My ideea is to **** a ROM based on the vanilla version wich is a very good version with no unecessary stuff,but the version of the wm6 english 5.2.116.18120 STANDARD v3.2 has more options wich is a very good thing from my opininion a good ROM sould have as much options as possible,and to be more stabile than the rest and with more free memory…My ideeas aren`t very shiney but I hope you will like it.
From the way I thing a ROM sould have/be:
• Fully application unlocked
• With htc camera 4 wich is a very good version of camera with allot of option and a great quality or the latest version of cool camera wich is allso very good
• We should select from all the cocked ROM`s the Media Player who can support many format`s of music like .mp3,.mp4,.wmv,.aac,.wma,mpeg,mpeg 4,.3gp,.avi and many others..(with the wmp 11 interface)
• The File manager maybe somone can **** to extract the .zip,.rar archives and stuff like that
• Automatic date/time adjustment with the latest gsm update included
• The latest version of htc SIM manager,wm5 storage,low light
• English xT9 included
• In the SMS recived if someone can make to view the smiles (the most used onley)
• Office 2007 just like in the original one
• Iconor list view but put it somehow in the display option
• The latest version of SmartExplorer
• In the album viewer at Pictures &Videos if someone could make it just like in the wm3 from the Spv c500 to give super extra large zoom at the pictures & to preview more medias
• In the games if could be include the Celeris virtual pool 2007 and the solitaire without bubble breaker
• Voice command
• The latest ADP
• To run more faster reboot,on/off (startup)
• Latest AKU drivers
• Basehue Express
• Make more options but make it to be easey to use not like in the version wm6 english 5.2.116.18120 STANDARD v3.2 the options are good but some of them are very hard to use,the options are good and usefully but are very complex and not all of the wm6 ROM`s or smartphone user know how to use,what I mean is that the options are very hard to change make it more easely to use because some of the users are afraied to use them just because are very complex and none of them whant`s to turn his software upside down…
• Rezolv the connection problems from bluethoot work because in all of the ROM`s that I tried the BT doesn`t work properley/corect
• Make MMS and SMS work faster and good because allmost 50% from the ROM`s realesed have problems or works slow…
This are my ideeas…aren`t very shiney but hope to be usefully….
Most of the not-already-implemented ideas are not for a recooked WM6 version, but for a new WM7 version. Please submit those to Microsoft!

i don`t know if it real is for a new wm7 but we can try to do something i can help ...we can make the best ROM i realy do not know how to make a ROM but it can`t be to hard to make this ROM possible ..
so if someone can do this i`d be gladley to help ...it is`n so hard to do let`s just think,we can change the WM6 English 5.2.116.18120 Standard v3.2 and just remove and add

Guys i`d just search somethig to try to start my own ROM and i found that the sorce code can be found ,i just read this and realised that i allready have the sdk so if you would help me to make this ROM i can help with the information "The Windows Mobile Software Developer's Kit (SDK) ships with over a hundred code samples. These are working applications that can help you learn to develop software for the Windows Mobile platform.
The code samples are installed when you install the Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK and the Windows Mobile 6 Standard SDK . Each SDK ships with code samples that are common to both platforms, as well as samples that are specific to each platform" i don`t whant to upset you or something but i`d be gladlley if someone will offer
i installed TNT's latest rom and Paragon LENg since eyron doesn't work on WM6. (especially not with iGO), what happened is that i couldn't read my sms messages. the solution is to go to settings\system\leng options and mark "Disable interface translation". hebrew works well using that option.
i checked it on 2 more ROMS and it does the job.
hope it helps someone.
to get Paragon's LENg.. you can just search for it in google... i assume i shouldn't post a link here.

anyway about Paragon , the issue is that it's eating memory.
like u start u'r Wizard with 29 MB free but when installing paragon on it , u gon have 26 or 25.
to make your wizard with less lags u should change the region ( in the setting of LENG ) to United states, then the calender will he in english and not akward hebrew !

i tried changing the region but it also requires everything to be in english.

My respect to those who do use it WM6.1PRO on a Tornado. However, there isn't much sense on doing so when we already have a WM6.1 for Tornado. You should try it out. Works very nice!

i beg to differ markanthonypr there is some sence put it in to a tornado rom and that is just for the sake of it having a profesional rom on a smathphone it just looks cool plus its not that hard to use it without a touch screen, i had it on my phone for several month's with no problems at all aside from the emulator as you already guess it it makes evry emulator with touch support enable it self so it do sent let you use as you would on a standard rom that made me switch to my current rom that is to a standard one, so all in all it makes sence it's yust depends on what you like tha's y there's a saying (To Each its Own)
I agree, I make full use of my tornado with a pro rom. There is absolutely no problem in using it without the touch screen, apart from some program that is not optimized for the d-pad.
Again, my respects to all who have the patience to play with the Fack Cursor. I can't! I did try 2 Pro rom's, they were great, very fast and stable, however... whenever there is a beter solution than Fack Cursor, I would consider it, menwhile, I'm stuck with Standard.

