Cyanbread Glowing Blue Top Icons For Stock Rooted Device Help.
see attachment image to further explain what i mean
is it possible to add the blue icons instead of stock green ones
i am running a tweaked stock 2.3.5 rooted, is there any add on or zip or app which can add this theme icons
thanks

You'd have to either use theme Chooser or modify the framework.apk or the systemui.apk (sorry forgot which one XD) and then recompile it and push it over... why not just use a stock aosp rom or CyanogenMod? Newest nightlies are on 2.3.5 I believe...

The text on the status bar doesnt change with the theming. You have to change it manually through the settings on cm6, which is what kangorama is based on. Gala S theme is very nice.
I know that, thats not my problem....this rom wont theme for me....and I dont know why....so NOW Im using Enom's ROM...and now I got what I want...but now I dont have white clock.....i tried editing the services.jar using a post step by step but nuttin change ...ahhh w/e Im tried I dont care anymore lol
Because the adw launcher is custom themed in the rom and its renamed to kowlauncher.apk
Find it..pull it theme it and push it should work then i believe
If not i have no idea cus mine works fine lol
It should work... status bar is in framework-res.apk.
Attach the status bar you want (in a zip file) an I'll make a custom version for you...

Taskbar Menu

Can someone show me how I can personally change my top taskbar menu (if it's possible) and where can I find the themes for it?
Thanks.

It all depends what you're actually trying to do?
Just change a color? Change the pull down background? Add quickpanel toggles?
I flashed my phone back to stock rom and I just wanted the taskbar to look like the octane rom that I was running on before.

You can try pulling the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk from octane and replacing them in the appropriate spots in your current ROM as long as the rom you are on is deodexed. But it may,not work. Or, you can replace the .png files using 7zip and then replace those files with your new themed ones (less chance of fc or bootloop). But the second method is a bit more detailed.

I'm just using octane with my wifi fix ;P

How to change notification slide down bar theme?

Hello, I had a question. In most ICS roms, the developers theme the notification bar slide down menu thing to blue and black(default ICS). I was wondering if there is a way or a flashable zip that would theme it back to stock. Thanks!

Stock as in which colors, blue and black are stock for ICS!! Or do you mean stock touchwiz colors? If you want you can go into the themes and apps section and see if there a them that you would like to flash and that will change it
Any flashable zip would completely overwrite any other theme changes included in the ROM, just so you're aware.

Black status bar for sense 4+

Ok, that was easy.
This worked for me. First im on JB_by_luxandroid_v2 (one s s3). I copied the systemUI.apk to my pc. Added .zip to the file and unzipped it. Searched for status_bar_background.9.png and used gimp to make these all black. Rezipped all the files to systemui.apk and copied back /system/apps using twrp file manager. Restart and all black status bar.

Flashable zip thanks to luxandroid (will also add black boot animation)
http://dl.xda-developers.com/attach.../1/7/0/0/7/5/4/Flashable_black_status_bar.zip
This worked for me. All the tutorials out there say you need to decompile, modify and compile the systemui.apk. I did not have to nor do I know why it worked the easy way. So this might not work for you and might frak up your install (do a backup before trying).
If anyone wants to make a flashable zip or make this compatible with other roms, be my guest. I dont have the knowlege to develop this any further

Hi, I'm using nova launcher with trickdroid 5 s3. HTC status bar annoys me. Would like to get it all black. Would appreciate any help with getting it. The option was before in the tweak packade but that isn't available anymore. Is there a zip to flash?
Thanks in advance.

I did not encounter any zip to flash, but you could try decompiling systemUI by yourself, which I was too lazy for, so I flashed Pacman ROM.
However, you can download ICS Status Bar or Jelly Bean Status Bar by Team Syndicate, they overlay the Sense one with a AOSP one.
Tried the overlay from play store already. Would work fine on ics. Problem with jelly bean is whn you pull down the notifications status bar goes away, but the overlay does not. So that cuts away half of the clock and settings button.
Dont want to have to go back to ics

Didn't know that as I never had Jelly Bean and Sense at the same time Just go ahead and get yourself a decent ROM, and you're fine!
Re: [Q] Black status bar for sense 4+
I would but didn't do my homework before buying and got an S3, options are limited.

Would love this; I hate the ugly gradient look. The guys over on ViperOneS 2 said they would include a mod in their ROM for a black status bar but never followed up............ *sigh*

Just plain flat black.... i love it... the closest ive gotten is setting status bar transparency on home all the way in Viper ROM, either one 1.2.1 or 2.0.0, and having a black bg... But only good on home...
EDIT: I would love to remove the beveled look of the status bar....

I managed to decompile the SystemUI.apk couldnot find the obvious status bar file to modify to black, I assume there are several. Someone know witch png files need to be modified to get an all black status bar?
I have done this a long time ago on HTC touch but it seemd easier back then
been googling for hours, but cannot find clear tutorials on how to edit status bar pngs
ok think I found it. should be status_bar_background.9.png
lets see if I can get this to work with my limited knowlege
I found another way. Probably you saw that you can apply some themes in the "customize" app from HTC. Well, the devs of Virtuous ROM made some more themes for that theme chooser, including a holo-like one with a black status bar!

How to?

Uhhm
How to Theme Framework-res.apk?
like universal Slimbean complete ics blue theme?
i tried to re edit it but sadly it does not align and not all colors shows when i flash it. some of them have the original color and some of them have my modded color.
so do you know how to?
You need to pay attention to hollow theme etc. I advise you to take an already modded framework and replace only what was already replaced there...
