Hey Guys, as the title says I'm having some trouble rooting my Ascend. I've succeeded doing so with SuperOneClick before I upgraded it to android 2.2 and now that I have, it wont root.
I also tried the app Z4root, but no luck either. Is there any other way to root the Ascend ?

To root the phone use unlockroot 2.3.3. Check on Google. And for unlock try huawei unlock app. Have fun.

1. Are there any costum roms
2. How can i get cwm (bootloader locked)
3. Are there apps like xPosed installer cause it´s not working on my device

Why there is no Huawei Ascend P7 costum roms on the forum?:crying:
The phone is very very new, right now costum recoveries are being worked on so we can use custom roms. Have patients...we'll get there!

I slightly laugh when people say "Make it yourself" some people aren't that great with development so they can't do it. Hence why they ask. You should understand that.
And the roms will be released when more developers get their hands on the device, so it shouldn't take as long. Just have to wait.

I humbly request the service of any sort of dev that can help build a custom recovery for our phone.
We have an unlocked bootloader and we also have root. The next step is to get a custom recovery. We have a small community right now but it seems to be growing pretty fast. This isn't some budget phone it's sort of a mid tier phone lots of potential. It's also called the AT&T Tribute or Fusion 3. Please help.
We are so close to having things set so we can start developing on custom roms.
