Does it work outside US?
I got an invite someone can use if they want to also. I prefer Google Music personally...
read someone got charged even he was on a trial account
Act with caution.
Check out this thread in the general section

Well...for me I thought there was three levels. One which is free and two which is the paid version that was recently released here. This is not a free trial rather a free service with an option to upgrade.
I do not know how they are charged. I didn't give out any account info, so I am unsure on that part. Was it charged on the phone bill? I'll need some clarification.

If anybody has one to spare I wouldn't mind one.
I signed up on the beta invite list and will start inviting folks in here once I get mine.
too bad its US only ._. no love for canada
I submitted my request this morning for Google Music. I was lucky enough to get in many of Google's products such as Gmail, Wave, and Voice before it went public.
Gmail had 100 invites and Wave and Voice had 5 invites during beta.
I remember Gmail only having 5 invites in beta...
If anyone have a spare invite, I'll be a very happy dude if they could send me one my way. Thank you
I too would really appreciate an invite if someone has it to spare. I will certainly pay it forward as well!
no one has been invited yet (as far as I have seen) there also is no word if you can invite your friends or not. As soon as I get my invite I will post in here with more info.
Well I signed up as well hopefully the invites are out today! I'll give any if I get them and take any if i don't lol. But I think if your one of the first ones on the bandwagon today you'll get an invite.
What is the link for me to sign up your beta?

You can use the music App but you cannot stream music until you are invited to the music beta.
I signed up too, but I doubt I will get it.
It's important to know, they do not give you invites to give to other users. It is request an invite with ur google account, receive an invite. There are scams popping up everywhere to get invites. Sorry, you gotta wait just like me and everyone else. I signed up before the keynote when the site went live. I'm still waiting. Hopefully soon, though.
Has any one got an invite yet?

People can't invite
google posted online that only a select few people will be getting invites to use beta service. you can get app to play music but not service unless invited. they also warned saying that NO PERSON, BUSINESS, OR OTHER ENTITY then Google can invite anyone into beta and to watch out for scammers. saw this on Engadget yesterday so no point in asking people to give you an invite. can only apply on google's site.
Pleaseee!!!! Send me an invite when you recieve one

same here.. I still have invites remaining on the bottom left of my gmail screen. I think we all do?
Hi I currently reside in the USA and spotify (because of the darned record companies) has not made its way over here yet. I heard that if someone invites your or someone based in the UK or other countries where its supported signs you up you can use the service. So being that the community here on XDA is full of surprisingly generous people I thought I would give it a whack and ask to see if anyone could help me I am willing to donate via paypal if someone truly can help! THANK YOU FOR ALL REPLIES
I tried all sorts of proxy methods already and it seems as though they blocked this method....
Can you download the application from the states? I can make you an account.

well thats fine I would like to get a free trial though to start then go from there
I'm on it I'll just fill out some random name and stuff. You can change it yourself later.
Btw, i need your email. PM it to me
I am sorry, but it won't work. Maybe it'll work at first, but the free account only allows you to listen outside the allowed countries within 14 days, after that you won't be able to listen any more. And to pay for the service you need to be in an allowed country, otherwise you won't be able to pay
Yeah, you'll just have two weeks, but that's two weeks of sweet listening
I currently subscribe to Slacked. I like it a lot...for me personally more than iheart and Pandora
In 'most people's humble opinion' this new Play Music won't be as good as Slacker???
But the point of this thread, I subscribed to the free trial
How do I know where it would be billed? To the credit card in Store or to my T-mobile account? I have no idea how to tell
Thank You
Good????

Hey everyone,
Here comes a new game on the Android Play Store!
Cash Button Race is a game where you have to be the fastest to get to the GOAL! Create your free account and reach 1 MIL hits on a button and YOU WIN $100 REAL CASH!
Download:
Mod edit: No paid apps without a free version for xda members - thread closed.
so let me get this straight
100 people buy an app for $2.42x100=$242
and then finally one of us gets $100?
While you pocket the rest?
I am sorry but really??
Mhh i think you wont even get the 100$.. also i think its very easy to make with a vnc server and some windows makros.. or gamecih or whatever.

The game is one time purchase, and there will be 2 or 3 rounds... Depends how many people buy the game.
The calculation is almost right, except Google takes 30% out of each sale, so it will be 2.42 - 30%x100 = $170
Then I give the winner $100 bucks and I get $70... I think it's worth consider the time spent to develop this game.
And if it turns out to be more successful then just this, The prize will definitely go up, but for start, I think it's fare like this.
Best Regards,
Ivan

One thing I hate in life are those SPAM games or ads all over the web!
I am an honest man, and will send $100 dollars to the winner via email as soon as we get a winner!
There is a server security, so gamecih or other 3rd party software won't affect the numbers.
Thank you for your opinion on this westpak, I appreciate it!
Ivan

sorry not interested in kakao, line, or viber type apps. I need to call out to family in a village up in the philippines. Anyone have a list or anything? there are too many f'ing apps on google play and I don't know which one is better. Some seem ok, but have outdated comments.

You need a app that can call landlines basically. There are a bunch of them I've tried rebtel, global call, noble...err i forget the name. I don't know what you actually mean by 'better'. You should try Global Call, its probably the cheapest at the moment, that is if you buy credits.
I did you a favor and found a promotion link they're having from their fb page. Basically you buy an XX amount of credits and you get that same amount back. ( I cant use it since i dloaded the app way back last year). But you can and show your thanks by sending me some credits
Anyways, here you go bro, Global Call bonus page.
When it comes to voip apps, I usually stick to the less popular ones as they need to 'give' more than the popular brands to attract customers.
Sweet man thanks. do you know if it works with wifi? no mentioning of it on the page you gave me. I installed the app but i cant try it out until i purchase credits.

Well, if a computer is involved Magic Jack would be the cheapest. But for calling other phones both mobile and landline, Global Call is the cheapest by far. You should check out their promotion in the link I posted earlier. That is, if you've never used it before, as the promotion only applies to new users.
