I need a new vibration motor with mic, headphone jack and speaker. - Samsung Infuse 4G

My vibration had burned due to overclocking too much my phone was overheating and one day one of the vibration motor cable had burn.. Now i dont want to mess with the little cables and stuff like that so i just want to get the whole part. Does someone have one or know where to get it please let me know need it asap

I think that is a poor diagnosis as to why your phone is broken.
Do you keep it in a case? How many times have you dropped it?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk

Just a guess, an Adult store? They's got vibrators. Oh my, I crack myself up.

Well yeahh i got case on it and i have dropped it a lot of times already. I can upload one pic more where there is a black spot on a cable like its burned or something

Umm gee "insert att rep name here" I dunno whats wrong with my phone it just has no sound and dosent vibrate...
Of course after its retutned to stock unless you bought outright.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App

The phone is already costumized and i think it was my fault with the vibration motor that i have accedintely burned it by overcloking it too much. Theres no problem with no speaker the ringtones work perfectly and i did returned to stock and vibration is still not working.

Vibrate is getting progressively WEAK

Hey guys. This phone has been great, but now I've just started noticing this problem. The vibrate is getting progressively weaker. You can even "hear"/notice it when, let's say, the phone is ringing, the vibrate will sort of "level" down.
I downloaded an app to test vibration, and it seems to be random and getting weaker. Also, when the phone rings, sometimes, while vibrating it will "hiccup".
What is causing this? Battery? My phone is perfect except this. I REALLY don't want to go back to stock and have to return the phone.
What rom. And kernel are you using? I thought I was having the same problem but it was because I was undervolting

Absolutely no undervolting here; I can tell you that with 100% certainty. I'm using CM7 with default kernel.
At one point I DID mess with the LordMod kernel and install a UV script, but after that I didn't like it (it wasn't smooth as CM7 kernel default), so I did a nandroid restore to an earlier point when I wasn't using it, so I assume the entire system including kernel included was restored.
Yeah your kernel was restored too. Hold the volume down button for 3 seconds. How weak does it feel?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
It vibrates, albeit weakly, and vibrates sort of "rough". It even skips while vibrating. Sounds like it's missing (sort of like when a car engine misfires) .
how do you take vibrate off in all settings I thought I did but when I answer the phone it will vibrate and when I use the calculator
Maybe it needs a tune-up?

It's getting more ridiculous. It sputters like a car that has bad spark plugs (analogy).
I contacted AT&T and they are shipping me a replacement. I will report when I get it.
I had a similar problem with my Atrix except it was the keyboard and haptic feedback that was completely giving out. I hope my Inspire doesn't start acting up, I got it off Craigslist not at&t
Sounds like hardware. I.e , the the little motor that spins the little off-center weight that results in the vibration might be going bad :-(. Hope I'm wrong.

Update: got the replacement. The replacement works perfectly. It is definitely a hardware issue.
So anyone in the future who has this issue, get your phone replaced!!!

Phone screen turning on repeadly

I am on Hellfire sand witch 1.6 Just wondering my phone will be sitting there and for no reason I am aware of it will awake or the screen will turn on and then go off over and over. At some point it will stop. It has happened while on other roms as well and on other g2x phones I have. Is there a reason why this is happening or am I doing something wrong or setting something wrong?

is it plugged in?
sometimes if your charger is not putting out the right voltage, the phone can switch between USB and AC which causes the phone to wake up for a second on some ROMs.
also, how does your power button look? (not broken, or really dirty or anything)
All looks fine and it happens when it's not charging. I'll have to keep an eye on it while charging it. The phones work fine they just do this every so often. I was not sure if It was a setting or something sence it was doing it on a couple of phones I have. Maybe it's just the nut behind the steering wheel is loose. I guess I'll figure it out sooner or later thanks for the info.

my gf's HD2 used to do the same thing after she dropped it pretty hard and it landed on the lower right hand corner
Maybe there's a magnet too close to it...
But nah I have no idea why it could be doing that other than hardware problem.
Thanks for the suggestions. The phones all work fine but I will check on if I have it near a magnet when I see it doing it again. I guess It's just one of those things.

External loud speaker volume lower then normal! Help.Battery getting low..

Hey guys! Tonight I just noticed that my external loud speaker sounds really weak and low. I have it turned all the way up and its low.. I know my battery life is in the yellow with 21% left. Does the phone lower the volume when battery gets to a certain point? This phone has been flawless. Now I'm afraid it has a problem

I think the obvious thing to do here would be to charge your phone and see if it goes back to normal. Agreed?

Agreed. Lol. But I just did a google search and found several people complaining about the same thing. They said the phone was working and loud speaker was fine. After a few weeks the speaker was really low.. They restarted the phone, and it was loud again. But after a few days went back to being low. Maybe software issue?

