I have an external serial device that comunicate with PC thru USB. The PC sees the USB port as a SERIAL port (RS-232).
I want to connect this device to USB port of my COBY MID-7015, so I can exchange data with this device.
There is any driver or app that I can install so it can work?
My COBY MID-7015 is with Android 2.3.3 now.

I am looking for USB driver for Eken M008 tablet. Manufacturer's site doesn't seem to have it, it has only firmware for the device. Does anybody knows where to get the driver? Without it Windows does not recognize the device and doesn't enable to copy files over USB connection (Google's driver doesn't work for Eken).
Installed recently LG Phone software tool, but when I try to attach phone and update it with that tool, it shows message:
Problem with communication between cell phone and PC
Please disconnect the cable from your cell phone in order and remove and connect the battery.
Power on your cell phone and press the Restart button to resume update.
I also have all usb drivers installed + I can't see my sdcard via usb connect when I use "Turn on USB storage", is there any possibility to fix it?

Install LG PC Suite 4! That fixed the same problem I had.

that LG Suite 4 recognize my pc and I can sync calendar and stuff, but can sync video/photos, becouse when It does, it shows that I have to make sure mass storage is on, I have tested and it is on, but still it says that there is no Mass storage enabled :/ is it that my pc or phone is faulty? or maybe microsd? when I attack microsd itself alone to PC , it works like a charm
i have lg pc suite 4 and it tells me the problem with communication

I am developing an android terminal application to communicate with USB-serial devices.
I have iberry BT07i running ICS 4.0.3 with 3.0.8 kernel. Build number is given as crane_evb-eng 4.0.3 IML74K 20120418.
My tablet is already rooted.
The tablet has usb otg port with host adapter and it powers the usb bus also.
When USB mass storage device is connected, it is detected and I am able to see the contents. Also when I connect USB serial devices like FTDI/prolific they are detected through USB Device Info application in linux mode. But when I came to know from the iberry support that host apis are not enabled in this tablet.
My app need to work in all devices with usb host api support without rooting. Is there a way to enable the host apis in my tablet through custom roms?
