StarDroid ELF v1.0.0
Click here for a youtube review
Version 4.0.1 is fast and stable with increased battery life and revolutionary performance tweaking methods all of which are handled within the boot.img itself, bogomips rating at 1.31mhz OC is 1955 almost double the stock RUU 2.47.502.7. This ROM is designed specifically for the HTC Inspire, unlike many other ROM's which are customized Desire HD or ported from other devices. yes there are a few bugs I'm Sure. Please report any bugs back to this thread so that I can look into resolving them for you.
I'm placing this note here so everyone can see it: IF YOU DOWNLOAD MY ROM VIA Rom Manager that is fine, BUT do not allow or use Rom Manager to install it, once the download is complete just reboot your phone into recovery and then do the full wipe and then choose install from sdcard, browse out to where Rom Manager stores its downloads and choose the rom there. Apparently Rom Manager has some issues with installing Roms although I have never had a problem with it at all.
There are several Custom Roms build from the new RUU 2.47.502.7 so we have choices and flavors galor, outside of major issues I don't believe there will be any additional full builds, I will release patches ands mods/bug fixes as they are made available. I will continue to support this release for some time.

What is clockwork recovery and how to use it
If you are having problems installing my ROM's try the steps below, this should get you up and going.
1. Reboot into recovery and do a "Wipe data/Factory reset"
2. Go to the Mounts menu item and choose to format system, data and cache
3. Choose "Install Update from sdcard", browse to where you stored my ROM and select it.
4. REMEMBER!! if you are coming from any other dev's ROM you must do a full wipe including the data partition before installing my ROM. You must also have ext4 recovery 3.0.26 or above. DO Not flash the NoSense rom over the top of the Sense rom do a wipe first.
Recommended Radio 12.56.60.25P_26.10.04.03_M
If you want the HTC Twitter and 3D widget download the addins zip attachment and flash via recovery.
How to Unlock your APN SettingsDownload the "Unlock_APN patch from the attachments and save it to the root of your sdcard. Reboot into recovery and flash the patch. reboot your phone. Your APN settings will be unlocked for editing. HOWEVER, if you select the "Reset to Default" menu button it will revert the settings to default and lock them them down again, if that happens just reflash the patch.
Mods and themes will be listed in the second post.If you have mods or themes that you have working on my ROM and would like me to add them here PM a link and I'll include them here. the only stipulation is that you need to make sure you let me know who created it if it wasn't you so we can give proper credit to the ones who did.

How to use the built-in OC_Daemon
Thanks goes to mike1986 for the instructions
Thanks goes to the Virtuous Unity team for the Daemon
1. Uninstall any overclocking tools like SetCPU, NoFrills, etc.. Do Not use SetCPU it will cause problems with the boot image on my ROM
2. With new OC Daemon script the defaults are as follows:
wake_min_freq = 230400 (230 MHz)
wake_max_freq = 1075200 (1.02 GHz)
sleep_min_freq = 230400 (230 MHz)
sleep_max_freq = 537600 (538 MHz)
wake_governor = ondemand
sleep_governor = conservative
You can leave it like that. Our early tests proved, that such default configuration is very good for both battery and performance.
3. But if you decided to change the frequencies for some reason, it's very simple to do.
3a. With root explorer go to system/etc/virtuous_oc and open one of the files you want to configure. You will see:
wake_min_freq = setting minimal frequency for device while it's awake
wake_max_freq = setting maximal frequency for device while it's awake
sleep_min_freq = setting minimal frequency for device while it's sleeping
sleep_max_freq = setting maximal frequency for device while it's sleeping
wake_governor = governor for device while it's awake
sleep_governor = governor for device while it's sleeping
3b. To change frequencies you would need to know the frequencies table from the kernel. The frequencies table from ROM's default kernel:
122000 | 230400 | 460800 | 537600 | 614400 | 691200 | 768000 | 844800 | 921600 | 998400 | 1075200 | 1152000 | 1228800 | 1305600 | 1382400 | 1459200 | 1536000 | 1612800
3c. If you are using different kernel, f.g. LeeDroid's one, you need to check the frequencies table manually. Do it by typing it in any terminal emulator:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_frequencies
3d. Now when you know which frequency you want to use, edit proper files in virtuous_oc folder, save it and reboot. Done!
I do not recommend changing governors. Don't use SmartAss governor with new OC Daemon. I recommend leaving default governors.
4. However, if you do want to change them run this command in a terminal window to see a list of the available governors for your kernel.
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_governors

Another rom!? I'll be sure to try this one out too

Correct me if I am wrong, but this rom also properly brands the Inspire and gives device specific audio fixes, GPS configuration, H+ icon and the 5 bar antenna.

