So I'm think the reason there isn't a ROM that can run both HBO Go and Netflix is that HBO Go only works with 2.3.3 ROMs and Netflix doesn't. Am I wrong? The solution seems to be to contact HBO and tell them to get this issue resolved. No clue how to contact them though.

Seems like no CM7 based roms plays HBOGo but play Netflix just fine.
I'm in the same boat as you, it is always either netflix or HBOgo. Would be nice to get them both working.
Accordig to Morfic, the Netflix\HBO issue has something to do with the stagefright lib. Not sure about the details yet, but the library is responsible for audio\video decoding.

Come on now i am not the only one that has the problem with youtube not working at all... Now im not super crazy about youtube, but i occationally do use it. It wont play ANY videos. Whats up?

If the app is not working sometimes you can use the browser to go to http://m.youtube.com. Click a video and it should play in your player.
i have the same problem
I'm having the same problem with the mobile site and the app... none of the videos are working properly. I have to keep clicking over and over again until it plays.
Its on the 1.5 kernel . seems Youtube updated some things on there end. Maybe its coincidence , but when i used the 1.6 or 2.1 dev roms Youtube seemed functioned fine then. We have to wait and see when the new roms come out

WAIT! Mine works now, but not all movies - thats been a problem for ever. I rebooted and tried again and I can play about 6 out of 10 movies.
I wonder if this is to do with the html5 switchover that youtube is working on.
Has anyone else managed to get hulu or netflix to work on xoom? Whenever I try hulu it says I need to update my adobe flash (After using modified one). And netflix simply doesn't work.
So I was wondering if anyone had any success?
Search hulu flash mod and look for the modified flash apk that works with hulu. As for Netflix, it uses Microsoft's Silver light, not flash, so it will not work.

I use splashtop HD to remote control my windows 7 pc, and then netflix and hulu run flawlessly. No frame drop or audio sync issues either.
802.11n network locally... but if i have a good fast wifi connection outside my home I can still watch netflix with acceptable image and sound quality.

Hey guys I don't know if this is an android problem in general but when I try to watch certain video clips I get a 403 forbidden error in the default browser (On all the ROMs that I've tried) and certain video streams that used to work perfectly well don't work anymore. I think justin or twitch still work though. Now, I used a pretty old version of the Oodie Prime MIUI ROM and it worked perfectly well. But maybe I flashed something on that version that I forgot to now. Any ideas?

i have just installed the Tegra2 fork of the XBMC app, and i know that it is in no way supported from official XBMC, i must say that the app is so close to useless i plan on uninstalling it.
has anyone else tried it out. i see that people trying it out on tegra2 devices report back statements like "flawless" and "works like a dream"
so howcome i can't even enter settings and the app crashes constantly. and i mean constantly.
Any Xoom XBMC users have a good version working ?
Not with hardware decoding but atleast to stream from addons and play some divx

My MK802IIIS is working great with HBOGO, and works just ok with my Dish Anywhere....
It is a bone stock unit no roms other than the latest update.
