Hi,
I'm looking for an Voice Calling Application like on Nokia N73 is present. No Application i have to train for each Contact. A Application who can recognize my speech. At best in German, because i've found one in English (can't find it again...) and this one have big problems with the german language and pronunciation of the names.
Hopefully someone could help me
Is there anything on market that offer to make voice dialing with a Touch Pro2 HTC ? Voice Command is in english and does not work very well on asking the contact name.
If any of you have something to share, I'll appreciate !

Hi,
When I first installed the new Google Voice search I could only do a few actions via voice. Call, navigate to, directions and search. I couldn't do either of the send to text or email. I would say "send text peter" and it would understand what i said but just give me the option to search. I knew I had the same files as everyone else who had it all working, so it had to me something with my phone. I live in the uk so therefore have default language as English UK. Tried setting language to English US. And it worked. All voice options are now there.
So if you want to try all of the functions and don't live in the US just change your lanuage to US.
Hope that is of help.
I have installed text to speech extended and czech SVOX language. What app(s) do I need to be able to voice dial czech contacts? What app can read sms, e-mails or books writen in czech languege useing SVOX (TSS classic)? What for is text to speech extended with SVOX language anyway? I found only Google Translator... I have Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) and Android 2.1. Thx for help...
I use tasker to read out my sms when in car mode or when the headset is plugged using svox and czech language. I have not been able to get czech voice dialing running. I tried google voice search, but that works only with english call command and czech names have a poor matching rate, czech setting had a decent recognition rate, but I haven't been able to figure out the appropriate voice commands to trigger the call
Just trying some basic things on Google Voice commands on my HTC One (had since launch) and i keep getting weird errors.
If i say "send text to Adam test" it does it as i want.
However if i say send text to Karla, it searches for contacts called Carla.
Same for Rachael, searches for Rachel.
However if i switch from English UK to English US they both work fine.
Also "send text to mum" just does not work on any language. She's in the phone as Mum, but it just refuses to do it. If i say to do anything with mum it just does a google search every single time.
There must be a way to change this without changing the system language or the contacts names? Saying "send text to phil" loads up a contact called Philip so it's smart enough....

I've heard that adding a pause before the name helps in this situation. In other words say, "send text to" pause for a moment, then say the name.
Doesn't make a difference. It knows im saying "send text to mum" because it does a google search for it instead.