You are absolutly correct, it also includes the correct gps.conf file as well. Check it out im sure you'll like it. remember do a full wipe first and this is an ext4 rom so you'll need clockwork recovery version 3.0.2.6 or above.

Hey nice to see you here! I plan on trying this ROM, hopefully this weekend.

I have had a decent run with it so far. The only thing I have had to do was to take the voice dialer apk from Inspired Ace and install it.

Hi. Is this any less laggy than all the other 3.0 roms? Thanks. Downloading now anyway

I believe it performs admirably compared to others, I have made some unique changes to how the performance tweaks are handled so i believe it is more stable and smooth. but try it out let me know, remember thats the beauty of it if you don't like my ROM there are several out to choose from.

hmmmm, Voice Dialer? possible i missed that one since i don't use voice recognition. i'll add that to the list of possible enhancements for the next version.

Another rom to test out. Thank you and best of luck with your rom.

Is there a preferred or recommended radio for this fabulous sounding ROM?

Let me know your thought's, I'm considering removing it from Rom Manager it seems to be getting good reviews here but bad reviews from the Rom Manager users so i'm a little confused.
These are my first ROM's so this is a learning experience for me and so far its been fun.

In my market, east Portland, OR., it's as stable as the 6.30 "AT&T OTA" radio, as it is known. They are both giving me good results at least as far as data speeds, GPS, and general performance. I don't do rigorous battery testing so if people have issues with battery life versus either of those two radios it's not in my world. I plug in a lot .

I've been using your ROM for a little over 5 hours and its pretty sweet. I've had some minor issues with WiFi after a boot but if you uncheck and recheck it connects.
I came over from LeeDroid's rom, any chance you can make a full quick settings menu with media volume and all that extra candy?
Also I notice HTC sense facebook widget was MIA... Any particular reason for that?
Awesome ROM otherwise dude... Keep up the great work!!

I can add the HTC facebook widget back in, i took that along with a list of other fluff out because it was really more of a personal preference for me. i also noticed that the htc widget didnt seem as realiable as the regular facebook widget that you get when you install facebook from the market.
i'lllook into adding the full quick settings versus what i have. should be relativly straight forward
i have also noticed the wifi issue thought it was resolved with the new kernel from klquicksall, but guess not for my rom. since i havent ever messed around with the kernel i may have to find a different solution for it.

Editions:
Standard (with third party apps and few customizations like additional keyboards.
Lite (Completely Stock, with updated system applications and features like VPN support etc), and A2SD
The main feature of this pure HTC Sense Rom is the stable Data2SD that is built in
In case you didnt already know, the Desire's Internal memory is severely limited (A maximum of 147 MB. Within no time, you will be asked to remove your favoite apps to clear space. Earlier implementations like A2SD, App2SD+ are all imperfect, and everything will never be moved. Even MTD partitions are limited.
With Data2SD, you decide the amount of Internal memory you want!
As a side effect, you get faster I/O too, since Sd is faster than Nand. the real world performance depends on the Class of your card. The faster the better!
This rom is based on Sibere’s Data2sd scripts, which with the latest ext4 based script, is arguably one of the best of the lot. Other than this, the Rom has been kept stock, with the base rom 2.29.405.5. It is for those who want the HTC Sense Rom, but are tired of the low disk space warnings thrown at them! Of course, important mods like the Restart menu, Supercircle battery mod (@UOT) etc are available.
Contrary to prior Data2SD scripts which were infamous for their boot loops and force closes, this latest script has been rigorously tested and developed into a stable product by Sibere. To date, I havent had a single force close or boot loop yet on this Data2SD configuration
I know there are a lot of Stock rooted roms out there, but this one supports Data2Sd best, mostly because it’s been built for the sole purpose of giving a problem free Data2sd experience.

