I'm wondering if we can get the MIUI Camera App to work on CM7 with FFC Support. I can install the MIUI Camera APK just fine, and everything works, but there's no option for the FFC even though I'm using the latest APK. Is there a fix to this?

Why is it so hard to find a camcorder apk which has zoom while capturing? I had it on a previous rom but that was the only thing i miss about that rom. i'm on miui now and loving it but missing the zoom capability. i tried to install the apk directly from the rom zip file but they all fc and those that don't fc don't have zoom. i've been told that the camera apk in CM6 has this feature but it fc's too. any ideas? anyone else in my boat?
Update: I found an apk from the virtuous sense 2.0 rom which has exactly what I'm looking for but it FC's on my miui rom. any ideas?
unfortunately it records in 3gp which sucks because new roms record in m4v and you can see and hear the difference.
if they would just implement zoom in the miuicamera.apk i'd be so happy. (as would many many others)
Many people say, camcorder works with the new CM9 05032012 update (i have tried both devs versions).
When I start recording, everything is ok, but when i wanna stop it, camera app is crashing... I can see the video file, but I can't open it. It isn't playable...
Any suggestion ?
The camera now finally works with cm9 just go to market and download nemus camera it works perfect

Dude, do a research before make a new thread, nothing new from this, nemus camera it's only once of many camera that can work partially on ics cm9 for gtab p1000 (angel camera, silent camera and so on that available on Google play), camera not really fix yet.
This camera app run fine on the Paranoid Android released by alteredlikeness.
Camcorder can record 1080p,no FC or error.
But the front camera only can taking picture,camcorder is not working.
Many thanks to alteredlikeness and other guys bring the Paranoid Android to our Atrix 2.

It works for sure, but very dicy performance, sometimes the recorded file plays back, sometimes it doesn't.. and as mentioned the ffc forecloses.
But nonetheless we atleast have a camcorder that works. :good: :thumbup:

Yeah same here.
The standard Cyanogen Camera app from CM11S works well but it's not available from the Google Play store if you run CM12. You can get it from here http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/cyanog...a-2-0-004-5229c4ef56-30-android-apk-download/
Fixed it, go to see things and switch from 4k video to 1090p.
