[Q] Which adapter should be use to read usb flash drives/memory sticks?

Hello,
I am a bit confused. I am not sure about connecting usb flash memory drives to xoom micro usb port. People are talking about non functioning adaptars.
So which cable or adapter should i buy? Help plz.

I think the main thing is that it be USB OTG. There is a huge thread somewhere discussing this topic. Based on that thread, I ordered one of these and am hopeful that it will work properly.

The only one guaranteed to work is called the Motorola Camera Kit, and consists of a small adapter (3-4") referenced in the post above. There are others advertised as OTG cables/adapters) but they're pretty hit or miss.

LCD or other issue?

I dropped my phone the other day and when I picked it up I found this. It works 100% correct for the digitizer. Its all just off.

Edit:I got my new lcd. Has new issues. None happen with the old lcd.

you can test your digitizer in settings>dvelopment>pointer location, if you are sure it works and isnt off like in the picture, you can most likely go replace the lcd, but it could be an issue with its cable/pins too

Yes its the same when it boots and when I unlock it I slide across the center of the screen and all the stuff at the bottom like my texting doesn't show there but I click where it normally is to open them.
I also pulled it apart thinking it may be the connection.
Edit:Idk if it makes any difference but the screen shutters up and down really bad.

It's possible that you damaged the CPU/GPU, or if you're luck it's just your LCD. Hard to say until you try replacing it, but it's a very simple job.

I ordered a new LCD yesterday so I will find out in a few days.

Sounds like a connection got shorted somewhere, especially since the shuddering ifs intermittent.

Heh, cool idea. I have a few suggestions though. You know how cigarette burns out and ash doesn't get knocked off? I'd love to see that on the widget. The less of the cigarette the more of ash. And another one, when changing that it glows periodically.

To add to that, when you move the phone, (when the accelerometer / gyroscope / whatever the heck it's called kicks in) the ash gets knocked off.

Tablet wont start after RMA

Ok pretty much what the title said, all i get is this

and the it shuts down, the charger does start the tablet but i get the same thing, odd thing is that when i plug the charger in the tablet, the light doesn't turn on but when i plug the charger in the dock and the dock in the tablet, the dock light is turning on and off the whole time while the tablet light is constantly on, when i 1st time plugged the tablet to my laptop via usb, it booted and it said. "Android low battery server is running" and then it shuts down, i tried to get in bootloader with no succes, i tried every possible volume+power combination, with the same result, some help please ? I dont want to return it again.

Apperantly it turned on after i charged the dock for 1 hour so and then plugged the tablet seems to work fine and charges, but interesting thing the speaker doesnt work, ill try further testing and see, but this thread should be closed, since it now works

[Q] my phone takes 6 hours to fully charge

Hi
I just bought the galaxy s6 dual sim from expansys.com , the phone is great and i loved everything about it
except that it takes 6 hours to fully charge , I tried :
- draining off the battery.
- using another cabel
- rest factory
What is more scary is the website support, they don't answer any of my emails
I really hope i can find a soultion with u guys, otherwise it's just piece of junk
* If anyone knows how to get in touch with the support of Expansys i would appreciate it if u let me know

Help please

Using the charger in the box charges my phone in an hour. When you plug your phone in, does it say fast charging in the notification bar?

It says "cable charging"

If you are using the original charger and cable it might be faulty or maybe the phone port is faulty. Either way you should try a different charger.
Its supposed to say fast charging.

I have my galaxy s4 charger and charge the s4 really fast, but with s6 is the same problem as the fast adaptive charger