Main Rom Lite Edition This edition is kept completely stock. No third-party apps at all. No customizations. Installation is exactly like that of the Standard Rom installation
Main Rom Standard Edition
This version includes the Lite edition plus some apps which most people consider essential, like Astro File Manager, Titanium and MyBackup Root edition, QuickAppRemover. Also includes the idrops keyboard and Android stock keyboard.
Main Rom Classic Edition (Intelligent Data2SD)
The difference between this Rom and the other Roms (Classic and Lite editions) is that Data2SD in this Rom is Built in. S-On users will however have to flash the Data2SD installer/reinstaller just like Standard and Lite Editions
Data2Sd installer
Data2Sd Re-Installer
If you ever reflash the Rom alone after the Data2SD is installed, some essential libraries required by Data2SD is lost. To restore them, flash the Rom in Recovery, followed immediately thereafter by the Re-Installer.

Optional Mods
System App Remover Utility New!
(Removes Friendstream, Facebook, Teeter, Twitter etc from the Rom. Simple flashable utility. Download it here. Flash it any time you want. If you want to keep some apps out of these, go to /scripts/remover.sh and remove the line corresponding to the app you want to keep.
The list of apps/widgets which the utility removes by default can be found here.
Third Party App Remover Utility New!
Removes the additional apps and widgets including Adfree, TitaniumBackup, MyBackup Root, Astro, Explorer, Gmail Unread Count Widget, and SMS Unread count widget that come installed with the Rom on first install. Thus after running this program, you get a clean HTC Sense setup, but with the advantages of the latest Market update and the updates for all HTC/Google apps. Requested and added on the same day.
Supercircle battery mod [From the UOT Kitchen]
This is just one of the mods. Visit the UOT Kitchen to make your own. Since the Rom is fully supported by the kitchen, just choose StarBurst from the dropdown list after selecting your customizations. Note that changing the framework may cause problems between other mods, or system package installations. To revert, just flash the Rom followed by the Data2SD Reinstaller without a reboot.
Mega Sound Pack from Miui
Beautiful idrops keyboard (by Adbirdie. Original thread here)
Theme packs which have been confirmed to work on StarBurst
(Tell me when you try out more)-StarBurst is optimized to be themeable. Most Sense themes should work. The following are just a few examples of the countless themes which work on StarBurst.

Version 2
Updates/Patches
All patches released to date have been integrated into the latest Rom.
How to theme this Rom:
Note: This Rom is now directly supported by the UOT Kitchen. To modify the theme as you see fit, visit the awesome UOT Kitchen and choose your theme. At the last step, choose Starburst Rom from the dropdown list. That's it! Thanks, UOT and mendozinas. (For the kind notice of the UOT Kitchen devs: All StarBurst Rom versions share the same framework-res.apk
I havent included any theme in this Rom because I dont believe in radically modifying the looks of a Rom until it may be unpleasant to some. A lot of themes are available for Sense, if you look in the Theming section of XDA. Most are flashable directly. Also, being a fully deodexed rom, theming/moding is easily done
Additional Kernels
Statutory Warning: Using any custom kernel may cause reboots of the phone without warning. If reboot occurs on a Data2SD based configuration, there may be potential loss of Data with permanent boot loops (which may be fixable only by a Nandroid restore to a working configuration/complete reinstall). So do a complete Nandroid backup before any kernel modification/flashing or changing your CPU frequencies.
Installation of Kernels
This is similiar to flashing a Rom through Recovery. Just install the Rom and Data2SD patcher before flashing the kernel zip. Undervolted kernels usually provide better battery life. But if you undervolt/overclock too much, your phone might become unstable and reboot. This can potentially cause Data2SD damage and bootloops may result. So, take Nandroid and monitor system stability. If it becomes unstable, always revert back. Please don't post bug reports in the thread if you use a different kernel than what is included in StarBurst by default. If you do mention a bootloop, take care to mention what kernel you were using.
Reboot menu mod (snq menu recompiled to support Data2SD)
Integrated into Base Rom on 19 Jan
About other mods
Note that this Rom already includes most kernel mods needed for performance/battery. If you still like some other mods published for the stock rom, drop a post in the thread. Advanced theming for the mod can be done in the UOT Kitchen.
I didn’t want users to worry about installing other mods, and wanted a No-Nonsense installation (pun intended ). Install the base rom and the data2sd installer. That’s all you need! And you get everything that other roms provide.
About Installing other Kernels
Most kernels which support Stock Sense 2.29.405 should work on this. Work with your kernel dev and see if it supports 2.29.405.
Links to Additional Stuff (Addons) - Usually unnecessary
Radios
Latest radio (Recommended, but by no means essential, unless your radio is very, very old. Flashing radios is a risky thing with the potential of permanently bricking your phone)

