Hi guys,
My question is every time I flash EB (any version) my phone goes blank (LG Logo then after a blank screen then phone will overheat). I don't have this problem on any other ROM.
Tried all this combination and still doesn't fix it.
Wipe Factory Reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Davlik (I have error every time I wipe saying E:\ ...sdcard\ext not found)
Format System
Fix Permission
Help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi
I installed CM 7 stable version in my Galaxy s GT9000 mtd last week and until when i captured a video it was working fine and i took my phone to make a call after 5minutes and by the time it was rebooting automatically. I thought its normal but it got bootlooped.i got shocked and luckily it worked fine after i switched off the phone by pressing power button for 30 seconds and switching it on again......
and when i googled about this i saw in most of the forums regarding this problem and learnt that i should wipe the dalvik cache too which i never did during the installation of CM7 (Its not mentioned in the wiki)
I am afraid that it might happen again in future...my question is if i redo the installation again by the following procedure is there any chance that it might not boot loop again???
1.wipe cache
2.wipe data/factory reset
3.Navigate to Advanced-->wipe Dalvik cache
4.Navigate to mounts and storage---> format /system
5.Install the ZIP
Please i need some experts help on this.....(thanks in advance)
can anyone help me on this plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Yeah..flash the custom ROM again..n wipe everything before
I was following a guide to root and flash a ROM for my LG Optimus V. I got to the step where I wipe data/factory reset, cache, and dalvik-cache, but I decided to continue the guide later and powered off my phone and ended up in fastboot. I got out of fastboot by installing the zip files for BACKside ROM from the recovery menu, so now my phone works but a few things are off like I can't receive calls, getting server errors on google play, and getting an error that com.phone.android stopped working. I'm not sure what to do next to resolve those issues.
Edit: I realized that before installing BACKside, I didn't wipe caches or format anything since I had done them before my phone went into fastboot. Does this make a difference and means I need to re-install BACKside (by wiping caches, formatting, and then flashing)?

1)maybe the rom and ur baseband don't match
2) maybe bcoz u didn't wipe so ders problem
3) or the rom itself has prob
so do a full wipe including formatting system.
I have a problem, I am running Froyo 2.2.2 and wanted to upgrade to CM10.1, I installed the recovery via rom manager and rebooted in recovery mode after that I wipe the data/ factory , wipe cache partition and wipe the dalvik cache but when I tried to locate the CM10 zip I couldn't find it. I rebooted my phone without installing any thing but after reboot my phone is showing 0.00B phone memory available and I am unable to install any software. Please help me to resolve the issue.

Reflash your Froyo Kdz
Hey,
I've been running several Lollipop ROMs on my Nexus 5 in the past few months.
Today my Nova Launcher suddenly stopped working and froze instantly on restart, so I rebooted the phone.
It got stuck shortly before ending the boot, after several seconds of those colored dots whizzing around the screen they froze.
This issue was reproducible, so I first cleared the Cache and Dalvik Cache and rebooted, same problem. I then tried to Fix Permissions to no avail.
I then erased System, Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache and reflashed my current L-ROM of choice, OptiPop.
The device still doesn't boot, same problem.
Now TWRP is showing an error in red font whenever I try to wipe or flash.
The error I'm getting is:
Code:
unable to stat '/data/data/com.google.android.feedback/cache/com.android.opengl.shaders_cache'
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
Try reflashing TWRP and then wiping. If it still doesn't work flash the factory images from fastboot using either the script or ( optimally ) by hand one by one.
Your filesystem might have gotten corrupted well enough for TWRP not to make heads or tails of it.
If that still doesn't work search the forum for how to format the needed partitions - and triple check what you are formatting.
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to wipe the phone to do a clean installation.
So i reboot into twrp, choose wipe and i select dalvik cache, data, cache and system, i swipe to start the wipe and the progress shows that is wiping, but a few seconds after the phone reboots and goes back into the system.
What can i do?
Tried to flash a new rom without wiping data, got stuck in a bootloop and unable to go back into twrp.
Flashed again twrp, wiped everything and its working again.
Repair the data filesystem by going into Repair option. Fixed it for me
