Anyone got a mod for just the CRT screen off? Don't like screen on as it fades in and doesn't look right
I am searching also just the "CRT Animation" when i Screen OFF with the button on the top of my phone.
And i don't want to install useless application like "Screen Off and Lock", or change my Rom.

I did this yesterday.
All you need to do is replace the downanimation.zip file in /system/customize/resource with the CRT version.
I've attached it because I can't remember where I downloaded it from.

This is not what was requested.
Yours is when you shutdown the phone, he (and me ) want the crt animation when you just turn off the screen.
If you want an other DownAnimation with CRT, you can see this : [Downanaimation] HTC CRT
But as explain LittleH79, it is not what we expect.
I asked capychimp and he is going to look into it
It is a good news, i hope he will done it.

Grab bootanimation.zip from /system/media from a ota zip or any roms thats using the default animation and you'll have the files.
I found the animation.zip but I don't know where to put these file, so it will appear in the live wallpaer animation

I support this cause.
I just think the boot animation is too fast (attracts too much attention) and eats up a lot of CPU. It just needs some tweaking, I think.

Make sure you have window animation speed set to normal with spare parts. Changing it stops crt animation from working.

Does this apply to all ROMs, because I have window animation speed set to slow, and my CRT animations work fine (CM7).

Sorry that should read "may stop CRT animation from working."
It was a problem on certain ROMs I tried. Not all of them though.

I have tried to change the boot animation on my device(rooted) and was unable to do so even after a day workout.. earlier samsung android phones(may be others also) used to have bootanimation.zip which could be easily replaced but currently i cannot see any bootanimation.zip for galaxy r stock roms. i have tried all the possible locations for it.
it may be possible that (i dont know) samsung has shifted the bootanimation to qmg formats which are seen in system/media folder.
even tried UOT kitchen but no chhange in boot animation and lock screen
i couldn't find much threads for changing lockscreen for the device.
please help me change the bootanimationand the lock screen. i have a bootanimation.zip file and a cooked UOT file.

UOT kitchen won't change your lockscreen, and not bootanimation either - These options work only with AOSP/CM based roms.

Lock screen depends on rom, if u use chinese firmware u will get galaxy note like lock screen and if u use others u will get s ii like slide page to unlock screen.
I think u need data toggle in notification drawer, 2 options to get it
1. Use any theme by alfone (project series, can be found in theme section) all themes have data toggle
2. Use 14toggles mode (can be found in dev section) u can have data toggle with other usefull toggles also.

You can flash GLX-R or Titanium 2.1, GLX-R will come with ICS Lock screen which you have on GS II and it will have Data on/off by default on the Status Bar..
or
if you want to continue with your stock ROM and have the data on/off in the status bar then follow the steps in below link you can add them.

Bro i do not want to change my rom coz i m over it.. I just wanna customize my rom manually just like we can do miui n others using UOT.. are there any softwares to do it.. Or i have to really make my hands dirty playing with the code..
Eg: i would like to decompile the framework res.apk and make the lock screen dots invisible..
Replace the GPS toggle in ma tray with data toggle button..
Can anyone help me with that.. I dont want to flash those 14 toggles n all stuff to my stock firmware..

Dude it's really uneasy process, that requires decompiling, modifying framework files (not only framework-res.apk, or systemUI.apk) and recompiling. It's not a piece of cake...u won't do it with UOT-kitchen. Graphic changes have to be done manually. I really don't think anybody here...will just tell you "how to". You should ask more advanced themers or for example TheFrankenstein who ported SII-ics lockscreen to his rom. Otherwise it's really hard to find some tutorial "for noobs" (I've tried it by myself- no luck )

Yup I apologized SII Neither Xperia S nor HTC One S offers more more than old SII which is BTW. cheaper. One S has a great CPU but otherwise is too expensive compromise.

u bought new phone or got back what u already had and sold?
I bought SII, gave back after one week and took replacement (no big deal just wanted to check if all of them get hot so fast), which I gave back after couple of days too... and took my money back because...I just wanted to buy htc one s. (In the meantime prises of S2 have fallen.) I did a little survey, studied xperia s and one s specs and compared them to s2. I read some users's opinions about hw/sw issues and eventually decided to buy s2 again, which I did last saturday.

Its the weather clock that does it. Long press the clock and drag It into "edit" on the top left, select your location you want, then check "show full screen animation"
Beautiful widgets sucks compared to sense widgets and they only copied sense.
so easy.
delete your weather clock widget, and add it again. You will see option: "show full screen animation ?" mark yes.

Well, it's a freaking well hidden setting that nobody knows since most people loves the HTC clock and they don't even move it.
Ever since I moved from my sensation to the One S I've been looking to get the full screen animation out of the weather clock widget. I finally did the right search to find the answer here. I am a bit of a n00b but it should be automatically set as enabled in the ROMs that are offered here and stock, don't know why it's not..?

It use battery & system resources for something mostly distracting and superficial. They then decided to put it obtional but forgot that nobody will know how to turn it on... (The inverse was true in previous Senses)

I'm not sure if you are in the market for a new ROM but AOKP has this feature.

I have one but it's on my "screen off" app. Out shows the old tv static for a second then crt animation off. Not for ON tho.