StarBurst was born out of a hobby and passion for making a Data2SD Rom based on the HTC Rom without any of the limitations imposed by the Stock Rom, and yet to provide a Stable Rom for everyday use. If you feel that StarBurst has provided you that, and if you wish to support its continued development, you may consider a donation.
As a small gesture of thanks, donors will be sent the latest direct ROM direct links by email.

And you can go upto 2Gb for Internal memory..Not that you need it though!

Battery life is as good as Leedroid, since it shares the Leedroid kernel. I havent tested battery life though, since checking my roms continuously by flashing means my phone is a glutton for power.
So far, no bugs..I've tested it a lot..Still, the instructions have to be followed as per OP. If you just install the second file right after flashing the base rom without booting into the system once, it will loop. Also like any Data2Sd setup, pulling battery "may" cause boot loops..I havent had any so far though

Video review:
double lock screen for speed show, not bug
User's review:
toondewachter said:
Well, I tested the rom today and here's the verdict:
IT'S ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
The rom is fast, very stable, didn't have any problems with it for now! It seems to be slightly faster than v1.1.
I still like the fact that it is not OC'ed! Cause that's where stability (and reliability?) troubles start. Quadrant score = 379, which is good for a non-OC rom.
Quickpic is a great replacement for the gallery, further everything works like one is used to.
Photo widget has been removed with the gallery, if you want to use it: there are alternatives on the market, but I don't know any for free (with the options you want). Perhaps someone can give a tip here.
In short: great work, Hodostamas! It's nice that you consider the comments given by the users of your rom. I find this the best rom for the galaxy 3 out here! Keep up your great work! I like what you have planned for v1.3 so far!
Thanks for your great work! This rom is really recommended!

