[I9003] DEODEXING Method If Every Other Method Fails (Without Busybox) - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

This Method Is The method Used By Me For deodexing Gingerbread XXKPE .I used This Method Because I was Not able to install BusyBox (ie The cp command didn't Work.so I was not able to copy the deodexed files to phone .So That the phone did not boot, stuck at the booting time).
Use This Method If Every Method For Deodexing Fails.
Steps
1.) flash to new XXKPE gingerbread Rom
2.) Root Your Phone
3.) download xUltimate-v2.2.8 xUltimate-v2.2.8
Note: You can use the already deodexed files by downloading this link Download Deodexed System Files [COMPLETE] then Goto step 11
4.) Unzip xUltimate v2.2, and launch "Main.exe"
5.) If everything goes well xUlt should recognize the phone and make a connection. You now should see a list of options.
6.) Run option 1. After option 1 is done, run option 2.
7.) Now these well take a while. Run option 3.
8.) IMPORTANT: After you have run option 3
9.) Now run option 4, and wait.
10.) Exit xUltimate, and put the phone in USB debugging Mode
11.) Download QtADB_0.8.0_windows_with_libs.zip
QtADB_0.8.0_windows_with_libs.zip
12.) Open It QtADB (left side - Browse to the xultimate folder, Right Side System folder)

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
13.) copy all the in the done_app folder to the app folder in the phone side
14.) type odex in the filter textbox (phone side) and you will see all the odex files.select all and delete them
15.) copy all the files in done_frame to framework folder in the phone side
16.) type odex in the filter textbox (phone side) and you will see all the odex files.select all and delete them
17.) Reboot
Note 1: Rebooting Will take some time .its due to the new caching of files
Note 2: If Copying Get Stuck At somewere ,NO PROBLEM just Recopy The files Until all files are copied

Forget deodoxed process, and thank you brother for This explorer for windows, and I searched a lot for something like this but didn't find any application.
Thanks....

I think you havent even set up the ADB which is used for develpment & othe management of Android phones
I will provide the link
install the adb and the use Qtadb.exe
How To Set Up ADB/USB Drivers for Android Devices
So most people won’t have to use ADB (Android Debug Bridge) ever, but if you want to learn how or want to get a little more technical with your Android phone, here’s how to get it set up.
I. Setting Up The SDK
1. Download the Latest Android SDK from Google
Android SDK
2. Extract the Android SDK .Zip file to C:\AndroidSDK (this should name the new folder created AndroidSDK in the C directory.
3. On your phone, click Settings > Applications > Development and make sure USB Debugging is on.
4. Plug your phone into your computer via USB cable (it needs to be on). It should say installing drivers if using Windows.
!UPDATE 12.01.09 – If using Windows 7 skip steps 4 and 5 and use this procedure instead.
5. After it installs the drivers, goto the Start menu and type cmd into the search bar (Vista or higher) or click Run then type in cmd (XP) to open the command prompt.
6. Type the following into the command prompt window (hitting enter at the end of every line):
cd\
cd AndroidSDK\tools\
adb devices
browse the C:\AndroidSDK\tools\ as the path whe QtADB asks

The Tool make a flashable Rom with 3 Clicks and Restore the Backup with one Flash and one Click.
The Script restores all Apps, app Data Google Account and Wifi key´s.
How To:
1. Unzip the Alexgalaxys G3 Recovery v2.3.zip wherever you want
2. Plug your Phone in USB Debugging Mode to you Computer
3. Start the Backup.bat
4. Grant Superuser Permissions (6 or 7 times)
5. Your backup is finished
In the "Alexgalaxys G3 Recovery v2 Final" Folder now is a CustomRom.tar.
Flash it as One Package.
If the Phone is started plug the Phone in Usb debugging mode and Run the Recovery.bat after it is complete you have to reboot you Phone.

Does this effectively restore data?
You overcame the bootloop then ?
Why the 3/2 step approach ?
It dont restore the complete /data partition,
if i would do this it would give a bootloop.
It Restores the apps, app data wifi keys and some other informations.
@Bubble-be
If i run the 3 Scripts in only one script it doesnt work.
I tryed to make it one click but it dont work, i dont know why.
And it dont will give a bootloop
So I just studied the files, and it is almost the exact same thing as my backup method, except it is all adb

I saw you reuploaded. Don't even use this code. It isn't needed in any of them. My advice? Delete them
Code:
Call .\adb.exe
or
Code:
Call .\tar.exe
It looks cleaner.
Also, would you like me to create a DOS gui for it?
Ok thanks,
i will delete the codes in the next version
And a gui would be really nice

