[Q] After putting Infused on, Android store won't open - Samsung Infuse 4G

I just rooted my phone and then installed Infused. I then did a batch restore using titanium backup for all apps and data. Now my whole phone seems buggy and the Android store will not open. I have to keep force closing it.
Does anyone else have these issues?
EDIT: Just noticed that it did not restore half of what it said it did and now the titanium backup program itself is missing. I feel like i'm going to have to reflash all over again and just lose all my stuff.

I got the android store working but my previous problem returned of insufficient space message on my phone when I am trying to download from the android store. I have 1.17gb free on phone, 13gb free on internal sd and 30gb free on external... Does anyone know why the space message?

Do a fresh reflash and do not install from titanium, install fresh from market then do a fresh backup with titanium
infuse 4g "a lot a screen real estate"

I think I'll have to try that and deal with having to replace everything.hopefully that works. I'm brand new to android and have had an iphone since they first came out so this is completely different but much better.

Next time you do a batch restore after installing/flashing a new rom be sure after you open titainium backup that you do not select "Restore missing apps + system data" but instead select "restore all apps with data" . Just be sure that you do not restore system data.
Also after you do a restore, reboot the phone into recovery mode and wipe the dalvik cache and the regular cache then select "reboot now" from the recovery menu.. After the phone restarts let it sit for 5-6 minutes after that I am certain you will have either no problems or a lot less problems..
If only a few apps are giving problems, just uninstall those apps and re install them, then restart the phone.
Hope this helps,
Have a great day.

Thanks for the posts...I am going to attempt to reflash with the rom again and then do just the restore all apps with data.
EDIT: reflashing now...fingers crossed!

Everything seemed to go well..now i'm back to getting the "Error downloading. There is insufficient space on the device" when in the android market. I have plenty of space on my phone and SD card.

Can't download apps from market

I just updated to JH7 using samsung kies and now I can't download any apps from the market. The phone is completely stock since I used Odin to flash it before the JH7 update. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Had that problem before the update... Unmounted the internal SD Card, then formatted it.. wipe my music, but I was able to reload it... That fixed the whole thing... You might also try going into recovery mode and clearing the cache....
Did you use titanium backup?
I used titanium backup a while back before the Odin master clear and flash to stock stock firmware.
Just removed my sd card and downloads work again. I guess the titanium backups that I had on the sd card is causing the problem.
It seems to stop working again after I downloaded quick settings. Can't download even after reformating the sd card and taking it out. Also I can't get the e-mail app to work. It shows "checking incoming server settings" then shows the message "unable to open connection to server. Tried it with wifi and 3g.
I think this has been answered several times over the last few days. Basics are to not let ti restore anything system related, only your apps and data.
That fixes the market problem, no idea on the email but id start with that.

I didn't use titanium backup to restore anything. Just used it to uninstall the bloatware before I flashed it back to stock with Odin. So how do I fix it?

Question about Titanium Backup

Hello Everyone,
I have a question about Titanium Backup. I run backups for all my apps (without data) and when I run a factory reset I have to reinstall everything. I understand this because that erases everything including Titanium Backup from my phone. My question is am I doing something wrong and is there a way to recover your apps with Titanium Backup after a Restore or Reset of your phone? Because once I reinstall TB after a reset none of my backups are there obv. But I have to go and re download everything from the market which is a pain in my behind Frankly. So in closing either TB should have some sort of cloud storage for there users where their apps are being backed up to OR they have something like this already and I am blind. I have looked several places but everywhere I go and it says this is possible they are just showing restoring apps with TB after a new rom is flashed...Not completely reset.
Thanks for any help that can be provided!!

I had the same question when I first started using TB. yes you do lose it when you factory reset, but go into the market and redownload it and the pro key if you have paid for it. and you can batch restore your apps an Data. I do it alot cause I'm always testing ROMS. Btw get the full version it has some nice features like batch install without having to click install for every app. makes restoring a breeze

The backups are stored on your SD card. As long as you aren't wiping that, they should still be there in the Titanium Backup folder.
TB does have Dropbox sync, at least in the pro version. Don't know why a factory rest would delete your backups though, does it also delete photos, etc?
Well all backups from TB are on the sd hence u need not worry !
Also just install TB from market and u will notice all of ur backups are ready to be restored !
consider shifting the TB app to the System intead of Data hence it can survive a factory reset !!
i have installed the all in the system !!
Thanks everyone for your replies, I just upgraded to the Pro Version. Thanks for all the help, yea I do the same thing I am always reflashing different roms to try out and I use Odin to go back to factory a lot too. So thats why I brought the question up. Thanks again!