Thanks to,
- rudolf895 for saving rom tutorial
- android unlock screen
- marcellusbe for fugumod 2.2
- ARMV team for JIT, and BrainCrash for enabled in XXJPN
Recommended Apps: (these are tested, and there is no know bugs, if you use it)
-Uninstaller - simple, very fast uninstall app
-Apps2sd - to view, wich app can be moveable to SD card
-lgCamera - very good camera app
-LauncherPro - if you don't like the TouchWiz launcher..
How to install:
(If you didn't have the JPF rom installed in the past, or any froyo rom, it's recommended to install, then install this rom)
1. Need Installed KIES/Samsung drivers on your PC
2. Need ODIN multi downloader, and the ROM (.tar file)
3. Start odin, and select ops(apollo_0531.ops), turn on one package, and set .tar for it.
4. Start your phone in Download Mode: Volume DOWN + HOME + Power button
5. connect your phone to the PC. In odin, the square on the top left has to change its colour to yellow, if not, you have problems with drivers, fix it!
6. Update started. Uploading the files takes about ~2 min. After the phone restarts. (if you stuck in the GT-I5800 text for more than 1 min, restart phone manually: press power button for long), Then the phone restarts and it wipes data/cache
7. First start takes more time, be cool.
8. After the desktop showed, go to: Setting - Privacy - Factory Settings, and do it! Important!
9. First start takes more time again, be cool.
10. Happy using!
Video Installation guide by gtamate:
If you want to...:
- Use Samsung Lock screen:
Replace android.policy.odex in /system/framework, with this file:
android.policy.odex
- Use data2sd(only recommended with high speed SD card. class 6<)
Follow this tutorial: [Utility] ext4 data2sd for Froyo ROMs
- Convert partitions to another file systems:
Just make a simple file in this directory: sdcard/Android/data/fugumod/fs.convert
The file contains only these words: (example for /data and /system to ext4)
PHP:
stl6 ext4
stl7 ext4
Then restart your phone. (make sure, you have at least 0.5GB free space in SD card, for conversion)
You can check, for the conversion was ok, or failed:
Use Terminal emulator, or ADB, and this command:
adb shell (only if using ADB)
mount
- Create own rom, like this?
Follow rudolf895's tutorial: [Tutorial] Make your own custom rom
Hm first i thought oh no another rom but i like the update strategy
thats what i thought to, i actualy love stock roms and from there to be able to redesign my onw customs on the phone.
i would like to see a new custom rom in which the dev actualy works more on the system files and improvements of the core of the rom instead of themes and visuals (Performance).
id like to add to the list some apps
- WidgetLocker + themes
- MoboPlayer as it supports almost all video formats and has subtitles support
- Wifi Manager for Wifi
- QuickSettings
- TigerArcade for all the 90's arcade games such as StreetFighter
Good luck with your new ROM .. hope is a step forward for the ROMs community developed for our SG3.
Do something special man, like Clockworkmod Recovery, Overclocking etc. Add tutorials, even though there are a lot, they are not explained properly. Give tuts for a NOOB.
I'm trying to prepare tuts but I have very little time. Keep up the good work.

there are many tutorials in the forum.. in this topic, only tutorial will be how to install this rom..
OC will never be, until all version are raising voltage..
cwm is in alpha stage, it can brick the phone..
Like i sad, there's no special in this rom, only the tested stuff. but yes, this is for noobs, who don't have skills/time to customize a rom, but they can flash, via odin (its really easy)
anyway, thx

Good idea getting out a stock modded rom,
so that every one can customize it their own way
And its better not to add oc, as there is where all the problems start for those who want it can just flash a kernel n get it..Just an opinion

There is no need to change baseband. But if it matters ill post the modem file.
And the wakup lag is definitely better I must say from 2-3 sec to 1 sec
nice to see this kind of rom. simple, clean, and almost stock
btw: the antutu score isn't useable, because sd card speed bug
i think this rom will find many users.
good luck.

Thanks I really want to make a business environment ready rom
and about the sdcard speed, it doesn't really matter in score acutally, here is another screenshot:
Why battery charged notification is removed? It was convenient ant bug less to me. Im using CM9, but soon im going to need fully working car charger, that's why im interested.
What i really would like to see:
normal sms box in polish language no like in attached thumbnail;
stock touchwiz 3.0 weather widget (that is pack if i remember correctly)
stock touchwiz 3.0 is probably better
1% battery mod = superb!
It's my dream Sammy bug less rom
One more thing that i remember stock Samsung Mail have some kind of bug notification disappears after some time only badge notification informs me about new mail. Is it possible to fix this issue?
sorry if my proposition's going too far in Your vision of this project

@people who talk about unlock lag:
The unlock lag is caused by one of these reasons below
- slow sleep cpu speed/governor (check /system/etc/init.d/01cpu)
Standard is powersave / 122MHz
- virtuous oc daemon itself. since it will switch between profiles at every lock/unlock
Im gonna test it without the oc daemon also, and ill see if if causes lag just by being active (no matter whatsettings)
- other i9001 bug
You tell me?

[ROM-JB][OC/UV] CvD-Nibbles 1.6 ~ Custom Kernel ~ GAPPS (Updated: 1/5/13) [TEAM ROOK]

Base: CM10 JellyBean
Kernel: Nibbles v0.1.3
Installer: Aroma
Source Sync & Build Date: 1.05.13
Release Date: 1.05.13
Release Version: v1.6
Packed full of yummy goodness, stability and speed, this ROM is intended to be a daily driver. This is not a test, experiment or buggy piece of nonsense. I started with CM10 Jellybean and added numerous enhancements to improve speed, stability and battery life. Installation is a breeze with Aroma, choose which options and applications you want to have - or run it again to install any apps you may have missed (without having to re-flash the ROM).
Please read the first three posts completely, then read them again before you flash this for the first time. Any notable bugs are located in the post below. If you experience any issues that have not been reported already, please post to the thread. Thanks!

