LED Flashlight for Charge

Hi guys,
I've just released Tiny Flashlight + LED v3.9.7 on the Android Market. v3.9.7 adds full support for Droid Charge 4G (including a widget). Check it out.

Thanks! This is one thing I realized I would miss when switching phones.

I can't wait to pull my friends over with the police strobe.

Works great on the Captivate and fixing to add it to the Charge. Very well thought out and an impressive little app. Nice graphics work on the caution lights as well.

+1 I had to reflash gummy and when I went to go look for it it was gone! Thank god for titanium backup! So why was it pulled?

I couldnt find it either. I dont know exactly what this flashlight had but I got the app "Brightest Flashlight" from the phone market and it works great.

Don't think it was pulled. I'm guessing that the signature for EE4 hasn't been fully processed by Google's system yet.

Can you do the theme from phoenix rom for heinz 57 (with 2fast's permission of course). It looks so awesome but i just cant seem to stay stable on phoenix for the life of me.

What issue is it that you can't get stable with? As gas's rom was built from the same thing mine is. Along with the fact he has even went to putting some of the same stuff in it.
The only issue as of right now is swype which I know what it is. I just have to get that far.

I dont know bro, I seriously love the rom, but it seems no matter what kernal i run it eventually will have some sort of data sync error and i end up with a "unexpected error" and i have to wipe the data. YOu have any sort of IM? i promise i wont bug you much on it, just easier to describe.

Could there be a fully skinned, fully working gingerbread theme for EE19? please?
I mean, correct colored text, all stocks apps skinned properly (like sms), etc.
I would greatly appreciate it :3

I will upload the gingerbread I have so far...
as far as alot of the text colors I got some...
but man this doubled framework stuff and heinz is a real mess when you get on the inside...its hard to change too much within the framework and get it to still work...
I think it is satisfactory so far...I will upload when I get home tonight...sorry about the wait...finally getting some time off and having some free time to catch up...lol
plus it gives me a reason to get away from da wifey

You do note that the galaxy s gingerbread looks alot like the same galaxy s phone with the themed apps part just the changes in framework make it more gingerbreadish

I would love to have this app again. I had it on the fassy and was wondering if simply acquiring the apk and installing it would work or if I have to wait for crackle to get it to work. Thanks

unless its a phone specific app (like netflix or something which only works on some phones) you should be able to sideload it (install the .apk directly from your sd card) and it'll work fine

If I had the apk I would share it, it is device specific as well

don't know if its the most up to date one but here it is, give it a shot... i don't know if our Charge build.prop files were modified to copy the Nexus S like on the Fascinate, thats how we got around problems like this on that phone

meh you might be out of luck then.. what rom are you running? you may want to pm a dev like imnuts or Kejar or someone with more knowledge of android coding than me and ask whether its possible to edit the build.prop files to mimic a supported phone like the Nexus S so the market thinks you have that phone... I don't know whether this has to do with the rom, the kernel, or the market/app itself

Im good, not a neccessary app. Im running ee4 eclipse. Ill wait until they support the charge I guess

Just change your build.prop file and u can get it straight from the market... Search here on the forum for detailed instructions

I have a Droid Charge and I am running Ginger Bread 2.3.4 (ep1f) Rooted and I have Crackle running on it. Its a little choppy but not to bad. Definitely its no Netflix but heck its free. Crackle is not supported yet I emailed the developer and no response yet but there is other users with same issue.

Xperia Arc Launcher 2.0 with Corners

Just wanted to post this over here for anyone who missed it. It's the Launcher for the Xperia Arc. I did not do any development or hacking to get this to work. Just reposting it here for you guys and letting you know it works great on the G2x! I am running Eaglesblood 2.4. The digital clock widgets are giving me problems but other than that everything else works great.

Corners appear to work fine for me. Just hoping alphabetical setting will stick which it didn't on the old m11 launcher.

Did you make sure to download the correct 800x480 version? It should work, if it doesn't, then it's something either you're doing or that you've done to your ROM previously. I simply installed the APK as an app.

Tried all launchers with corners. Especially 800 x 480. would not install as app

Anyone know how to remove app shortcuts from the corners if you add more than one? Long press doesn't.
EDIT: I'm a moron. Got it. JBoogie used a version of this launcher on one of his Defy ROMS based on CM. I thought it was pretty slick.

I need some theme ideas

So as it turns out I will try my hand at making a theme. I'm pretty get a photo editing and graphics but I want to know is there a theme out there that most people would like but isn't available.

For infinity ive always wanted a stock gingerbread AOSP theme. There are no good preforming roms that have an AOSP look. Just a thought. Good luck with your themeing

Just start themeing for TweakStock. Infinity is going to die since Imnuts' has stopped development on it until ICS is finished. At its current state its pretty buggy and can often be laggy too.
If you do theme just do it for Tweak since its our only ROM currently being developed, and its the most popular so your themes would get more attention anyway.

What about it is buggy? Has development stopped on it? Yes. Has anyone submitted a bug report with needed information? No. The only problem that remains that isn't fixed is the issue with Email for non-Gmail/Google accounts, and I'm not completely sure on how to fix it, but I don't know of any other major bugs.
As for lag, I never had any lag while using it, and no one ever provided any details other than "it lags after using it for a little bit," which is like saying my car gets dirty. 800 different possible causes, but no way to tell what the root issue is if people don't monitor when it's laggy.

Yeah. Ive never really noticed any bugs to speak of. The lag isnt bag even after a few weeks. Its bit laggier but its not a big deal. Hater gonna hate i guess

I've never had lag while running it, a little over a month since the 12/11 version came out... no issues whatsoever for me except the TSM parts not working, no force closes or lag or hotboots... nothing
Imnuts is only one guy trying to do 2 huge projects at once (Infinity and ICS) as well as having a life and another phone (which I'm totally jealous of lol) so give the guy a break and don't complain about the rom
edit: also in keeping on topic I'd like to see a Sense theme (or Sense-ish at least, I IMO think it's a smooth looking polished UI)

I vote for a vanilla gingerbread theme... green and charcoal (take note of the Stratosphere's color scheme)

the AOSP GB theme is the one that people ask me for the most, if that is any hint. My personal favorite is TW4 or ICS themed

yessssss a blue minimal would be sweet
also I know its probably unfeasible but something like what Gummy did, an AOSP-ish theme in standard green or something with different flashable zips for same theme but different colors (maybe a poll to pick say 3 or 4 popular colors)

I actually think that an orange colored theme would be pretty nice.
I think that the orange cwm looks pretty cool. it could be like a higher contrast Charged (red) theme. also, it could have a Halloween appeal. I personally am bored of blue and green themes...
