[Q] Gingerbread Stock Email .apk with black background? - T-Mobile LG G2x

Hi-
Coming from a Nexus One, the stock email .apk (for exchange email) on Gingerbread has a black background.
On the latest G2x 2.3.3 load (Official OTA) the email .apk still has the white background.
Is there a way to update the email app on the G2x 2.3.3 load to have the black background?

Not yet, maybe one of our devs can create a flashable MOD. Unless you go the CM7 route, you're stuck with the white background. I also wish we can have the default text message app with a black background.

How about for enomther?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Sorry I'm fairly new to Metamorph. I just flashed to Cyanogen 6.0, and downloaded Metamorph. What exactly is the next step, and for whatever reason, is it possible to bring back the STOCK notification bar if I don't like this one?
Hit the unzip/extract new theme button......find the theme......click the XML file... apply all.......done
Doing a Nandroid backup will take you back to stock incase you dont like it or something messes up....If you don't know what I'm talkin' about i suggest you read up on it before you do anything
I don't know if this will work for any other rom but the ones above
Would it be possible to get the battery morph as a standalone? This would look great with a matte black bar.
Can you make the green on the lock screen white as well?

Theme request for Ozemail.apk

I have GC 1.8.5 installed and removed the email app associated with it, installed the Ozemail.apk that is stock on the Charge because I prefer the push email feature. However, it's still themed with the brown and tan ugliness.
I tried using some apk editing software on my computer but I can't figure it out. Can someone do a gingerbread green and black theme for this email app? It would match with my Gmail and Android Market, that would be awesome. I'm thinking about having the top bar gingerbread green, the dates being green, and the rest black with white lettering.
Thank you in advance for whomever can do this!

Gingerbread 2.3.6 mms.apk theme doesn't appear

I have Samsung GT B7510. When i had froyo rom, there were some themes for mms.apk . But after updating gingerbread , the themes have gone. There is no option to choose different themes. When i look at the res fonder in the app i see the different pictures for theme but we can't use it. Is there any way to edit the apk to use this themes? I don't like other messeging apps. Stock app is so simple, and i generaly use swiping right and left to message or call someone who text me. Does all gingerbread roms lost message app theme, or just our phones rom does?