Hello,
Only the loud speaker is affected? Headphones work fine?
Do all types of sound have the volume problem, Calls, Videos, youtube, Music? Does your ring tone come out at full volume?
Do you use google nav or any other similar app that outputs commands and such through the loud speaker? I ask because I read somewhere (maybe here on xda) that people were thinking it was maybe due to such apps.

Ok so today I found out that the volume does not change with the last 3 or 4 pushes of the volume up button, it does not increase. Nor the same for lowering. It's like its stuck at 60% volume. What do I do..? Return it for a replacement or stick with it?

I have the same problem, only noticed it the other day when I decided to play some music the volume was really low on the external speaker so I decided to make a phone call and the volume seemed low in both the earpiece and external speaker so out of dumb luck I decided to restart the phone. Volume got louder in both but eventually got lower again after a few days. Also, noticed that the external volume doesn't seem to change with the last 2-3 clicks up or down.
Hoping this is a software issue since otherwise it works great, don't really want to return it and possibly get one with other issues.

This is the exact same problem I am having now.. I too noticed that the ear volume is low as well. I did restart the phone. It worked good for a day. Then same thing. I too am like you. Hopefully there is a software fix for it. I called at&t. They said That HTC handles the tech support for the HOX. Maybe you should call them too and complain. If they hear it from someone else, it might be good.

I did talk to HTC Tech Support and was told there's NO Issue with the volume on the device and was given a number for Repair which I haven't called yet.
And yes, it's last about a day then it gets lower.
it has to be a software issue, im experiancing the same thing. got a replacement today because of it, and when i was in calls it sounded like i was in a tunnel? no case on the phone.

I've noticed a very similar issue with my One X. I keep my phone at full volume and every once and a while the volume from the back speaker gets a bit quieter. Nothing seems to fix it, except for rebooting the phone.

Vibrate on Max causing loud buzzing

I have had no issues with my phone so far, but just recently I noticed if I have vibrate on Max it will buzz. Used to not do this and I have re flashed my rom and it still buzzes. I have taken off the back cover as well as the case to see if the vibration is coming from either of those which it does not seem to matter if it is on or off. If I turn the vibration down 1 notch, it obviously vibrates less and it does not buzz. If anything I think that it would be covered under the Samsung warranty, as is hardware failure if I determine that it is not software. Has anybody else had a similar problem? It's kind of annoying that I have to turn down the vibration. The phone is ssolid otherwise. Has anybody had experience with Samsung customer service and how willing are they to fix something like this if at all?

Why go thru samsung? Call verizon and tell em its making a really bad vibration noise and they will next day air you a replacement. Or just tell em its randomly rebooting and you have done a factory reset already

The refurbs are visually okay so it wouldnt be dinged/scratched. The internals who knows what they do to "refurbish" them. My last refurb only has 1 issue, the back cover wont click in all the way on the corner so its not flush. Kind of annoying but I knew I would get use to it. If your refurb phone has a scratch or ding just call em up and have em send another, which they will.
Also if you replace your phone I would odin back to the G7 build and then take a ota. That way you wont have that stupid custom icon on boot. Also make sure you havent tripped ur flash counter, you can see that in download mode. If it is then search triangle away on the fourms (its free for xda members) and run it to reset the counter THEN odin to a stock image.
What do you mean I'll see it at the bootloade r? I didn't see anything there that indicated it had been tampered with

Had this issue on ics . In the other ROMs i noticed that the volume becomes very less after some time ( not mute though ). Reboot as usual fixes it.
i also have similar issue. sometimes audio doesn't work in music player/games. then i pause the player/game, go to home and increase phone volume using vol. up key. it usually fixes the issue

My guess is you have lint stuck in there. If you keep your phone in your pocket, especially with jeans and similar materials, lint tends to find its way into the jack. I get this all the time, and audio cuts in and out, and you sometimes have to force the plug in hard to get it to work at all. Turn the phone off and pull the battery out (really, do it) then bend a small paper clip so it is strait with just a little hook on the end, and carefully use it to pull the lint out of the jack. A bright light is helpful in the process. If I am right, you will be amazed at how much you can pull out, and if you get it clear it hopefully will work again.
I found out if you have your ringtones to vibrate or mute, the sound will stay working. So in other words, keep your phone on either and you'll be good . It's something to do with JB. I did some searching and came across a thread somewhere on xda saying it's something with custom JB ROMs across all devices, even nexus devices. What happens may vary, but in the end JB has audio issues

Yeah. I had the issue for the LONGEST time, now it is working fine 24/7, like I have all sounds working no problem. If it starts doing it again, I'll post here to let you guys know. If it doesn't **** up again, then all I can say is for anyone who get the issue, just stick to vibrate only for notifications and your other sounds (music, etc) will work fine.
I don't know if it matter's or not, but I am running the PAC-man ROM, the most recent v4 6/12/13. It might even be something with the default notification sounds being used. I am using sounds for my notifications from Zedge.
