Anyone notice a high Exchange Server RPC latency for your Infuse when using ActiveSync/OWA and the stock email client? When I use ExMon it runs around 200ms (spiking higher) whereas my Android tablet (and all other clients/devices on our Exchange Server) only runs < 5 ms.
Thanks,
Greg
Exchange Server 2007 SP1
Infuse:
Firmware 2.2.1

We just upgraded our outlook web from 2007 to 2010 the upgrade ended up breaking all Entourage and Crackberries and Android phone Active sync connection. We were able to get the Entourage and Crackberries fixed minus about 10%. The android has been limited to 2.2 and 2.1 phones using the default exchange client. It gets to the point of creating the account and fails after polling and setting up active sync for 5 minutes. It will authenticate the users but states can't create the account at this time.
I don't have full access to the active sync (AD settings or IIS) we use godaddy ssl certs.
the original link was piratemail.ecu.edu and the workaround is legacypiratemail.ecu.edu
More than anything resource material for how the android side is wanting to authenticate and build the account on the phone from the exchange server settings would be great.
Is anybody else having issues connecting to an exchange server? We use Office365 here in the office. I manage 15 other Xoom tablets in the field with a ton of custom software that we use. I'm trying to find the best solution for Roms for our Techs, since they all do different things. However, I'm unable to connect to our Exchange server in the regular E-Mail client, not the Gmail one... Keeps coming up with unable to connect to server, but I can do it just fine under Motorola or Tiamat just fine.
I had the same issue with Office 365 Exchange, they are changing some servers around(the old severs no longer have valid certs) and you need to log into your account and go to 'Outlook' (OWA) and note the new address in your URL, use that one and it will work like a champ.
I currently read email via imap from a government computer system. They are about to send a memo that Android devices are no longer allowed to connect with imap to these servers and will have to use a browser based email portal. Apparently Windows and Apple devices are OK, though.
My question to the general masses is this. Is it possible somewhere on my phone to set how the imap client presents itself and inject that this is, for example, an iPhone? Or would that have to be at the application level? I am currently using K9 mail and it works great.
I am running the Dark Knight ICS rom (version 3 - android 4.0.4) on a Samsung Captivate, btw.
Thanks and I hate the thought of using a browser to read emails!

Hi!
after OTA update, connection to my exchange server (2007) does not work at all.
alternative email clients (very strange, but fact) does not work at all, also.
