Launcher pro Facebook widget ussues - Galaxy Tab Themes and Apps

I am running both launcher pro Facebook widget and the Facebook app widget and I have noticed that the launcher pro widget does not update properlly. I am not getting all the updates that I get with the actual Facebook app widget. Anyone else having this issue? I would rather just run the launcher pro widget instead of both Widgets as it looks a lot better. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I set the frecuency to refresh every five minutes. The problem is on the actual Facebook app widget I get my sisters posts but on the LP Facebook widget it will not show her posts, I can't seem to figure out why they the LP widget does not show all posts.

I got tired of the LP facebook widget too. Now I only rely on the android app.

Me too, but it was leaving me embarrassed by not seeing updates fast enough.

I couldn't seems to get my LP widgets to update;
given up on it.
HAve decided to move to ADW EX and colorize widgets.

Have you tested Go launcher. They have a facebook widget.

I tested all. LP, GO launcher and ADW and I can say LP has best screen performance and look faster when playing with 4 homescreens in same launcher. I have no issue with my LP Facebook widget.

how do i add apps to the bottom?
To add shortcuts to the dock, press the app tray, then hit menu and go to edit. From there you can drag apps into whatever order you want and you can move up to three apps in to the dock.

Dock icons
How do you add the Phone, Contacts, etc. to the dock? All I have is options and I'm not sure what to do to get the other icons there. Thanks in advance.
*EDIT: Nevermind, I see. Like mentioned above this post, open the app drawer, press the menu button, and press edit to drag icons.

Post Your Screenshots

Post all your screenshots here. I want to see how people have set up their plays.
That will be hard since the phone has to be rooted?
Any idea on how to photograph a phone with the screen so it shows it?
If I'm not mistaken I remember that you can use the android SDK to take pictures.
It shouldn't be to hard when you get the hang of it.

The battery seems to take a little hit when using SPB compared to ADW, altho it's not very noticeable as the Battery kicks all kinds of ass. It easily blows away the battery life of my old Nexus S. It also runs completely smooth.

Android 3.1 will be able to resize widgets natively (though the app/widgets need to be programmed to be able to do so).
3.1 will come to the Transformer soon.
ADW or Launcher Pro allow scaled widgets and seem to cope with my transformer well.
I have used both and have just made a skin to blend with my theme using launcher pro.
Launcher Pro and ADW will get more widgets as they develop and will be made tablet friendly (already are?)
I am sure 3.1 will be nice but I don't think it will be as customisable as these extended launchers
It is frustrating that pulse does not scale better - it will come I am sure
This is what I have done with a couple of the widgets from Launcher Pro
The facebook and twitter widgets are nice too

new facebook 1.7.1
guys new update from facebook released in the amrket with 1.7.1 version go get it from there njoy
unfortunately it didnt work. i couldnt install it. all i did was change one of the pictures. possibly there is some checksum and me changing the file has made it not match.
Its amazing for me... I uninstalled friendcaster pro... Only thing i hate is that whenever I post something, it says sent using mobile, maybe someone here on xda can provide a modified apk which will post 'sent using facebook for android'
Even with 1.7.1 I can't post status updates with the app!!
Verything else seems to woek fine but status updates causes a java.lang.NumberFormatException:1008150174021,1173694472525
I did
- clear chache
- and uninstall > fresh install
already...!!
Anyone else experiencing probs?

my only grudge is it never stops running no matter the settings. it used to stay cached in previous versions but now it's just sucking away. my temp fix is freezing it with TB
Hi,
Can someone upload a stable facebook app. I don't know which version is most stable but last update is a crap.

What tablet size widgets/apps d'you find useful?

I had been looking EVERYWHERE for a 5x1 or more size weather forecast widget for my Note.
And apparently, I'm an idiot. I'd uninstalled HD Widgets a few weeks ago only to discover today (after being informed by someone) that they do Note-friendly widget sizes, including weather forecast!
What about you guys?
Quite a few launchers allow you to resize widgets.
I resize widgets using ADW.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA
Nova or Apex prettt much the same and both will give you ban option to resize widgets.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Android Pro Widgets are in 5 columns wide if you keep TW as your launcher.
I use ADW EX as launcher and still use Android Pro Widgets (paid version), I like them. The widgets are made by the developer of Launcher Pro.
Resizing widgets only makes them bigger, not the same as widgets created to natively show more information in higher size.
Like for example, I found plenty of 4x1 widgets that displayed only a 4day forecast, stretching them didn't magically increase that forecast to five days!
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
I use HD Widgets full screen 5x5 (you can resize it 4x5 without loss)and I have my launcher set to 6x5
