Does anyone know if there is a way to disable "back button hides keyboard" settings?
Thanks Much..

But all the softkeys do it. Can't find any option for this, I assume you'll need a modded keyboard.

[Q]How to rebind right touchpad click as back button?

So, I've flashed the aokp rom on my tf101, and after that my right button on the touchpad (originally the back button) acts as if was a normal click.
It happens the same when i connect an external usb mouse, the right click is the same as the normal click.
Anyone know what i should do to revert this changes?
Thanks
I would also like to know this, as it is very convenient having the back button there.
You mean this is the default binding for the rom?
Anyone who flash it gets the button binded to a standard click?

Home button

Is there anyway to remove the circle that pops up when pressing the home button via the tablet? I am referring to the circle that has the other circle that says Google in it. I suppose one could call it an alternative route to Google Now/Search.

Only time I saw that circle was when I didn't change the method of locking the tablet. And now that I use a password, Pressing home (both on screen and in dock) does nothing if the tablet is already unlocked. When locked they also do nothing until the password is keyed in....
Do you have any other intention for long pressing the Home key? I ask this because the Google Now shortcut only shows on a long press. It doesn't appear when you simply tap the key to go Home, so it's not going to bother too many people.
Ahhh, so that's it. I'm guessing the OP needs to change he long press timeout to medium or long to prevent this from happening....
I already have mine set to medium, so that's why I didn't see it. It didn't occur to me to long press.
@OP: Settings --> Accessibility --> Touch & hold delay - change to medium / long. You're inadvertently long pressing the home button and that is why you're seeing what you're seeing.
Okie dokie. It doesn't affect performance or anything but I don't use that method when opening Google Now so I didn't like having it pop up every time.

[Q] Is there a way to wake screen using the keyboard dock?

Hello there,
Just trying to figure out if there is a button on the keyboard dock that wakes up the screen. I seem to have pressed every key on it but haven't had any luck.
Is pushing the power button on the tablet the only way to wake the screen? Is there a setting I am missing that will let me wake it from the keyboard as well? Thanks!

Under power saving or battery settings, there's the option to select "Wake screen on keyboard press" (or something. Can't check atm, my battery is empty.) Check that.

Ah, just found it under power management. Hmm, says that it takes more power to use this feature. I'm wondering how much that will drain my battery by having this feature enabled. Didn't realize it would use more power just to enable this.
Thanks!

It takes more power because your keyboard needs to stay "awake" all the time to get ready when you hit the key to turn the screen back on.

All I do is fold the screen and then pull it up again, this way I never have to use the power button.

[Q] Changing menu button function

Hi
Ive been using Slimbean on my Sgs for months, and there I can configure the menu button action.
Im using short press to have contextual menu, long press to switch between apps.
On the tf300t with Inheritance (and other roms as well, i guess), the menu button acts as a recent apps switcher.
Is there a way to chose its function as well ?
Thanks
That's actually a recent apps switcher button. Samsung chose not to follow googles design protocols and altered the way the buttons work from stock. There's supposed to be a three dot button somewhere in every app to act as a menu button, and when app developers don't do this, this ui adds one to the Nav bar temporarily.
Short answer, no, I don't believe it can be changed. And frankly for good reason.
