Hi all
Found new firmware for my Lumia 710. Tried to flash it with the help o Nokia Care Suite, but the PC started to install new drivers, and driver "Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM" failed to install.
Now, when i try to flash my phone it reboots, gives short vibrate and nothing else. NCS says that it failed to change the mod. Windows founds my phone as flas drive and wants to format it in order to use. And i've to put out the bettery and turn on the phone.
I've alredy flashed the phone twice and everything went ok. Tried to reinstall Zune/NCS/Windows. Changed USB ports, reset the phone. Nothing helps. Tries to change the USB mode from Zune to Serial, tried to flas it in rocovery mode. All the same. Windows says that problems in this drver.
Hope for your help,
vlad

Hello, i want help please, anyone can you tell me how to get odin to detect my phone coz it is not detecting the ohne and i m stuck in d middle of installing ics on my phone.
Restart everything
Restart you phone into d/w mode (if your hardware buttons are working ), restart you computer. Now it should detect.
And while you're in the process of flashing, make sure you the cable doesn't get disconnected.
This happened with me too, I just deleted odin & again extracted it from the rom folder(In every kyrillos rom package you can find odin)...
Just delete the old odin & get a new one, it will work...

Is this the first time you are using odin in your computer ? or your already detected before only now it is not detecting ?
because odin works fine in my computer , but wen i try it in my friend's computer
it did not detect
-> reinstall your phone drivers it might help
-> if i am correct Odin detect your phone only in download mode
Come out of odin and just plug your phone in to the comp, if the comp recognises it then you know your usb drivers are working fine on phone and comp, if not then thats your problem. reinstall drivers.
If it did recognise then the problem is with odin. Theres loads of versions out there that have pathway issues and other problems due to the way theyve been aquired or packaged. try typing "I5800_Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.252.exe" its what i did and mine works everytime.
If i helped, hit thanks
Try with another USB port. It will probably work if you´d try, because I had a similar problem. PC simply didn't recognize my Samsung Galaxy 3, but when I plugged the phone in another USB port, the phone was recognized and so was Odin. But of course it wont go without appropriate drivers.
I had the same problem yesterday and switching USB-ports didn't help. It seemed I didn't have Kies installed so the USB-drivers were missing... After installing Kies everything went fine
hey, I had the same issue.. and what I did to resolve was : I downloaded USB drivers from the below link..installed and rebooted my system..and tried again..it finally got detected..I hope it helps..
link for drivers :

What worked for me was after installing the Samsung driver, I updated the driver from the Device Manager while the phone was plugged in and in download mode.Odin found the phone after that.

Essentially What's wrong:
My phone is stuck in a boot loop, computers won't recognize the usb connection, and my sd card won't mount. My SD card is, however, recognizable if I plug it directly to my computer using an adapter.
What Happened:
I rooted my phone using CWM and Odin in order to remove bloatware and enable tethering. After enabling tethering, my computer stopped recognizing my phone. I tried everything to fix it including factory resetting my phone, formatting cache, data, system, and sd card all under the CWM boot menu (hold volup+home+power). Soon afterwards, my phone got stuck in a boot loop. On startup, it hangs on the white "Samsung" logo. While trying to fix the issue, I noticed that my sd card won't mount.
What I've tried:
I've tried this method, but it requires that I either have usb access or access to my phone. I've tried reinstalling the Samsung driver fifteen times. I've tried formatting the SD card in my computer. I've tried using different computers. I've tried using different usb cords. I've tried clearing the registry on my computer, I've tried scouring Google and these forums for a solution. Maybe I'm blind and missed something.
What I'm trying to do:
The way I see it, I need to figure out a way to flash the stock rom back to my phone. In order to do this, I need to get my usb to recognize. If I can do this, the rest is easy. Does anyone has any ideas on what can be done?

The phone not connecting: I have had this issue before. If you go into the device manager on the computer and show all devices, you can remove all the samsung usb drivers and the root usb drivers from the computer. Reboot the computer and leave the phone unplugged. it will reinstall the main drivers. reboot the phone and hold the buttons to enter recovery, it should still work even while stuck on samsung logo. connect the phone to pc and it should reinstall the drivers and connect properly.

Do you remember at all the name of the drivers that need to be uninstalled? When I plug in my Droid Charge, the computer attempts to install the drivers but it always fails. Under device manager I will then see "unknown deviced" labeled with a yellow exclamation mark. I uninstall that, then plug the phone back in but the same error occurs.
If there are other drivers that I need to uninstall, then I don't know what they're called. None of the devices in the manager say anything referring to samsung.

go to device manager and choose: view >> show hidden devices
then under the usb drivers look for and uninstall the SAMSUNG if any and uninstall the : Generic USB Hub if any, and uninstall USB Root Hub if any, and reboot computer.
THANK YOU
How don't know how I managed to miss this when trying to fix this over the past week+, but it worked. Getting rid of those root usb devices got my computer to recognize my phone, then I was able to easily use Odin to boot it back to the stock rom. Thank you so much. Crazy how such a simple solution can be the answer.

Hello, have tried uninstalling the USB drivers but Windows 10 re-installs these drivers upon restart. My Samsung SM-N750 is still not detected on via USB, and therefore cannot proceed with Odin firmware flash. Do you have any other suggestions? Many thanks.
Please help me... i try to install other roms but after that i cant access recovery mode all i can do is to go to download mode.. the problem is my usb debug is turn off now my computer cant recognize my phone/usb driver... anyone here know how to fix my problem please help me:crying:
First, what phone, exactly from under the battery sticker.
Second, what did you do to boot loop it.
Third, you don't need USB Debug mode to fix it, you need Download mode, which if it boots even to loop, download mode will work.

my phone is samsung galaxy s 4g model: SGH-T959V
I install IceCreamSandwich Accidentally now my phone keep restarting
Yes i can go to download mode the problem is my computer always saying unknown drivers but i got all the drivers i need i read to the forums that when using odin and SDK something like that the phone should be on USB DEBUGGING MODE "ENABLE" so thats why I THINK that my computer cant recognize my phone... pls help me how to fix this thanks in advance
Was having a similar USB driver issue. What worked for me was re-starting the whole process on a different computer. Installed drivers via Samsung Kies mini and that did the trick for me.
Odin never cared if I was debugged on for me..
Odin and the one clicks, that's another story. They don't play nice together on same machine. I would need to revert drivers or completely uninstall & reinstall drivers when switching between. If you're getting Andy & shovel, this is fixable.
My best guess is to use heimdall with stock firmware as I always have an issue with already rooted stock.