Installation Made Easy:Just download the zip and flash it. The Aroma installer will guide you through a multitude of options, including different launchers, application choices and system options. If you prefer a no fuss installation, there's even an option for a pre-configured base installation. Lastly, if you decide to install any apps you previously chose not to, simply flash the zip and choose the application installer option.

Included Applications:Google Apps 4.1, ROM Manager, Root File Explorer, Accuweather, DSP Manager with BEATS Audio, Goo.im and more! The ROM also includes the new UCLK4 radio as an optional installation.
Under the hood are numerous script tweaks, system tweaks and enhancements to balance performance, stability and usability.

Nibbles Kernel:Up to and including Nibbles v1.4-S, I've been including the TFQ-LZ kernel by thomas.raines. Starting with Nibbles v1.5-S, there is an entirely new kernel dedicated to powering the Nibbles ROM. The Nibbles kernel includes a LOT of new features that cater to all users who want to get the most out of their device. I've included many popular CPU Governors and I/O schedulers to support a wide variety of uses. Additionally, I've made lots of other fundamental changes to the kernel to better balance battery and performance (well beyond what you can do with a handful of scripts) as well as implementing over clocking the CPU to 1.782GHz, Under/Over Volting the CPU at each frequency step and over clocking the GPU.
CPU Governors: intellidemand, pegasusq, gallimaurfy, interactivex, smartassv2, wheatley, interactive, conservative, userspace, ondemand, performance
I/O Schedulers: noop, deadline, cfq, sio, vr, bfq
There are two flavors of the Kernel available now. One with stock GPU clock speeds and the other with a slightly overclocked GPU. Check the download section below.

***DOWNLOAD Nibbles Kernel v0.1.3 HERE!***
Nibbles 1.6 includes stock and Nibbles versions of the kernel as part of the installer. The downloads below are for anyone who wants to use the kernel on any other AOSP JB rom (kernel will not work on TW ROMs).
Both downloads include all of the kernel features mentioned in the OP. The differences between these two is only the GPU speed. You can download and flash either of these at any time without wiping your system. Note that the installation will wipe your cache and dalvik, so after you reboot, let the apps setup and settle for a few minutes.

***Instagram Fix***
The instagram fix included in Nibbles 1.6 is from jee'sgalaxy's post HERE. There are five build.prop values that are edited (Nibbles only required two of them). If you do not use instagram, you can reset these values in build.prop to the following:
debug.composition.type=dyn
debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=3
dev.pm.gpu_samplingrate = 1 (delete this one)
debug.sf.hw = 1 (this stays the same)
debug.egl.hw = 1 (this stays the same)
( disable dithering as noted in the thread wasn't necessary for the fix )
I included this by default in the ROM because I figured most people use instagram. Either way, if you don't use it, just swap these values back if you want to. Changing them back to stock isn't required unless you notice issues with video related to memory collisions.
Make sure you use a build.prop editor to make the changes, backup your original version and reboot when you are done.

Known Bugs:
Bluetooth may crash the first time you open it. Just relaunch and it should be fine. I don't have a means to test bluetooth, if someone wants to offer up a fix, PM me.
Things of note:
Double check your APN settings after flashing to make sure you're on LTE and it's all correct.
First boot will be slow, have patience. It may take a couple minutes. Subsequent reboots should fly.
If you set your CPU to 196MHz, you will notice some lag when waking up the phone. This is particularly true if you have a live wallpaper.
After first boot, hit the volume rocker to wake up the sound. (This should no longer be an issue)
I no longer support the battery mods from my other thread, while they will work on this ROM they might do something funky. Use at your own risk.