[Q] Titanium Backup Pro problems

I've had it for ages now without any problems whatsoever.
But last night something happened that i cant rightly explain!
I un-installed a useless notpad app, that i recently installed, and after that ALL apps in TBP shows with a warning triangle, even if i do a full backup it just shows the triangle and i cant restore ANYTHING..
It says it got the app and data, but i cant do ANYTHING with it.
I even reinstalled the whole ROM, TWICE without any change in how TBP is dealing with programs..
Complete format of SD card, exct..
Still it REFUSES to let me restore my apps..
Even if do a full backup, followed by trying to restore, it says i have zero apps to restore..

That sounds like a likely possibility. Maybe try a new backup and see if you can restore that? If that works, it would tell you that the original backup somehow got corrupted.
Ok, figured out what was the problem but damn it was annoying.
Under "Filter by platform"
Check EVERY single box EVEN those who where "empty" and presto, backups worked again.
Dunno why default download of the app set it to a few select options.
Seems dumb to me.

[Q] Need help recovering apps + data

Hello ... I did something incredibly stupid and am on here as a last resort for help.
Have a rooted (but still locked) TF300t on Jelly bean 4.2.1. Using Titanium Pro. Did a backup apps + data a few hours ago. Had been downloading a lot of apps lately, tablet was feeling sluggish, decided to do a cold boot. Got distracted by somebody talking to me, didn't notice that instead of selecting the little green android to reboot, I selected "wipe data". Brilliant, I know.
So I downloaded Titanium from Play again, and tried to do a restore. But there doesn't appear to be anything for it to restore. The Titanium folder on my microSD just has a small XML file in it.
So... is there any chance of getting my apps and data back? Or is it all totally wiped and unrecoverable? And even with OTA Rootkeeper, have I lost root (I assume, since SuperSU is gone too)? Any advice welcome.
Also - any tips to use Titanium more effectively so that next time I do something this dumb, I can actually restore?
Ok - so my initial fear that the wipe data had somehow wiped my microSD is totally off the mark.
It looks like when I copied the Titanium backup from internal to microSD, there was an error and it didn't actually copy. It was confusing at first since I have nothing else stored on my microSD so it looked like it had been wiped except for the titanium licence xml file.
So - anybody have any ideas other than going to Google Play and re-downloading every app and saying goodbye to all of my previous data?

Some apps deleted after reboot

The phone became sluggish. I rebooted. After reboot, some of my apps were gone. :crying:
I opened Application Manager. It appears the apps got deleted became "com.(developer's name).(app's name)" and 0.00B.
I tried to install one app which got deleted. It failed. (Error code: -110)
What's wrong? How could I get back the apps, data and settings?
I have no SD card.
It is Samsung Galaxy Note 2, not rooted.
Please help. Thanks a lot.
Do a second clean reboot, and don't touch phone for 20 minutes. The apps MIGHT come back. If not, reinstall apps, then uninstall, and install again to clean up corrupted files. At worst, you might need to do a clean wipe of your system, as the file system itself might be corrupt, though normally I only see this on external memory cards.

What do you mean by clean reboot? I just switch off the phone. Wait 20 minutes and restart?
I couldn't reinstall the apps which got mysteriously deleted. They always fail. (Error code: -110)
I would like to save the data and settings of those apps before I do a clean wipe as a last resort. But how could I backup those data and settings when they are all suddenly gone. Please advise. Thanks a lot.

Yes, power off via menus, power on and don't touch for 20 minutes, then see if phone fixed self.

Tried but failed :crying:
Could anyone help? Thank you.
The system looks unstable. I couldn't reinstall those unrecoverable apps. I would like to backup data and do a factory reset.
But how could I backup those app data? The app data are still there, but the apps are unrecoverable.
I tried Helium which states it can backup app data without root access. Unfortunately those apps which got deleted mysteriously were not on the backup list.
Titanium Backup needs root access. I've never rooted before.
What's the easiest way to root my phone? Thank you.
