Galaxz S/S2 Browser port to Nexus S - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Is it possible to port the gpu accelerated browser to the nexus s?
The galaxy s has it in the gingerbread release, so i think its possible to port the browser to the Nexus ss because of its same hardware.
It would be so awesome... the scrolling with the browser of the Nexus s sucks!
Greats from Germany.

Best android iPod touch alternative?

What do you think the best Android iPod touch alternative is? The device would preferably have ICS and a camera.

I would probably say Samsung Galaxy Player 5 or Samsung Galaxy Player 4 depending on which screen size your prefer they have essentially the same specs otherwise. Both have a 3.2 mp camera and while they run gingerbread you can root it and put ICS on it. Most "ipod touch" like android devices other then then the Samsung Galaxy Player series tend to unfortunately be poorly made, and laggy and buggy as hell. The Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0 forums would probably be a good place to start.
And this guide should be a big help:
[GUIDE][01.07.2012]The Samsung Galaxy Player/S Wifi 4.0, 5.0 All-In-One Thread
Sony Live With Walkman? 720p vid 5mpx cam 1ghz proccessor has ICS Bravia Engine..
you could just get a nexus s 4G with a bad ESN with the ICS update

I find the pop-up mini apps handle most of the multitasking I need.
I find Swype faster than handwriting (the beta does have handwriting btw.) I've used the handwriting on my wife's Note 2 and we both find Swype faster and more accurate.
There are indeed quite a few 3rd party floating folder/video/note/browser. Heard the stock video if float will cause lag even on a quad core, that is really bad coding from samsung.

[Q] Google Camera - Dithering problems?

Hi guys,
I noticed that when I take pictures with google camera App, they are Dithered!
Compared to my Stock Camera App and compared to Focal camera App it's very noticeable!
I like google's camera, but it's a shame if this problem exist in other devices too...
So I've got Galaxy S4 (i9500) and I'm running WanamLite V4 - 4.4.2, but I just want to check with you guys if
this problem exist on your devices too...
This is how it looks on my camera apps
look at the sky, can you see the Dithering in colors?
Please let me know if you have this problem too...
Cheers
:fingers-crossed:
That would be up to Google to fix, I personally would stick with the Samsung camera, the image looks allot better.

Thanks, as for now, I'm back to Samsung camera...
Pity, I like google's minimalistic UI... and Lens blur is cool too...
Thanks!
It is, it makes a huge difference on the Nexus 5 but in upcoming updates just try and see if the image has the same problem.
