct one. If it's not changing on your phone then it's not installing properly for some reason...I'm not sure why, but if you're willing to try a fresh install from scratch, then go for it!!

I have no doubts that it should work, just trying to figure out why it isn't.
I have quite a few backups from the stuff I was doing so it's not a problem to get back to my previous 2.1 install. It's just a pain.....making a backup as I type this.
I'll try to restore the backup I made before I installed the theme and if that doesn't work, then I guess I'm back to the reinstall Beta 4 option.

So I restored to before installing the theme and still no dice. Restoring back to 2.1 right now and then will try reinstalling Beta 4 and trying again.
Just out of curiousity, with which basebands is this theme meant to work? I am running baseband .55 and was wondering if that might have something to do with the issues I was experiencing.

Nice! I wanted this theme for Wolfbreak's ROM. Thanks!
One super important question though... do we lose hw lights after installing this theme ?
No why have you? Only image mods and couple XML doesnt affect that at all
Very nice theme, only after installing i lost gmail & google maps. Had to reinstall them. And the HW leds stopped working
Not understanding why these would stop working. framework and the listed apps are all thats touched and included in the zip
Think i found the problem-re uploading
How do i access the custom dockbar gallery?
Just put the images you want onto your SD and use backgrounds etc, for icons if you are using ADW or Launcher Pro you can long press your homescreen shortcuts and select icons form gallery. ADW and LauncherPro also allow you to select a custom dockbar background form gallery
Thank you =) great work by the way
I've been using your perfect 2.1 ROM and installed this after i had wolfs 6.1.3 with v53 running perfectly on my phone. Never had an issue with any of your themes or ROMs but have tried 3x even reinstalling all the way from 2.1....
Main problem is that ARC launcher keeps crashing whenever i try to add any shortcuts...etc
Also no way to access Settings?
It seems as the icon has disappeared and when i try to get to settings from home screen when i click on it nothing happens... It's like it's been deleted. It gives me no error just won't let me get into settings.
The only change i would like to see and none of the themes and ROMS have it passed 2.2 is deletion of the hold button on the caller screen. I may have to switch back to your old 2.1 ROM since i didn't have the problem of accidentally hitting the hold button while in a call. This happens EVERY time I'm on a call and my face pushes the hold button. I have no idea why they would put it up there in the first place nothing wrong when it was on the bottom in 2.1.
Otherwise....AWESOME can't wait for the fixes for this theme and waiting for you work on 2.2 and beyond since your ROMS are always A+
update: most everything working fine after 1.1 update...though after reboot nexus live wallpaper theme wasn't running so i thought the theme didn't take.
Only beef is I really don't like the battery and wifi bars looking so similar. I wish there was another way of doing that so it wasn't so obtrusive. Maybe just color dots. RED means no cell signal Yellow means 1-2 bars Green means 3-5 bars
besides the HOLD button on the call screen this is the best theme out there.
THANKS!!
sweet will keep track of this thread good lad

i've tried the newer version but HW leds are still not working and now i'm getting a lot of crashes of android.process.acore
HW Led is framework-res.apk related so i think easiest way is to import your Stuff into my framework from v05
yeah il need to change framework - update shortly
Updated with fixes, shouldnt be any issues with HW lights etc
I get FC permanentely... android.process.acore and com.google.process.gapps.. cant use phonebook or sms app this way... maybe thats why battery percentage doesn't work proberly either.. always shows different values than battery has +-10%
I'm on CM 6.1.3 V053 with all current hotfixes...
Nevertheless: looks good
Not sure on the fc but the battery is my bad forgot to keep the relevant files when changing framework-res nevet even noticed

[THEME] AOSP GB theme for Stock DX .596

Did this one by request. Pretty straightforward AOSP GB look for 596. Thanks to Fabolous(@bigxie) for letting me use some of the files from Apex 2.0 to save me a little time. Also I used the Swype GB keyboard from Liberty(JRummy). This theme will let us keep Blur but still have the feel of AOSP.
Most of the blue from MotoBlur should be gone but there are still a couple areas where it might pop up. I will try to fix as I find them. Three flavors to choose from: Standard AOSP GB look, AOSP GB with 10% battery and an alternate version with a glossy notification bar and 10% battery.
You must be on the deodexed 596
It is best to flash the deodexed 596 then install this zip file via Clockwork Recovery.
UPDATED 6/12/11
*Blacked out the Social Messaging widget
*More blue elements removed
Links are the same. Just download and install new zip

Thanks for this awesome theme. This is what the gingerbread x update should have looked like. I hated that blue dialer, blue notification bar, just hated blue in general. I have tried all the gingerbread roms out there. It seems like they remove alot of the functionality of the rom like, photo sharing without having to download the facebook app in which it sucks. Once again thxs.

