Don't you mean *and* vs. End ... Or is that how you spell it where your from?

Thanks for that!
I wonder why the sensation doesn't get the new market update on it's onw?!

Thanks buddy. I was looking for this lazily.

Thanks, nice to have the new market.

The new market is cool, but aside from myself I have seen others have issues as well. Doesn't always show updates for apps and such.

Only real complaint I have about it is there isn't an option to stop update notifications anymore.

It does, it just shows you the update before it's actually available for download. If you give it like 20min you'll be able to download it;-)

Just a thank you

got my phone last week and with xda's help i have rooted and rom'ed it.(ok ok i soft bricked it a few times.. yeah i'm a noob) All with just reading threads and stickies. didn't even have to post a question. search is definitely the way to go. read read and read some more the answers are there.
thnx for the great stuff i can do with the phone now.
Great. Another thank you thread. Jk. Lol. I waited a lot longer to root because I was somewhat paranoid to ask a question around here because I might get my ass flamed. I don't use the PC for this site because all the crappy ads make it crawl and searching this site on mobile is horrid. I finally got it sorted and rooted without even a minor blip. Which method did you use and what rom are you running?

Ad Block Plus for FF/Chrome is your best friend. I have never seen a single ad on this site nor any other I frequent.
Agree with the thank you to xda. One of big reasons I went inspire over atrix was the amount of support and development here. It's great messing around with your phone and making it just the way you want it. Having a resource like xda is priceless.

New MT4G Dev

Well, first off, I am jellette/Heathen of the Einherjar Dev Team. You will find us mainly in the Samsung sections.
Link to just my releases: HERE
It looks like I will be most likely making the move to the MT4G today as my SGS Vibrant is suffering its second wasted usb port.
I don't have much non-touchwiz experience but I didn't have any TW experience when I started so I don't see it as too much of a problem.
I haven't had a chance to scan through the MT4G forum yet to see the state of development but I would imagine you already have some Kick A$$ devs over here. I will spend the next few days familiarizing myself with the phone, its rooting methods, types of roms and mods available, etc. Then I will dig in.
If there are dev specific requests, please post them here.
I will begin with porting our already available roms and mods: HERE
I'm not, and couldn't even if I wanted to, leaving EDT - we will just be expanding our development to HTC devices.
I suppose that's about it for now!
Welcome to MT4G, I'm sure we will all be eagerly awaiting your work. Good luck with the transition.
So happy to hear we have another DEV.
Welcome and good luck.

Welcome. And with ~1100 thanks and only ~1300 post i'm pretty you pump out some nice work. I'll be awaiting it's arrival.
Welcome aboard it's always nice to have new devs, especially ones with experience.
Glad your here missed your work from the vibrant days. Your roms always kicked butt and were revolutionary in their design. Can't wait to try one of your mt4g roms

Some ideas for rom ports
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040
^Android Revolution, seems to be very popular probably very good
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1115312
^Virtuous fusion unity, based on the official rom from htc pyramid
Maybe you could try a galaxy rom port, since sense runs on sammy phones.

Just getting started. UPS just delivered it, had already ordered it on Saturday. Now, it looks like there isn't a one click rooting method... So I will start looking at the guides to get root so I can get started.

Gfree is safe, it only bricks myTouch 4G's that have the bad eMMC chip. But even that is still all a speculation.

Roms for S-off Sensation

Am I wrong, but they all seem 'less' than spectacular, it's not like getting the buzz from the HD2 after winmobile. I guess I expeted better performance, experience, it's not there yet, but grateful the devs are trying...

1 week is fast enough for us to be developing into a major performance of roms... like kernels new roms being updated quite frequently camera mods boot-animation all that just in a week... i guess it is more than enough items for you to test it out... developing stuff takes time... damn i wish i knew how to develop stuff... HAHAHA
Idk man I'm running Android Revolution and it's ****ing awesome. They've updated it twice in a week. What more do you want?
Hey man always give props to the devs making our device possible !

You can reply all you want assuming there is no flaming. Just send a PM to the MOD they will move the thread and the creator gets an infraction, assuming i read the post correctly.

I for one think you're wrong if you're asking? great thread though.
I think you droidskulls missed my point...S-off has been out a week and my point IS, that there's been no time to HONESTLY develop a better rom... Oh and I've probably owned more phones and probably have more kids than most... I stand by my post, the Sensation roms at the moment are not ready...just my opinion...and I do appreciate folk developing these things...

I wanna says thanks to all of you, I only use the search button and this is my first

good luck with your sensation, and may you flash many more roms
Welcome to XDA, to the world of smartphones, and mobile devices. Also thanks for following the rules and using search.
I know what you mean.....just searching gets you almost if not every information you need. Just like you i followed the guides in the different threads and all went well.
One warning....once you start flashing you can't stop it's like an addiction
Have fun!

+1! Welcome to this great community! Just a tip though, DO NOT USE TASK KILLERS! If you want to terminate an app just swipe it away from the recent apps menu ( long press home button ) or use HTC's task manager! But the best way is to let Android manage its memory! Anyway welcome to the Sensation! It's a great phone and xda makes it better! Have a good flashing ! Cheers!

Why is it "not fair"? The One S was released on April 25th, almost 2 weeks before the One X was released. Not to mention they pushed it back from tomorrow to June 4th so it's still possible we could still get an update first.