[TUTO] How to deodex stock rom for galaxy S DUOS S7562

[TUTO] How to deodex stock rom for galaxy S DUOS S7562
In the world of Android, a lot of themes, tweaks and tricks require the need of a Custom Deodexed rom. Deodexed roms are firmwares where the .APK files of the System Software itself are packaged in a way so that they can be modified easily without causing any harm to the framework or the Android Environment.
This tutorial will cover all the steps required to deodex stock rom for galaxy s duos s7562, so that you don’t need to install a Custom Rom yourself!
Disclaimer: Follow all the instructions carefully mentioned in this article, I should not be held responsible in any manner if your Android Device doesn’t boot up or gets bricked due to not following the instructions.
Required :
1. Your device should already be rooted.
2. You should already have Android ADB in your computer and should have basic ADB knowledge.
3. JDK already installed in you’re PC (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7u9-downloads-1859576.html)
4. 7zip installed (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html)
5. Cygwin installed (http://www.cygwin.com/)
6. dsixda's Android Kitchen installed (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246)
7. Busybox should already be installed in your device.
8. CWM already in you’re phone
9. Make nandroid backup (just in case).
10. sgs2toext4.jar ((created by drphrozen) attached
11. DiskInternals LinuxReader (http://www.diskinternals.com/download/Linux_Reader.exe)
Tutorial :
1. Download you’re favorite stock rom
2. Use 7zip to extract it (ignore errors)
You will have these files, we need only system.img.ext4
3. We have to convert it to ext4 format with sgs2toext4.jar
Open a command window and set the directory where you have sgs2toext4.jar file.
Now type sgs2toext4.jar and press enter
The .jar will run in a new window & will ask you to drag & drop the system.img.ext4 file there.
Do the same and wait till the process completes
4.Open the results file with DiskInternals LinuxReader an extract all files in new folder named system
5.Compress the system folder with 7zip (tar and store format) named system.img.ext4.tar
6.Put the file in kitchen folder (in original_update)
7.Lunch Cygwin terminal an cd to kitchen folder and load the menu (./menu)
You have to modify the API from 10 to 15
Look the file in C:\cygwin\home\user\kitchen\tools\deodex_files (api_level.txt)
8.Choose option (1) and do like these :
9.Choose option (0) ADVANCED OPTIONS
10.And then option (11) deodex files in your ROM
Then (b) deodex both folders and then
Take a caffe and be patient, the operation take a time to finish, if all operation finish without problem you will have this :
However, some apks failed to deodex, see the screenshot, for me only one apk failed it’s not very important
To resolve this, go to :
C:\cygwin\home\user\kitchen\WORKING_xxxxxx_xxxxxx\system\app\
and delete the odex apks (you can recognize them by their respective .odex files present in the same folder)
Make sure to delete both apk as well as its respective .odex file.
you can close the kitchen now if you do not want to add more MODs
THATS IT ! you have successfully deodexed both /system/app as well as /system/framework/.
Now to port the deodexed rom do the following :
11.Copy both app and framework folders to your sdcard, from :
C:\cygwin\home\user\kitchen\WORKING_xxxxxx_xxxxxx\system\
12.Connect your phone to computer.(Make sure you have select USB debugging in Settings>Developer options>USB debugging
13.Open Command prompt, Goto folder where android sdk installed. Then goto platform-tools folder in it. Right click on free space in folder while pressing shift key.Select open command prompt here.
Now enter commands. )
14.Enter following codes:
Code:
adb shell
su
stop
mount -o rw,remount /system/ /system/
cp /sdcard/app/* /system/app/
rm /system/app/*.odex
cp /sdcard/framework/* /system/framework/
rm /system/framework/*.odex
mount -o ro,remount /system/ /system/
reboot
(if you are using adb shell in su for the first time, keep phone screen on. After entering "su" code, super user request prompt in phone. Press allow )
who look for my cygwin i used in this tuto
https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B7VA567j483ubnBUMXBvamswN3M/edit?pli=1
just extract it in c:\ lunch Cygwin.bat it will creat your user folder in c:\cygwin\home
then move kitchen folder in cygwin\home to your user folder created
cheers
all credits goes to devs from this great forum

The swipe 3d life x74 tablet development thread!!! ( NOW DEV NOT SUPPORTED )
The really old and boring swipe tablet 3D life x74 tablet is no longer boring now as the root has been discovered.
This tab is pre rooted and has all the binary files setup correctly such as su and busy box
To check whether you have the binary files in the system follow this tutorial.
1) Download and install Xplore file manager from google play ( free)
2) open the app and go to system/xbin and check for busybox (maynot be present) and su (Should be Present). If they are present then the files are in corect order or position.
IF THE FILES ARE NOT PRESENT THEN SEE MY SECOND POST ON HOW TO ROOT YOUR SWIPE 3D LIFE TABLET * IF THE FILES ARE PRESENT THEN CONTINUE READING THIS POST
3) Now we know that the files are present, we install superuser app from google play by chainsdd (free)
4) now install root checker from google play (free)
5)Now open Root Checker and click check root. A popup will come and it will ask for root permissions, so click accept and after this the checker will show root is present. Yay now we have root perms.
6)now scroll to the right side screen and check for busybox. After confirmation you will be happy and you can party
AND THUS WE SUCCESSFULLY CHECKED AND INSTALLED ROOT AND SUPERUSER ON SWIPE 3D LIFE TABLET
Drivers for Swipe 3d life Tablet:-
Download Link
1) First unpack the RAR file
2)Now plug in your tablet
NOTE:- First Switch ON the debuging Mode for this to apply