I have PL MUI files for WM6.1 Pro, but i must integrate this with ROM. How do can this?
In one page of China i saw lot of wm 6.1 prof fo the tornado but all in chinese, if any know how to cook one with out the chinese lenguage, i think can help me.

i dont know if it is posible, but i saw lot of roms in chinese page.
I use virtuamouse, it's not freeware but it's better than fake cursor. If I had to cook a rom anyway I would put fakecursor too, because virtuamouse sporadically fails to show up in some application.
If you cook I'm in to test. I have 2 tornado's, both with a pro rom.
I would like to integrate the touchflo 2d, but I can't install because of storage space. It would be nice to find a storage card version.
I have the same problem with TouchFlo 2D. I tried to modify CAB to install on storage card, but is still installing to storage space. Any information for TouchFlo 2D on memory card is needed.
EDIT: Any news about kitchen for WM6.1 Pro for Tornado ?
I Just flashed the Tornado with the RC6, and although it is indeed in russian, i've noticed the VGAKEY is simply set to primary language russian. However, i was unable to find the key that will enable me to scroll up and do the changes.
I'm guessing i'm gonna need to install a "cursor" and then once you change the VGAKEY to english primary, it should all be in english i'm guessing
Is not this. In RC5, VGAKEY primary language is Russian, but all ROM is in English. I tried to set English in RC6, but this is impossible without programs.
If rom is in russian you can't install english afterwards... Can anyone confirm if I'm right?
p.s.: Can anyone contact Kamikadze to earn his kitchen or any info?

I use kamikadze's pro ROM and the only time I need to use cursor is when setting alarm. Otherwise, buttons can do all the work. So, patience is not something that is needed with it. Just install mobile shell and admire the masterpiece of look/functionality.
By the way, I dont know if there is a new version of kamikadze's ROM, but the one that I use (installed it ten days ago) has an english version, you just need to set english in regional settings.

I just install full 6.5 ROM.
There're some problem I found as following.
1. some setting items is not response(Power, Organize StartMenu, Backlight, Device Info, Gsensor, Keyboard layout, Languages switch, Microphone AGC, Keylock, TV out, Task Manager, VueFLO, SMS Mode)
2. sound and notification is not close after setting
3. Comm Manager doesn't go back after press back button
I will come back to report more.

To me it is seems Like i Should Sell my X7510 After trying Almost all kind of Roms So i realised That it was a Bad Ever phone i Baught and Shame on HTC They not Provide Any Stable And fast Rom anf what a ATI VGA laggy you thought the 624Mhz CPU Maybe it Should be fast Enaugh at least as HD one my previews Phone, i am very disapointed and now i am stocked with Cooked Rom i cannot go back even to the official WM6.1 Rom Sorry Guys but this is the truth, Big Thanks To MichyPrima For his Great Effort.

I try both light and full version.
Light ROM is faster. But both will hang after play for awhile.
There're many icon in setting not work.
Next I will try 6.1 ROM

Been waiting for this. Installed on my 7510. Bugs are same as in poltep's post. So rom is not really usable but when it does work it is incredibly fast! Media player on the home screen is great w/ album art support and highly accelerated add to library feature. The whole OS seems so much faster than 6.1 and I prefer it if you could work out the bugs. Resco file explorer will not install nor will some other programs I tried. Please keep working on this as I'm sure all of us will donate generously when it is stable. And thanks again for your hard work! Is there a Wm6.5 media player upgrade or is it still the old 10.3 media player that is contained in your 6.5 rom?

Thank you for your fantastic efforts here. I am liking very much the 6.5 interface and am moving my other devices over to it. I have to echo the comments that have gone before, however. Many of the icons under settings do not respond so until that can be addressed the two 6.5 ROMs are somewhat problematic. The Chinese ROM that appeared on the forum appears not to have those problems ..... but of course its in Chinese. Alexeym is helping us with a WWE translation for that ROM so maybe that will help you go forward with your 6.5 development also?

Have been playing some more with the lite version of the 6.5 rom. Though unusable for issues raised in previous posts, I love the speed and usuability of media player, file explorer, etc. The biggest issue however is the inability to install programs. Total commander will install as will advanced config but Resco explorer, skype, tom tom, opera and other important progs will simply give an "install unsucessfull" error. I don't see this issue in posts about other 6.5 roms. Is there a registry fix that can enable these progs to install? I have disabled security warning and this didn't help. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Thank you Michy, The 6.5 inteface makes the advantage even better in my opinion... A lot has been captured already in the posts, but just wanted to help with my feedback... I have yet to see it (FUll version) hang on me and I was successfull installing a GPS application but unsuccessful installing iGuidance. Plese let me know if there is a work around. I'm downloading the light version as we speak and if there is any change with that version I'll let you know, otherwise assume I had the same issues.

Hey Michelle first of all your 6.5 ROM runs great smooth and fast on my X7510, way much better then the stock HTC ROM.
As told above indeed under settings, the back light & power shortcut/function do not work. I also noticed that every time i enter the start menu the icons change. For example the settings icon changes each time into the icon of one of the icons of the other apz in the ROM.
Also in the home screen the compose function for sms mail etc does not work.
The advanced con fig tool does not work also but can be installed and then works. Installing Tom Tom 7 is impossible ? How to solve this.
I have reverted to your 6.1 rom. And must say I'm very impressed by it. Tho still waiting for your 6.5 to be as perfect as can be.

Your roms really set the standard and I'm waiting for the WM6.5 one to have the discussed bugs fixed so I can upgrade.
Not wanting to put you under any pressure as you already do so much for the community, but are you continuing to play with WM6.5 for the x7150? In your signature, I cant help but notice that you run WM6.1 on your own Athena and its been a while since this thread has been updated.
Have you abandoned the project? I'll move across to your 6.1 rom if thats the case

Here is the german tread about this rom. Perhaps there is a solution.
Unfortunately, there were no tips on this side whether there is already an update coming (although Animelover wrote several times to make an update). Some users wrote that they have the same problem, but it was not entered closer on it.
All in all, it is successful rom (without mp3 as ringtone)
Very good ROM with mp3´s as ringtone.

But the comm manager only exists in light version,
so I do not know how to activate wlan and irda.
There´s only phone ans Bluethooth to choose.
I have installed HTC networkwizard and arcsoftMMS.

Perhaps, you give Animelover a donate, and he make a service for you. Think about, that all cookers make it in there freetime without taken money.