Change Log Information:
There are two places where I publish change information. In the post below and in changelog.txt on Goo.im in each ROM directory. Make sure to read the changelog information before you download and install the ROM. In most cases, the minor version updates simple incorporate patches that have been accumulated since the prior release. If you have installed all applicable patches, you likely won't need to download and install the full ROM.
How to read my version numbers:
I keep them pretty simple to be honest, the first number is a major release. This probably won't change until I move to CM10.1 when it is read. The second number is a compiled release, meaning that I recompiled the source to include significant fixes or updates - you will always need to do a full ROM flash when these are released. The third number is a minor release, as noted above it typically only includes accumulated patches since the last compiled or minor release.

Important information on latest version 11.06.2013::
To update the rom with previous version (09.05/03.06), in recovery enough to do wipe cache and dalvik cache. Everything including wifi should work. If some application isn't working properly, clear the application data in Settings > Applications
Rom for a few minutes after the start may a little slowly work. Wait for all processes to be loaded and then you feel the speed
For improve the working of rom, I recommend to delete file "99seeder" in the system/etc/init.d
You can do this a file manager with root privileges (eg root explorer).
When you delete the file, mandatory make restart phone.
Recommended options:
I will recommend changes clock speed CPU Clk4 at least 1100 and possibly change voltage Vsel1-Vsel3 5-10 less. These changes have practically no effect on the battery and phone noticeably better working.
To use these options, run phone again in Bootmenu > CPU Settings and set an appropriate value (eg as above). Finally, slide down and press Save. Changes will be saved permanently and will not change when you reboot the phone.
My Settings:
CLK1 - 300
CLK2 - 600
CLK3 - 800
CLK4 - 1100
Vsel1 - 24
Vsel2 - 40
Vsel3 - 48
Vsel4 - 58

Changelog: "Gapps with Rom".
i love this rom..but the battery i notice after using for one day..android OS and media server take up too much battery..any solution? overall this rom is really smooth..fast..i really like all the features and fluidity..good job man!!
Maybe restart your phone. I think that after second charge phone battery will function normally. On my phone, battery works just like the other CM10.
Any opinions? Rom has been downloaded more than 220x and silence in the thread
Looks interesting, I've moved on from my Defy but I'll try it out as I'm quite happy using slim bean on my S3 and Nexus 7. Would be nice to breathe some new life into this phone.
Edit: Has this ROM been tested with any of the available custom kernels (i.e JellyX)?
I haven't tested custom kernels. Probably one of the older jellyx will work.
I think that no need for custom kernels because standard rom is fast.
solve my battery problem with draining the battery and recharge back...definitely a keeper..thanks taki_jeden..awesome job with the rom!!! ^_^
AWESOME rom... fast smooth and stable ...
Thanks dev

Just flashed this ROM. Wi-Fi reception is a bit weaker than other Quarx ROMs, and can't connect to other access points I'm used to, but lucky for me I have several access points, so not THAT big an issue. Aside from that, loving it so far, already managed to record a 2 minute video with stock camera app without the audio cutting during the recording, so depending on battery life, I'll probably stay on this ROM.
Also, very customizable. Nice work. :good:
Edit: Boot also takes a bit longer than what I'm used to, not a big issue though, just an observation. And sometimes it takes a while for my sim card to register to the network, will see how it behaves during the next few days.
Very nice rom, snappy and interactive. Only problem I'm facing is my text messages don't get delivered. It always fails please let me know if there's a solution?

SMS messages are working fine for me, but I did have this problem on one of the CM10 roms. The only fix was to wipe data/cache from custom recovery. It also might be a problem with your message service center.
Dial *+*+4636+*+*, then go to "Phone information", and scroll down to the "SMSC" and press "Resfresh". It should show a number that corresponds to your carrier. Call your carrier and confirm that that is the correct SMSC number. If it's not, ask them for the correct number, write it down in the box and press update. Not sure if you have to reboot or not, and generally this is not necessary since your phone should find the correct number automatically.
If this doesn't work, I'd wipe data and check again; that's what worked for me anyway (can't find the source right now, sorry), so you never know.
Awesome ROM......Best in speed
I became a fan of slim roms becoz of the customizable options it provides...Battery seems good.
