I'd love to push the GB update however, why should I have to sacrifice my camera for it? Along with the first update being an epic fail followed withme having to get a second device. If we can push the update and some how keep the 2.2 camera capabilities I down! Ready to beta test the whole nine for the cause......just don't take my beautiful camera.
P.S Is it even worth it? I still prefer my G2x over my Sensation

Go to Dev forum and find LG Camera discussion Post 115, someone posted LG Camera Zip that you can flash. The LG Camera works on the 2.3 GB Update.

Sorry if its a dumb question, I'm just curious though because I'm on froyo since I cant stand the gingerbread camera.
You do know that you can use gingerbread with the fryo camera right?
And i dont think anyone knows yet. YOu may get a prompt or you may have to go into tmobile and download the zip uodate file. To soon to tell.

Yeah but it has bugs still. Unless they updated it recently? Last time I checked it was still 3.0 and I used it and ffc was jacked up.
im on stock root 2.3.3 and the ffc works fine for me. I have taken a few pix with it and all seems fine.

@PitbullVMX - That depends on how the OTA is formatted. If they do it correctly it should update from either Froyo or GB, but if they do it sloppy (like LG is known for) then it will update from GB only. But you can always use the LG Updater to update and hope it works without any glitches (OTA updates are safer). Not a dumb questions at all. Actually a very good question.

LG camera 3.0 The one that has zoom, 4 flash settings, and all the setting. Its nothing like the gb camera from my g2. So im guessing its the lg froyo camera. Been using it for a while and havent had any problems
Try the LG Cam from the 2.3.4 build ported from the O2X. That one might work better, I don't know. I haven't tried; I use HDR Camera+.

alos just know that with the way the chain works a couple hours after the ICS update there will be a flashable version of the Stock Ics just like there is a stock zip for froyo and gingerbread
I flashed the LG 3.0 cam the same way I did while I was using Weapon 3.0 on Eaglesblood but I'm getting a force close screen.
Is there a way to correct this issue so that I can use the LG cam instead of the stock cam that comes with the rom?
Which eagle bloods latest cause I'm guessing you are on 2.3.7 which wont work.

What mt3g is saying is that phone cam won't work on cm7 period. It depends on LG libraries that aren't available except on a stock based Rom.

Never mind. I went back to the LG Cam thread and found what I was looking for. And It clearly stated it wont work on anything CM7 based which I forgot.
does the weapon g2x rom supports the LG Camera 3.0 ?

I'm not so sure, but I thought there was an LG Cam in the OP? May or may not be 3.0.
If not, just do a quick search thru the thread.
i updated my phone to 2.3.3 and its camera is totally gone ...now am updated to 4.0.4 still it was not like when i bought my phone ...if anyone has a solution please share..thanks!
You may want to try the new Baseband and 2.3.4. They did some work on the camera and seems to be a bit better. The ISC build's do not have the Video drivers for the camera to function fully.

If on cm7 flash the LG camera modified for cm7, and if on stock the flash the regular LG camera. It's way better than the stock camera.

Theres an LG Cam modified for CM7? I used to love LG Cam that was modified for stock 2.3.3, but now that im on CM7.2 i didnt know there was an LG Cam modified for it. Do you have a link?

Does the Front camera work with it for skype and such? I know when I used the LG cam for 2.3.3 the front cam did not work correctly
I never use the front camera. You can always nandroid, flash, test, then nandroid back if it doesn't work.

So guys,
I've read @ this Forum for long time,
I'm Own a Optimus 3D (P920) since a year.
My Problem that I have is, that non of the Patches for the XBsall ROm Work actually for me,
definitely NONE.
So, here is what I've Done,
hope there is a dumb mistake, so that I can Fix this, and the Patches will work.
1. Flash the XBsall Rom (btw. I've flashed the Darkroom v2 Rom once too, but there is the Playstore broken- But other Problem:laugh:
so I've flashed the XBsall Rom Back)
2. Root that Rom, with the Links here provided
3. Install Custom Recovery - For me I've take the TWRP
Install Root Explorer,
that I can Remove & Add Files to the System Folder...
So, now,
I've load the Cam Fix, which is from Defcomg Thread (Thx. to Him)
It has no matter which one I've Take, none will work....
In Root Explorer go to System/App,
-Rename the Arccamera.apk to Arccamera.ap_
REBOOT
-Copy the Fixed Arccamera.apk
-Set the Rights to rw-r--r--
REBOOT
Start the Cam,
is Still upsidedown
so, doing the Same with the Keyboard from Defcomg Megathread,
go to Keyboard settings, all will work.
set as default Keyboard with no problems,
but when I need it, it will do a Forced Close.....
So, I hope someone can help me,
cause I beleieve I'm to Dumb to do that right...

Yes the 3D Cam is still upside down.. but you can take a photo and in gallery it wont be upside down anymore..

I'm reading in a other thread, that the 3d Cam turns correctly, when im going through the last shot to the Galery and then turning Back, or use the 3d cam instead the normal Camera...
