try something like "sony ericsson xperia arc s root
and if you dont know how to root your phone, google is your friend!

Hi, it should work.
I tried on a LG P700 and it doesn't but it seems to be successful with all xperia series.

I have to extend my subscription with T-mobile today...
And they are offering the Sony Xperia Tipo and the Alcatel OT-991 as free devices.
And I cant decide wich of them should I get ..
Any helpfull tips mates ?
xperia definitely, easier to unlock boot loader and most definitely better dev support
