When I rooted my Xoom and backed it up through CWM I did not realize/forgot that the backup was not on my actual SD card and was on my internal storage so obviously when I installed the new Tiamat 2.0 ROM I lost my original backup. I was hoping someone had a copy or a zip or something that I could just install through CWM and then make my own backup again. My Xoom originally was running US 3G Verizon 3.1 HMJ37. Does anyone know where a copy is to a link with just one file for me to install like the Tiamat 2.0 ROM. I am hoping this is something easy to solve without having to unroot my Xoom make a backup and then root again. Can anyone help???

Hello all,
I just installed my first ROM (TnT lite 2.2) using clockworkmod. Prior to that I made a back up image. The gtab is clearly faster, flash working! And Market fix applied. I'd like to try restoring the clockwork back I had made. Is it as easy as booting up CWM and restoring? I also made a copy of the CWM backup folder on my external SD CARD.
Thanks!
B
got it
Please disregard question. I found the answer. Clockworkmod restored the back up no prob.

Hey Peps,
Does anybody know if it's possible to take a CWM backup of a custom ROM to external SD, from one transformer and restore to another transformer.
I ask as I have a new unit (bundle inc dock) on route and would like to save some time and not to have to setup/config everthing over again, just enjoy!
ie
Backup current ROM using CWM to an external SD
Root and custom recovery new transformer using current methods
Restore CWM backup to new transformer from external SD
Reboot
Relax!
Anything else?
Many Thanks in advance!
I don't see why not.

I would recommend just grabbing the stock images from my sticky. Link is in my sig. Fastboot flash them, then make a backup.

After a lot of forum research I was finally able to successfully root, install cwm, and miui onto my wife's fascinate. I used cwm and made a backup on her stock rom, a backup of her miui, and used titanium to backup her apps. Everything was fine until last week she had an issue while trying to update miui causing the sd card to show as blank or having a bad file extension.and Ultimately we ended up having to format the card. Now with a formatted sd card I cannot backup any images of roms. Using red cwm I get an error saying e:error/dev/block/stl11 and e:recovery/log/file already exists. I am assuming this is because the new card does not have any of the files on it, but when i tried putting them in the root it still does not work. The phone and current miui rom work fine, and I can Odin stock froyo if necessary, but I would like to get things back to how they should be. Aside from using odin to flash back to stock and starting all over is there any way to get the necessary files onto the sd card to make things work correctly. I've seen other similar thread but in most the phone seems to be not working at all, ours works but just wont let you backup or flash roms now.
I flashed Tiamat 2.2 and then accepted the OTA update it failed then my sounds was messed up then I flashed a 3.2.2 stock to get the sound back then back to Tiamat 2.2 (but with the modpack 3 this time) but now I try to use Titanium Backup and when I use the batch it just stays at 0%
Suggestions?

bump, Anyone?
Are you trying to batch restore missing apps and data? Where is your backup saved to? I save mine to my micro sdcard (and dropbox) so it is safe from any data loss my Xoom internal storage might experience.
