It's exactly the same as the Prash's Boot Animation (in CM 5.0.4.1) except that the cross is bigger.....

And this is not an update.zip. You need to push the bootanimation.zip file to /data/local

Bigger as in full screen for the N1?

I just downloaded the file, and I dont know where to put it?
I use a mac so all I see when I click in the device is Android, DCIM, Dictdata, Media, mnn and Music....

Can we get someone to make this a update.zip

This is NOT a live wallpaper. This is a boot animation that you can see when you boot up your phone.
I don't know how to make a update.zip, can anyone tell me how to make it?
if you are using adb, you need to type
adb remount rw
adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
then the boot animation will show up when you reboot your phone.

Plug your phone in, run adb and just push it. it's easier than an update.zip anyway.

I have made a theme for you all to enjoy.
It's my first attempt, so please be nice and honest with me.
Anyways, it's not too out there and flashy (I found the themes which are very colourful to be awfully annoying and so tried to keep it simple, but nice

Yeah, it works better if you flash it through the recovery menu, just copy over the xip to your SD card, then go into recovery and say install zip from sd card, navigate to the zip, and install

Loss of BootScreen/Splash Screen

Hi,
A friend by making the root of his SGT2 P5110 does not have any more BootScreen/Splash Screen Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1.
How can I recover it?
Can you explain me the way of doing it or can you make me a zip.

If you can find the zip somewhere of the stock bootanimation, then just rename it to 'bootanimation.zip', go to the root of your sd card and in there put it inside the 'media' folder. It would work with any boot animation, you only have to rename it.

You could try reflashing the bootloader by restoring to stock in ODIN.

[SPLASH]Custom Splash Screens

Custom EVO 4G Splash Screens
Hey guys I just took a dive into making splash screens for my Evo and I figured I'd make some for the XDA Community, so here they are. I made them in different colors according to taste.
How to Install
To install: rename the zip with the color of your choice to PC36IMG.zip, put it on the root of your SD card, then turn off your phone and hold the volume down button, and power it on, you will see a white screen, select bootloader and press power, then wait as it scans the SD card. It will prompt for an update, press VOL UP to confirm. Then press VOL UIP again after it's done to reboot.
Requests
I will be taking requests for custom splash screens, I may be a bit slow at it because I am in school so I'm pretty busy. Anyway just post a reply here or PM me if you want a specific image and color and text.
NOTE
I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. Happy flashing.

[MOD] Offline Charging Battery Mod.. :D

Hey guys,
I was getting kinda bored with the default charging screen,
The default icons are only Greyscale, and our phones are far from Black and White screens,
So i thought of making use of the screen that can display 16M colors!!! ​
This is not entirely my work, and i would like to thank the creator of the original images which i have heavily upscaled, and modified to a great extent...
Root Access Required!!​
Instructions:
1. Download the attachment from the link below.
2. Extract the .zip and copy its contents to your mobile storage
3. Copy the .png files and paste it to "/system/etc/chgicon" by any app that supports Root File System access and set all images permission to "rw-r-r"
4. Turn off your phone and plug in wall charger and see the effect....
