[Q] [HELP] Kies Firmware Update Failed

Hello,
I just updated the firmware of my brand new Note 10.1 (N8000) using Kies, which seems to have failed - I can't even turn the device off. I'm a quite experienced computer user, but brand new to Android. Any help or feedback would be very much appreciated (esp. how I can at least turn off the device).
Problem Description:
I have a new Note 10.1 (a German device/I'm in Germany using the Vodafone network, but I guess that shouldn't matter) and installed Kies today. The application identified a new firmware and suggested an update, which I did via USB. Everything appeared to have gone all right - the file got downloaded, transferred to the device, which then showed that it was installing the updates (something like 95 items). No error message. The device then booted, and that's where it seems to be stuck: since then, the device is in an endless loop: Screen is black, a swirling animation comes up, than the Samsung Logo, which stays for like 12 seconds, the screen goes black and it starts from the beginning (in total the loop takes like 15 secondes). Kies cannot connect to the device, and I can't even turn it off, it's just stuck in this endless loop.
Before the update, the device was neither modified nor rooted (I only installed a few apps), and there was no error message during the update (at least none that I saw).
Can anyone help???
Get the firmware file from sammobile and flash with odin. You can find a lot of how to regarding Odin, just do a search and you will find a movie or tutorial.
Here is the fw
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/178817278/616d7ef/N8000XXBLJ9_N8000OXABLJ9_DBT.zip.html
The link is from sammobile, not a mirror, so it's safe.
Or you could just return it for an exchange.

Kies failed! Odin PASS and stuck in the logo!, it doesnt boot!
You may need to go into recovery and wipe data/cache partition. This will wipe your internal memory of everything but you will get an operational note...

[Q] Gt-i9003l Unkown Device in Mode Download

Hello, Good Morning !, I have a Samsung GT- I9003L and hangs on the screen where it says Samsung , at a time could enter the Recovery (which is not already) and make every Wipes , but still with the same thing goes on display where it says Samsung, so go in Download mode ( so if I can ) to see if I could install a ROM with Odin !, but the problem is that Windows recognizes it as me just Unkown Device , install KIES and you still take it , also try installing the drivers manually but to no avail ( do not know if they were correct , use those inside the installation of KIES ) .
I hope your answers , Regards Thank you very much !

Note: You may find them at Sammobile or XDA Website(s).

Question is can anyone help me ?? please ??
i'm begging you please
Hi,
Be sure you installed kies, which should give you the drivers to see your device. Then be sure Windows sees your device properly when you plug it in. (check Windows device manager )
Now, to use Odin, you need to stop any running processes of kies on your PC in task manager, processes. (doing control-alt-delete)
Also, your phone has to be in download mode for Odin to see it.
If you need any help with any of that, you should be asking in the last thread you linked.
Good luck!

Galaxy note 2 - gt-n7100

Hello everybody !
I have the galaxy note 2 - gt-n7100 , stuck with logo , that won't start nor allow into "recovery mode" .
Only possibility - to go into "download mode" , like i did few times , trying to flash it with official samsung firmwares from sammobile site, according to instructions i found in your site .
I tried it first with "kies" -ended with the message : "firmware upgrade encountered an issue . Please select recovery mode in kies and try again .
After that failed, i tried it with odin.
All the times i did , ended with green square at the top left corner , with "pass" written inside , but the device, would go back to logo instead of reboot, as it should .
Besides , when connecting to pc or laptop , using usb cable , mtp driver fails to install, and on screen message , prompted me, to consult the manufacturer of the device.
Obviously , not the pc nor laptop , would even recognize the device !
Please help !
What is wrong with that device ?
What can be done to get it back on track ?
Thanks in advance ! - all the best !

Are you flashing the newest stock firmware?
Have you tried flashing firmware along with the PIT for your device?
Have you tried booting to recovery and factory reset from recovery? If you can't get to recovery, try flashing TWRP and then factory reset in TWRP.

I wonder , maybe it's better to seek help, in a lab, for this case , after what i did so far .
Maybe there is a problem, with inner component or so .
Anyway , again , thanks a lot !
All the best !