I tried the second one with the numbers on the battery... bootlooped me. A shame, because I'd love to have this theme. I too hate the shaded blue all over the place. Maybe I'll try again later.

Worked the second time! Thanks for this!
This is the tits!
This is my first ever theme, but I really like it. Was running stock GB and completely hated it. This makes it almost perfect!
Now I can wait patiently for all the bugs to get worked out of CM7.
Is there something I am missing? I have tried to flash the first two of these, and with both, the right side lock slider (the one that controls volume) does not look correctly. It has a whitish tint, while the left side slider looks correct and dark grey. I ran the deodexer to get back to stock, but I would love to use this. The mismatched lock sliders are a dealbreaker.
I appreciate any work put into correcting this or helping me out to fix it.
Edit: the right slider looks correct (dark grey) when I use it and enable silent mode. When I slide it again, it turns back to white (cycles this way).
Awesome theme
New to this whole thing and just put this theme on my phone. Its great for all but one thing. The select color and the "motion stop" color when you scroll and hit the end are yellow.. is there any way to get them in android green, or can you write up a tut on how to change it? I'd like to get them in the same color as the wifi/batt icons.
I paired this up with [Theme] AOSP GB Themed Blur Dialer for .596 so it may be that addition that made it this way but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much for the great theme!
natemz....I haven't seen anything from you since I had my Storm. I know this is good if you did it.
Anyways....do you have to be rooted for this? I havent been able to root this phone yet. Thanks in advance.
the deodexed .596 is prerooted.. so i suppose you do have to be rooted... its a pretty painless process.. search flash .596 deodexed.... do it.. no point in dealing with vz's lame unrooted mess. I am kicking myself for not sbf'ing before now... if you're already on the .596 gingerbread ota from vz you should be able to backup and reuse the backup to restore your data
nice theme
Awesome themes. I'm using them now. No problems so far.
I take that back. Unless I'm missing something, I no longer have the slide to unlock screen working. It automatically goes to the home screen every time now. Anyone else have this happen?
Will this work with .602? If not, will it be updated (please)?
EDIT: I tried installing this on manually deodexed .602 a couple times and just end up with a boot animation loop. So yeah, doesn't work with .602.
EDIT: EDIT: Nevermind, I'm obviously an ADB noob. I used GB_2.3.3_4.5.602_Deodexer.zip instead and all is good. This theme is working fine with .602.

Is there any changes to the lock screen? The reason I ask is that I never liked the original one in this ROM. Great ROM though!

Not really. Changing the lock screen would require code change. I actually like the lock screen layout.
The best I could suggest would be "WidgetLocker" or "GoLocker".
Cheers.
since it's around 105mb, it shlould fit in ogygen r2 hboot, if it's to big, i think you should remove something useless like sounds/whatever, maybe checkout something from dgb, maybe steal the font or use another launcher.
i try to flash it right now, hopefully it works
Congrats zedmarcus, I've downloaded it now and will give it a test once I've got chance with my phone
Unfortunately my girlfriend doesn't let me get much time to do ROM / phone stuff at the weekend so I will probably have to test this Monday!
Looking forward to it though, I've not used Redux for ages but I think it was the first custom ROM I put on my phone when I rooted!
seems not to work in oxygen r2 hboot :-(
Hmm... A couple of things I've seen need changing. Version 2 this week.
Cheers.

Glad you like it.
I've got a few ideas for the next version, but suggestions are welcome.
Cheers.
Is there a way to add battery percentage without using UOT kitchen?

Battery percentage is built in as an option in settings. Just go to the "interface" options and turn it on.
Cheers.

Drop down quick settings/notification menu should be solid not transparent... imho. It will be clearly more visible. Thats just my opinion..

Nice rom, love the look, i havent had the need to mess with uot kitchen. I have been using it for one day and its smooth with no fc. I noticed that apps2ext did not work until I flashed the delvic and apps zip. I would prefer to have delvic in the system memory. Has any one else had this issue? I'm on cm7r2 with 1.5ext.
One other thing I like having 5 points on the dock bar, so I'm using go launcher at the moment, and there is no noticeable lag. Any chance of modifying the dock bat to 4 or 5 apps?
16hours of medium use and at 59%,
Again great rom!

I use a dark coloured background on my phone so I quite like the transparent pulldown as most things are pretty visible anyway, but I get what you're saying. I'll have a look for V2.

I use GoLauncher myself as well (with an ICS theme it looks really good), but I like the fact that on android people have the choice to put whatever launcher over the top that they want. I'll have a look at the dock bar and see what I can do (not promising anything mind).
I've been using it with the new thalamus r4 kernel (found the link to it somewhere on here - I'll post the link later as I'm at work right now), and am getting really good battery life myself (Ondemand, Screenstate scaling "on"). No lag anywhere that I can find.
Cheers.