Tutorials and the tools are not my work, so I don't take any credit. However, the tutorial is come from China. I combine my experience and translate them as much as I can to english.
Instructions:
First, download the root files (at the bottom of this post) accroding to your tablet model (at the back of your tablet) and install the driver in the computer.
Please install in the following order:
1) iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.2.0.exe
2) IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.5.0.exe
3) PhoneFlashTool_5.3.4.0_win32.exe
Pay attention to the following points
a) you must install those driver in the above order
b) Don't change the install location of those driver
c) Close your antivirus software to avoid unknow problem
Then, go to Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging. Enable OEM Unlock and enable USB Debugging Mode
Now, connect your X80 Plus to the computer,
Open a Command Prompt window in "Root X80 Plus H6C3" folder (To open a Command Prompt window in any folder, hold down the shift key and right-click on the folder) and enter the following command
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Press Enter
Wait for the device to enter fastboot mode
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
Press Enter to unlock the oem and enter the following command
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Press enter to flash the kernal, then enter the following command
Code:
fastboot reboot
This command will restart your tablet.
It is normal that tablet reboot 3 to 4 times automatically, just wait for it. (turn on the tablet yourself if the tablet do not reboot automatically)
After your device is on, check that Wifi and bluetooth works or not. (Wifi and Bluetooth may not works with the replaced kernal, just perform a factory reset)
If everything is ok, enter the following command
Code:
root.bat
Wait for the Command Prompt until it stuck at this command, "adb shell su --daemon"
Now, disconnect the tablet and reboot it manuly
After the device was booted up, Supersu already become a part of system app.
Open Supersu now, it will notify that the SU binary needs to be updated. You must need to install the binary once, but you will fail at 100%(unless there is a miracle, and your tablet is root successfully, congratulations)
Close Supersu and reconnect the tablet, enter the following command again.
Code:
root.bat
Now the command prompt should run all of the command smoothly and Supersu should have no message about the SU binary update !!
Therefore, if your Supersu shows nothing (works properly), your tablet is rooted, thats amazing.
If Supersu keep notifing, please enter the following command again and wait for it to boot up automatically until Supersu have no message about the binary update.
Code:
root.bat
Note that this root method are not stable yet
Known issues:
1) Old version of Titanium Backup was unable to execute the SU command
2) LBE are not 100% compatible with this root
Post reply if you have any requires or problem.
Stock Rom for X80 Plus just in case you need them, and the instruction will be translated later

It's updated from play market with no problem.
May be it is my particular problem ( kernel 3.14.37 firmware assembly ver 3.03.20161109) but.....
WARNING TO H6C4 OWNERS! SD Card becomes unusable with this rooting files. Any SD Card after rooting recognized as 0,9 Mb size and you can't access files on it. You can't use SD Card reader too.
Please report if you do not encounter this issue.
Hi.
I'm stuck on "adb push SUfiles/Superuser.apk /data/superuser" command in root.bat
I've done all the previous steps without problems.
Before executing root.bat I have set again Usb Debug and OEM Unlock, is it correct?
Sometimes I get stuck on "adb remount"
What can I check?
Thanks
Woody

I have the stock ROM on USB now, but hè will not install it. When i press the home and enter button and plug the power cable. Hè start up with the MI logo and shuts down, then start up with no screen.
Are there other ways to install the stock ROM?
AFAIK the Stock ROM typically gets installed by means of ADB Sideload method:
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot sideload
adb sideload <FULL-PATH-TO-STOCK-ROM-ZIP-FILE-ON-PC-HERE>

The USB-stick, once plugged into Windows computer, in Windows OS is recognized as a drive: note down this drive letter returned. Then sequentially run the ADB commands listed above.

My drive letter is :e
Didn't think it can be so difficult.
Assumed the Stock ROM's file is located in root of E: drive then the ADB command in your case becomes
Code:
adb sideload E:\<NAME-OF-STOCK-ROM-ZIP-FILE>
where you have to substitute
<NAME-OF-STOCK-ROM-ZIP-FILE>
by ROM's true file name

ah ok. lets try.
It seems not so difficult but, for the first time is everything more difficult
What do i wrong. sorry! I do really my best
1, i have a format 16gb usb FAT32
2. i have install ADB installer.
3. i have download the stock rom (see picture)
4. my drive name is e:
5. When i zip my stock rom file, i got an another zip file, and an file of 1kb
in the next picture is what i do in CMD
anglee_full_9.0.0.1911 is my zipped stock rom downloadfile
the other 2 are the unzipped files from the first file
1st screenshot provided above shows
1. Device isn't connected via USB-cable with PC or, if, not powered on
2. The ROM's archive name you entered is without fileextension -> required :ZIP
If ROM's archive is packed as .RAR file then you have it to repack to .ZIP file
I think it will not gonna help.
When i connect my projector to the pc, the pc dont recognize him.
What i try, nothing works.
but thanks for your help anyway
