I had unlock the phone and using DFRouter for tethering.
I changed it to "HTC Modem" and it works fine.
However, it relocked and i cant use the app anymore.
Now Zune cannot recognize my phone and I can not unlock it again
I had try to restore factory settings but the problem still there
someone pls help me solve this problem
now it only recognize my phone as
USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0EFF&REV_0000&MI_01
and USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0EFF&REV_0000&MI_00
can I update the driver myself to force it recognize as protable device?

Having problems installing Leo rom on HTC HD2,whenever I get to the android flasher mode windows 7 does not recognise the phone,I therefore cannot install the rom.really worried now as I cant see a way out.Ive tried disaling usb connection in windowss mobile centre and tried to install as administrator but it still wont recognise the phone.

I have HTC Surround. After i unlock my phone and install the dfrouter, i try to tether, anyway,, after that i select the zune mode and my phone started again. And told me that the dfrouter revoked. So i stuck on modem mode. Please help me,, i read a lot about this situation. Tried everything but no way...
last thing that i am gonna to do is take out the sd card from phone and change the modem drivers with zune drivers manually from pc, If the drivers is not in the phone's memory..
still no solution????

I installed zune 4.8 rtm, mobile device central etc in my win7 ultimate and tried to connect my hd7(7004), though windows can detect my phone as w7 mobile, zune doesnot detect it, hence i cant use chevron. I installed rspl, and even hspl in my phone, all with out no problem. But still zune cant detect it, i reinstalled the above two progrmes 3 times, with restarting my phone and pc, still no way,. Is there any way i can hack my phone other than using zune? Or how can i fix the error. Pls help me

I have same problem, after I upgraded the zune, I could only connected the phone after several boot. My phone was suddenly locked in the evening as my phone was kept unlock in the afternoon.
Hi my phone is stuck in emergency mode. It's an LGp705g. I believe I could fix my phone if only my pc would recognize it. Every program i try to run to recover or reinstall the firmware on it, can never actually connect to my phone. So my question is, what do i have to do to fix the usb connection issue?

I am trying to unlock bootloader on a new htc one x(at&t) that i recently got. I have windows 10. When i connect my device to the computer it recognizes it easily. However, when i boot into fastmode, it doesnt recognize the device at all. i tried updating driver but nothing changed. What should i do???? please help me!

the phone cant be recognized in Win8 or later even the HTC driver installed properly
