[Q] How to partion sd card for HTC Wildfire s?

Hi Everybody,
I have a HTC wildfire s with android 2.3 and HTC sense.My mobile is root . I have tried partion sd card to solve memory problem.A2SDGUI application is not work HTC wildfire s .Have you a idea ?

do you have a custom recovery? you can partition your sdcard in recovery (an example of one for your phone can be found here). you can only use the a2sdgui once you have partitioned your sdcard.

Thanks for response .Custom recovery is worked but nothing seems in a2sdgui .

How best to partition the sd-card?

Hey guys, I hope someone can help me with this little problem.
I got a new Samsung 32gb sd-card for my Sensation.
My rom is currently InsertCoin with ICS and I'm using the "4EXT Recovery Touch".
So now is the question how to partition the sd-card? One EXT or two? What is the advantage of two EXT's?
And do I need Swap?
The last time I need Swap was on my HTC Dream That's a long time ago.
Is it usefull on the Sensation?
How is your sd-card partitioned?
I would be very pleased about some answers!!!

and what about Apps2SD?
My internal storage is nearly full and i have not many apps on the phone, so i think an EXT could be very usefull for that, e.g. for games

[Q] Htc Desire Internal Storage

Hi all, i know this will be an old subject but the truth is i had a Desire 2 yrs ago before i started to play around with rooting and flashing etc.
Now i own my second Desire and it is rooted, s-offed, clockworkmodded and flashed with cm7.1.
I have recently been looking at improving my internal storage space and from what i can gather there are a few ways to do such a thing.
The problem is they seem a little bit too complicated for me not to mention a bit risky.
I am wondering if anyone has a simple method that will give me more internal space.
My sd card is partitioned (8 gig total 1gig ext3) i just don't know where to go from here.
Here are some details of my device.....
CWMod 5.0.2.0
CM7.1 Android 2.3.7
HBOOT 6.93.1002
Please Help!!

UPDATE:
I have managed to gain a little more space on my internal storage.
I found an app in the market called A2SDGUI and it allowed me to move the Dalvik Cache to the sd ext resulting in my storage jumping from 44mb to 107mb.
However, i am still looking for an answer to using the sd ext partition for all my apps since i have 1gig of space available.

CM 7 doens't have APP2SD integrated, this is why all the apps are installed onto the internal memory.
If you install any custom rom on XDA with APP2SD (MIUI, leeDroid for instance), you won't have any space problems.
Don't need to do anything else beside flash the rom, since you already have partitioned your SD card.

New Sd card

Hello, i recently bought a samsung 16gb class 10. I'm using custom rom on my sensation xe so i want to know how to make things work..in the past i have done something similar with desire..i partition the new sd..copy paste the old sd and then flash from recovery the backup...if that is the correct method i want to know how to partition my sd for roms? (ext2 fat32 etc) and how much gb in each partition? thank you

instead of installing apps normally on sdcard I want to create a separate ext4 partition on my sdcard and install all apps on it.
is it possible with any custom rom? currently i'm using PACman ROM.
I have bought a new fast 32gb sd card so was thinking of this. I have read many threads but no definitive answer in this HTC desire S forum.
