Yeah got mine free as well here. I pay 30euro per month with unlimited 3G. I don't use call/txt much anymore so I have no idea how many of that I have, lol.

don't worry. I'm sure they'll run the special again.
just keep checking the midnight deal.

i sold my sensation for $400, now im getting one again cuz even i had just upgraded im eligible again to upgrade. been having since my last two phones. lol.

Yeah, thankfully, I suppose, I got it for "free" from T-mobile on their midnight special right after I lost my fully Android powered HD2 for the last time. Unfortunately, I still have to pay the $200 cancellation fee on the new line I added to my account in order to get the phone. Still, I really think that $200 is the cheapest anyone could get this phone with no contract whatsoever.

Be careful, they might charge you a handset recovery fee on top of the termination fee. Not sure though.

That's how i got mine ...well,not excatly.I intially bought the phone thru Wirefly, then i saw the web special(was still in the 14 day period).I decided to take advantage of that offer,so i added a second line.I got the Sensation from tmobile.com,then cancelled my first line and returned the first phone to Wirefly.
I paid $0 in shipping since both Wirefly and T-mo.com had free shipping.they even waived my activation fees.It was a bit of a hassle, but at the end it saved me $150.well worth it IMO.

i have an htc aria but a friend of mine has the inspire and i really like it im in between jobs at the moment and was wondering if anyone knows where i can get an inspire for cheap any help would be greatly appriceated
depending on where you are in your contract with AT&T, you might be able to get one for as low as $59, depending on the reseller and if they are willing to use part of their commission to give you a discount for a two-year renewal. If it is too early for you to qualify for a discount on the upgrade, try Amazon, eBay or Craigslist.

no contract is 399, which is incredibly cheap for a phone full price. i'm tempted to buy this every day because of its 399 price tag. other devices are 550-600 for the same quality phone.
your other choice is craigslist or ebay. great deals exist.

G2x for $149 or less as an upgrade

This forum helped me a lot answering my question so now it's time for me to contribute a little to it.
I don't know about new activations, I'm just talking about my case which is an upgrade and I've been with T-mobile for 5 years already.
My contract has ended for a while so now it's time for an upgrade and I waited for this fone as the GS2 takes too long to come out. So I did a little research online and found out that I can match the price of this phone (currently $199 after mail in rebate on Tmobile website or store) with Wirefly's price at $149 using a promotion code "courtesy" when calling them.
First, don't talk to a regular representative, they have no power to reduce the price, ask to talk to Customer Loyalty, and insist on it if they refuse to transfer u to them. Then just tell them that a friend or other people can match the price with Wirefly. In my case, they even lowered the price to $103 after taxes and shipping, no rebate watsoever. I have a 3 lines family plan with them, I don't know if it helps, but for the price, it's great compared to other people that have to buy them at $149+tax. I'm pretty sure some of u got the fone for free, I don't know how u guys did it, please tell us how.
I got it free Cuz they. Screwed me over on data for 3 months... and they sent me two broken vibrants as refurbished ones..... I was in the process of canceling when the manager came on and offered two new phones I got this one and saving my next free one for sgs2 if it comes to T-Mobile. I have two lines and only been a customer for 11 months. Just gotta know how to talk to them

Wow, that's a great deal u've got. But ur case is very special cuz they screw u up. At least u got a really good deal on the phones. I guess because I'm not born here in the USA or else I'd get a better deal than that, lol
sorry to bump this but it sort of goes along with my question
on october 27 i'll be eligible for my 22 month upgrade, but can i upgrade earlier and still get the phone for $149? when i'm logged into mytmobile account it shows that the g2x is $149 after rebates but since i'm not exactly eligible to upgrade, would i still get the rebate?
basically i can't stand my current phone anymore and i don't think i can wait a month and a half haha
Go through the checkout and see. You probably will only get a partial discount. I suggest waiting it out to see what the nexus prime is all about...

i'm going to try it, i'm just not sure if upgrading early will affect my contract price in any way. and i just looked up the nexus prime a little bit and found this "It’s said that the Nexus Prime’s screen could be as big as 4.65-inches." that is way too big for me

