Searching for a good ROM for me

Hi guys,
I have a little Problem. I am seaching for a fast ROM in my Language (DE) without too much useless batterykillers.
So what the ROM should include is:
Internet (Opera, IE) and Modem for my Notebook, Phone, Navigation (Google Maps), AdobeReader, Office, Youtube, MediaPlayer, and the one or other Game . I think the normal but small Package.
I would prefer to intall all the other Software I need by myself, cause, just for example, I have big problems with TomTom HOME 2 in combination with the preinstalled TomTomNavigator V.7.915. Home 2 says the Navigators Version is not suppotet. And I don't like to have 2 TomTom versions on my PPC.
The Problem is that I am an absolute newbie having now idea what ROMs are available and/or good for my application and I don't like to spend month searching for a good ROM and destroying my hardware out of anger with the not working TomTom. So I ask you hoping for good answers and help.
(Sorry for beeing so impatient but I spend about 30 hours with this f*** TOMTOM and it always does not detect my Maps Version 8.30)

It looks to me that you're looking for ROM with "Lite" or "Naked" in a name/description.
So you should do a lot of reading in xda-developers > Polaris > Polaris upgrading etc.

so now I tried to understand a little bit inside xda-developers > Polaris > Polaris upgrading etc.. Result: Many Questions. To many to ask.
I think, after all i read, 3LIT3 isn't a bad choice, but which one?
In every thread about a Version, I found some answers telling about big Problems?!
I realy don't know what to do now.
I just want a small, fast working ROM for my Polaris?
Is nobody out there, who can say me the name of such a ROM. PLEASE!!!

At the moment im using 3LIT3 Lite GER without problems.
A good german Rom is also Olioaglio's german Rom

after I won the fight against my GPS-Navigation-Software*, I had much more peace to test some ROMs.
Something I did never want to do. Testing one after another ROM...
Well, I tryed the original ROM.... hmm... boring
afterwards I tryed M-Amine 2.0 Full. Nice, very nice, but too big. so many things I dont need. NEXT!
Next will be Olioaglio's Rom. Thanks for that hink.
and afterwards i will check 3LIT3 in the different versions...
But some questions are left:
1. what means WWE?

(dont even try to watch the first 5 seconds. the file is corrupt an you have to jump to second 5 or so.)
the question: where do I find the calendar!! I like it! Looks exactly like what I'm (OK, not realy) searching for
*the TT Navigator 7.910 does not detect Maps of version 8.xx. Google says it does, I say "no, it doesn't!!!". Reason unknown!

Toshiba Voice Translation Software on WM??

I was on CrunchGear a short while ago and I seen a video with the new Toshiba TG-01 running this cool software on there Windows Mobile phone that I hope can be ported b/c it's a very good app that can be useful in so many ways!! It's a voice translation software and I know I've seen mentions of this software wanted plenty of times on XDA!!

i don't know about other ROm language... but It's ROM operator...
i saw only Italian ROM is W/o Operator addiction...
On video, you can watch, it s on Japaneese ROM... this ROM is different...
U need Found a TG01 user with Japaneese ROm to have acces a this Software...

SE Bluetooth Watch MBW-100 & HD2?

So,i have this SonyEricsson Bluetooth Watch - it work perfectly with my SE P1i,but....
I want to use it with the HD2.
I read a lot on this subject and what i found:
the program is called btWatch,i downloaded it from handheld.softpedia
I'm not allowed to post links so just type "btwatch" in Google and you'll se the page....
It has installed on my HD2,but when i try to run the program i see : ERROR!
Any Idea?

P.S.I've tried with changing the .NetFramework version on my HD2 from 2.0 to 3.5,but still no success.

From what I remember when I had one of the watches, that software was only for older bluetooth stacks that weren't compatable with the watch. These newer ones in the HD2 should be compatable without any additional software.
Have you tried just pairing the watch to your HD2 without the software? You could be surprised...?

¿Whats wrong? maybe your answer... There isn´t any professional on this forum, only people willing to learn and help others with their experience, if none of them knows how to help you it is normal if they do not post here.
next time try to give more info about our problem, which rom version are you using, radio, language of your rom,... that will help others who want to help you.

[Q] Clean ROM

Hello, my name is Andrew and im new on this forum. I have a HTC TOUCH PRO and i want to install on it the last windows version but I can't find here any "original" version.. with any modifications . I read the forum but there are too many versions and i can t understand witch one is the last ORIGINAL (stock) version and from where i can download it. ( a link will be usefull )
Also, i want to ask you guys what i can do with the games to run faster? I play guitar hero 5 on my phone but it is too slow and that is not funny. If you know anything that can help me, please tell me. (i can t find any graphic accelerator or something like that)

The most up to date stock ROM can be downloaded from HTC directly.

Look out for compatibility specifics such as whether or not this ROM works on both CDMA and GSM and whether or not it would work on custom versions like the FUZE... I forget these specifics.

Touch Pro (Raphael) is not the fastest device. For games a TouchHD would be more suitable.

the only way to make it faster is to use a non stock rom, try some of the "lite" roms.

Theres an overclock tweak app laying around in apps section try it out!though won't work on battery alone but when charging, install htc gps tool run it and you can use overclocking on battery too
