Which odin do I use to flash stock rom back to phone & pit file do I use, If I need a pit?

while flashing firmware with odin,
is it always mandatory to use the pit-file in the updating-process, or can you just put the appropriate file in pda and continue? the rom being updated is 2.1 just to never one (jm2->jm9).

I tried to update my Galaxy S with odin to Darky's 7.0 rom and stock & voodoo' s kernel. I also ticked PIT and linked the 512pit, and after this I can't use download mode. The darky rom says error, and just the recovery mode working. I can transfer files to my phone.
What should I do? Brick or not? My original rom was froyo 2.2 PDA:I9000XWJPF baseband: I9000XXJPP
Hey i am using Incubus RLS 13 with J1 rpm and radio. But i need to return the phone to Verizon for some of repair as my back cover doesn't stay in place.
Therefore i need to unroot and odin back to stock.
I wanted to know if i odin back to stock would it also automatically flash the stock radio as well ? If not does someone have a link to the stock radio to flash before removing root ?

It will flash the modem when you odin it. Also no need to unroot before you odin either.
What will happen if i get some linux images for arm-processors and flash them with Odin ?

I bricked Galaxy S4 LTE-A by applying CWM recovery to the phone.(The phone was unlocked before bricked)
All trials, from factory reset to re-installing the rom(working unlocked rom) failed.(infinite boot loop)
Now, I'm trying to unbrick the device by reinitializing the partition, but I don't have PIT file, and google search gave me nothing.
So, if anybody has stock Galaxy S4 LTE-A, can you extract PIT file?
PS. Any suggestions to unbrick the device will be very helpful.
I have SHV-E330S, where is the pit?
