[Q]backup battery supply sleeve - HTC Sensation

pretty much as the thread is named.. i was wondering if there is a external bettery pack that you can 'slip' your sensation into (or click on the side, etc due to the side facing micro usb).. i purchased one of these for my iphone
and i found this to be great way of still using the phone as well as charging the battery with better battery life... this would be a great option for me and i would prefer it over the external battery pack i have now where i need to have a cable with me and you then cant really have it in your pocket etc..
cheers

I use the powerskin which very helpful, I say you should get one!!!!
Pro: nice feel in you hand, 1570 mah battery (not the 1900 mah) but it does the job!!!
Con: the button to turn it on can get pressed when the phone is sitting in your pocket, the powerskin is not a backup battery, it made to use the powerskin battery first then the battery in you phone!!!
I was not ready for that type of setup but it does help the battery once you figure that, or you spend turn and the powerskin battery!!!!

Hi, anyone here got the casing like the ip4?
i know that alot of manufacturer did it for ip4 but why not HTC?
even energizer makes one for ip4
i hope desire has some casing like this http://www.iphonefreak.com/2010/10/energizer-announce-iphone-4-rechargeable-battery-case.html
They don't do them for the desire they do a physical bigger battery and a new back case which attacts to the phone as the iPhone is sealed they have to use those type of cases which make the thing really heavy _

Here's a link to a battery on Amazon... Dont know what case would fit with the extra size of the case with the new battery door.
http://www.amazon.com/2400mAh-Li-io...BSUU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1301052691&sr=8-3
Can you post pictures of the phone with the battery and new door in it? That 3600mAh battery is atrocious looking, and I wonder how much better this would be.
Looks to be the same size, just less mah.
I just bought this couple weeks ago and today I went back to my stock battery. The bat life is good but the replacement case is so easy to break or should I say the pins that locks the case to the phone are too fragile.

I got a power skin for my Vibrant back in the day, and it was hideous. And barely charged it 60%, so I felt it was a waste of money.

there not supposed to charge it completely, its supposed to be like an extended battery. and of course, its gunna be huge. but im still not sure about buying one anyways. my phones been on for like 10hrs with 1-1/2hrs screen on time and still at 85% battery

For the added bulk, the lint the case attracted while in my pocket, not to mention it made it hard to get in and out of my pocket, and the cost, nothing less than a full charge would have been worth it. It sucked.

I had a power skin for my Sensation. I loved it. Battery life was amazing. And it didn't look bad either with all the added bulk.

That thing looks hideous. what's with the big nub covering the USB. Is that whet it powers it?.

How else do you expect the power from the case to get into the phone?
For the money, I expect them to use a lower profile connector. It shouldn't stick out that far.

POGO Pins!!!
How about a case this that uses pogo pins?
- 3200mAH and no bulging nubs on the sides. What's best? You can use the MHL connector. Extended battery while using the HDMI connector. Nothing beats that. Period.

As cool as that is, it still doesn't protect the phone. It definitely looks better than the PowerSkin, though.

Replacement high-cap battery door?

I dropped my phone and the custom battery door that came with my hyperion 3500 mAh battery no longer stays securely in place. Any one know where I can get another fat back rear plate?

Try eBay, I've seen the battery cover sold without the battery, alone in like 3 different colors

Yeah, I'm looking for one too.
Can't believe how hard it is to find the covers without the batteries.
Unfortunately, the hyperion (so far awesome part for its ~$10 price) came with a pretty flimsy cover. The clips are weaksauce.

[Q] Which battery should I buy?

Could someone please recommend me a battery that's higher than 1650 mAh but it should still fit in the stock case.
http://www.amazon.com/Extended-Battery-Samsung-Galaxy-D710/sim/B006THW4RA/2
Yes this is a s2 epic battery, but it fits, very tight, so you have to tightly push all sides of the cover until they snap. I've used this for over a year now.

My roommate has this on sgz4g with.simple.mobile. haven't tested for longer battery I assume so unless it's fake marketing which I doubt

My wife and I started using the two-pack when our original batteries got to the easily spin/bulgy state. Similar battery life to the original, as in... way better than they'd gotten to.
