did you wipe data/cache in recovery before you installed? It may have recognised full capacity as that. OR you have a damaged memory unit. Try reflashing the official 2.2.2 rom and if it is still buggy then send back to motorola
I faced the exact problem. Ended up resetting phone! Now it's working though.

Flashed the Nordic SBF > Root > Install Defy 2nd Init> Wipe Data/Cache > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Install MIUI.
I tried without flashing but the phone was not booting after wiping. So had to flash. You may have better luck

Hello,
I have a Milestone XT720 (French version), and 1 SD Card inside with 3 partitions on it. One is FAT, the others are ext-3 for apps and swap.
I have just tried the XT720 MIUI ROM.. but I have boot loop at the MIUI boot animation. I try to clear dalvik, cache, and data and also I try to boot with and without SD card, it is still the same.
Would you please explain me how to solve it?!
Thank you so much!

Thank you!!.. Yes, I also use the "steelepicbluev4" before.. I use OR to wipe data/factory reset, but it didn't take effect too.
Is there another way to wipe data/factory reset?! Or should I flash another ROM and then come to MIUI?!

Solution
Actually, Wiping Cache & Dalvik won't help for everyone, I tried the same thing, all you have to do is re-flash your old ROM, then check if the MIUI ROM has any Faults & bugs, if not, try reflashing the MIUI ROM!
Good Luck!
Hey guys I've been on Ginger dx and as video problem is fixed on ics, I tried it. I installed 3 roms: icy snap, lastkiss and whitehawk but every time I start using the phone it either stuck and then shut down or show me lg logo and boots up
plz help me!
Possible solutions:
1. Try wiping all data, cache etc and dont forget to format boot also.
2. Try reflashing the rom.
3.Just check whether roms you downloaded are not corrupted.

I tried them all but none of them worked
The roms are not corrupted because the three of them work on my brother's p500 without any problem
i even tried to install a new clockwork version and new kernels but nothing solved the problem
help me pleeeeeaaaaaaase !
Did you do:
Wipe -> Factory Reset -> Cache -> Dalvik Cache -> System -> SD-EXT?
I can't think of anything that would prevent the ROMS to work except for not deleting everything before installing them.

I did everything you can ever imagine in recovery but the problem persists
In fact my problem is with ICS roms ( the three ones I mentioned ) but gingerbread roms work perfect !
I'm going mad with this problem and I can't imagine why only ICS roms donn't work properly !

I've just flashed the ViperOneS v2.0 from v1.2.1 yesterday, I've followed all the instruction from the thread. After flashing the Rom, it keeps showing "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped." I tried to send a bug report through the Venom Hub app, but it keeps telling the there is a error and it is unable to send the report. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

re-download rom and check md5
did you flash boot image per instructions, if under .13 hboot you may be able to flash just the rom and no need to fastboot boot image
but, you need to wipe all including system in recovery 2X and not in aroma. i have my best luck that way
also try a full rom install as opposed to custom, if you did a custom

I also experienced force close on certain app, is there any solution for it?
I've tried to wipe all the stuff and reinstall the rom, but the problem still exists. Is there any other solution for it? I can't even manage my contacts , whenever I want to link ny contacts, it force closes by itself.

also on fc's clear apps data for tweaks and hub
redo it all again, but this time wipe sdcard first. of course back card up before wiping, just don't restore. i think new rom flash will repopulate what must be there like android secure and a couple others. someone can confirm that.
if it don't work you may want to go back to stock and start over
Is it necessary to wipe the sd card also? btw, I've lost the 3G connection after flashing the rom, I can only connect to the GSM network and when I switch to WCDMA only in my network setting, my phone shows no service is available. Is it the problem of the radio?
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
i can use any radio and have no issues
start over with a fresh flash of 2.1 the upgarde manually
don't have to wipe sdcard
but if you start over with full wipe 3x including system. and reformat your sdcard before doing all that. it only leaves your phone. not all phones work well on all roms.
best to fastboot boot image
don't wipe in recovery and aroma, just aroma
don't use twrp 2.4.3.0, or what ever number is for latest--leaving work so kinda in hurry
after you boot first time, reboot and clear caches and boot back into os
claer data on tweaks and hub apk's
not saying you need to do all this, it just eliminates everything but your phone
anyway--good luck
I got the same problem and just reflashed everything and it worked.
I tried reflashing everything but the problem still exists

Can you get back to recovery to flash a new ROM?
I have flashed many ROMS recently to try them out and also had a similar issue with one or two of them.
On my Note 2 I hold power, home and volume up to cycle power and get back to recovery and simply flash a new ROM, presto...

Not sure what is going on but here is how I flash a ROM from recovery and so far so good.
Copy rom file to external sd card in phone.
Do a full factory wipe, cache and dalvik.
Install rom.
Install Gapps if necessary or desired.
Wipe cache and dalvik again.
Reboot
Note that some roms will give you a recommended list of what to wipe if doing a new install or upgrade of that rom, if such instructions exist its best to follow those instead but the above has worked for me for a while now.

That's what is advised to do before flashing a completely different ROM anyway by some. From recovery, flash the ROM again, and if the ROM is not corrupted (check md5 or whatever comes with it), you should be good to go.

This.
You have to completely wipe everything including internal storage as L formats/reads it different somehow.