Ouch... Good point. I like 4" and would settle for 4.3" but no higher.
As far as upgrading early, it will just start your new 2-year contract from the date that you actually upgrade, not an extension onto the end. At least that's how my partial upgrade was a few years back. If you have 2 or more lines and can stick it out a while longer, T-Mobile's new $99/mo unlimited for 2 lines is awesome if they're still running the promotion. Unlimited calls, texts, and 2GB data for each line (throttled after 2GB). But it requires that you're not under a contract when you sign the new plan or there are some pretty hefty migration fees. Just food for thought.
Got mine at CostCo as a 2year contract upgrade for $149, then they sent me a $50 gift card, so $99 out of my pocket. Later they had it for $79 out of pocket.
i'm about to order it soon... it will be $149 with mail in rebate so i'm happy with that my g1 was more than that when i bought it haha

HTC Sensation Special

Recently I've been thinking about getting the HTC Sensation or the MyTocuch 4G Slide. I haven't had time to get to a store to check them out yet. Which do you think is better? I found a 10% T-Mobile discount online which would help too. It says "Switch to T-Mobile and also save 10% off monthly recurring charges, plus get your initial $35 activation fee waived and FREE 2 Day shipping". Has anyone heard of this before?
Do you know if this is only good for new customers?
Sensation man! As long as you don't get a dud. on my third handset but it's finally flawless.

This is for student only. If you are a college student, you may want to check if your school has an even better contract with t-mobile than this (ask your school, not t-mobile, or search your sechool webpage)
My school has 15% off, and the rest of the offers are the same. Not wanting to wait for it to ship, I printed out the offer two weeks ago and brought it to a local tmobile store. They did the price match after confirming the offer on the phone with someone else.
I was curious about that. This deal says you just have to be a member of the site studentrate for the discount, and since you don't have to be a student to be a member, I was thinking you'd still be eligible.
Mytouch sucks & Sensation is the best thing out till the Hercules/SGS2

Ok sweet, thanks.
I'm thinking the mytouch slide because it has a keyboard. I'm worried I'll have a tough time texting with the touch screen on the sensation.
I was using the myTouch 3G Slide and thought the same thing. I've always been weary of full touch-screen phones without a keyboard, but with the Sensation's larger screen size texting on-screen is a breeze. Go with the Sensation.
I guess I could always return in before, what is it 30 days? If I don't like it.
Can you get this same discount/deal in stores?
I used to run a Desire Z because I was leary of the lack of a keyboard on most other phones but I got the Sensation recently because I wanted a solid, one piece, device and the screen on the Sensation is big enough, though it still does take some getting used to.

I don't think so, not the same one anyway. If you click on the link I posted it says you can get it by calling that #866 number or there's a link for the T-Mobile online site
I got my Sensation thru Target online for $99...and only a $18 activation fee.
I looked the other day and it was now $119.
Hope this helps.

I don't think that's the point at all since they're going to get returns specifically to trade for the SGS3 (and I'm sure they're aware of this). I do wonder though, if the SGS3 were available today would it be included in the sale? Probably not.

Call 611, say contract at the prompt, and then when they ask what's wrong tell them you just 'extended your contract' but now notice that the phone is available for less than what you paid for it. You'll be with retentions/customer loyalty, and they have much more power; they might even give it to you for free depending on your customer status.

Where'd you buy it? Some places have longer time limits than others (Costco has 90 DAYS to return/exchange, I only buy from there now!). Either way, do the 611 thing that was suggested above. If that doesn't work, do a full return then rebuy it for the discount. You have at least 7-14 days through tmobile for a full return.
The keyword for this deal is "new activation". I just called and asked them about it since I was due for a full upgrade and they told me that I would have to pay the $200+ price and that I could only get the $30 price if I added a line.

Get on with customer loyalty, they'll probably give it to you for free (or you can try for a GS3 if you want as well). As long as you're polite but also stick to your guns when talking to them, they'll usually give you what you ask for.

The HTC One S is a pretty excellent deal all around on T-Mobile at the moment. Almost free w/ a 2 year contract extension and dirt cheap on craigslist in my area. I was about to pull the trigger and pay out the nose for a new Galaxy S III off contract but happened to see an HTC One S on craigslist for $350. Bought the HTC One S (tax free!), ordered the new Nexus 7 tablet with the money I saved, and called it a day.
Will try the customer retention script suggested and will report back the results.
Thanks for the suggestions.
