Infuse 4g $50 at Target July 17th - 23rd - Samsung Infuse 4G

http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/0...use-4g-available-for-50-at-target-july-17-23/
I figured I'd give you guys the heads up
P.S. $50 price is for new contracts AND upgrades
(unlike Amazon that charges more for upgrades vs new lines)

This is no deal!
you will charge taxes on this.
on amazon, no taxes!

Unless taxes equate to > $40, Target is still the better deal.
That or you're a rebel and refuse to pay taxes...
And damn, I just bought mine a week or so ago from Best Buy...could have saved $100.

How is this not a deal?
Even if Amazon doesn't charge tax they are currently selling the Infuse for $125 for brand new Att customers (which is more expensive than this deal)...
PLUS you get Targets 90-day return policy right?

Indeed!
Amazon's Upgrade/New Line price was 89 last week, and then they upped it.
I wonder whether someone local (AT&T Corporate store or Best Buy) would price match the Target price, so I can take care of my convoluted account merge/split at the same time, AND get this great price.
Now I only have to decide whether to pull the trigger or await the Samsung SGS2 (AT&T Attain) (assuming it EVER shows up!)

IMMA GO ALL NERD ON YOU ALL!
$50.00X0.08=$4.00+$50.00=$54.00...
so you would be paying anywhere from 54 to 60 bucks at the most...

They usually charge taxes on the Non-Contract price of the phone, so you still pay abouy $40 in taxes, but still not a bad deal

what if i want a car charger? or one of those cases with all the pretty jewels on it?

Gonna grab this phone for my mother and swap out my atrix with it. I wonder if the att store will do a price match.
Sent from my MB860

If you buy it through Target they don't have an option to keep your unlimited data. Is there anyway you can order online and then when you get the phone in the mail call ATT customer service to make sure they keep your unlimited while activating it for the first time?
Has anyone already done this w/ when ordering through Amazon? (since they don't give you the option to keep unlimited either...)

Good question ugh never thought i'd say this but glad I don't have a unlimited data plan lol

You can go back to BB and get refunded the difference within 30 days, and they won't take any of those activation fees into account. I did this and got back $50 from BB when Costco had it for $50 off.

Best site/place to get a G2x no contract

I want to get a G2x off contract because i work at a radioshack and can go on tmobile's dealer plan if i buy the phone outright. I've checked ebay and craigslist which had pretty good prices but i was wondering if you guys knew of any other places that people may not generally go or know about.
I scoured Craigslist for a couple weeks and negotiated price with a few people until I found a deal I was comfortable with. I would think eBay and CL are going to be your best bet for getting a good deal buying it outright.

Off contracts it's gonna be pretty much the same price everywhere. I get a 10% discount at target so that kinda cancelled out the tax so I saved around $50
got mine for 330 off somebody on Craigslist

Craigslist !
I just got one yesterday for $260 off Craigslist.
TMobile wants $535 with sales tax.
I'm going to watch craigslist for a cheap Sensation when its released too.
Usually about a month after release new phones start showing up on there for cheap.

If you plan on getting a good deal on craigslist you have to almost live on there.
Most really good deals are gone within a half hour from when its posted.
Mine had been on there half hour when I texted him that I'd take it.
I plan on getting a Sensation on there like that too.
Just bored on a saturday sitting on the PC waiting for something good.
i think costco and other retailer add a separate etf
Costco actually sells the phone off contract for 399.99
I got mine from Radio Shack for $450. Signed up for their credit card that gave me 10% off. Not the cheapest but still a pretty good price for this phone IMO.
I bought mine outright from T-Mobile, paid $250 up front but they let me finance the rest through my monthly bill. It's pretty awesome cause even with financing the other 250 bucks my cell phone bill is still $20 less than what it was with AT&T.

I was at the Costco in Texas and they had the dummy Sensation behind the counter. He said they would be carrying them but he did not know when they were going to get them in stock.
Thank you for the info! Definitely happy I got my phone from costco
What are the benefits of getting it from Costco as opposed to $100 cheaper from http://www.letstalk.com/htc-sensation-4g-t-mobile ? I'm thinking about going to costco tomorrow but want to make sure the benefits are worth the extra $100.
I bought 2 on Saturday at the Costco in Austin, TX (north location). Pulled the trigger when they were offering the same Father's Day data deal as the Tmo stores ($10/mo off). Paid $30 more per phone than other places ($180 vs $150), but felt the 90 day return/exchange policy was worth it considering the issues some people are having.
That said, the 2 we got are working perfect.
Costco also gives you a cheap holster, car charger, and a Plantronics Explorer 200 bluetooth headset for free.

Costco gives you 90 days to return the phone. They also provide a bluetooth earpiece along with a case and a car charger. Also, I have seen them give refunds if the price drops within the first 30 days of the phone.

My local Costco is showing this phone at $249 for an upgrade. Did you do new contracts for your price?
What's to stop me from just cancelling my line and starting a new account for a "new contract" price?

35$ at the shack . Happy so far .

its free(+tax) at costco, well at least in northern cali. plus if u break it in the first 90 days, they will still accept it as a full return
Just go to at&t,ask them to price match someone who has it cheaper. I bought a case, car charger, and got screen protectors free (buy 2 get 1 free). And they made the price of the phone free

Same price NO tax on AmazonWireless. Except, ironically, in Cali where I believe Amazon now charges tax.
How broken does it have to be for a Costco return...i.e. will they take a bricked phone? Will they also swap it out for a different model (Infuse?)
Nice find.

skyrocket price drop

Not sure if anyones noticed, but its 199 on the site. I paid 250 on 1/5 for it and renewed my contract. My question is what are the chances of seeing 50$ back since ive had it for 20 days? I swore i asked the in store sales guy about this scenario and he directed me to call att for a refund. called and the guy pretty much shut me down and said no. having a manager call me back tomorrow but has anyone been in this similar situation?
I called AT&T and was told I'd have to take it to store where they promptly credited my account $50. As long as you're within their 30-day price guaranty you shouldn't have any trouble. It sounds like you're well within the period.
I just bought mine today for $199

I also got mine from AT&T on January 5, and it was $150. The $200 it shows as now is a price increase. Maybe a regional inconsistency?
If you're within 30 days, you should be able to get a refund for the $50, but it's odd to me that you got charged $100 more than me when I got it at the same time as you.

If you have an unlimited data plan and you try to order from Amazon you can only upgrade to the new All Share BS. So if you want to keep your current plan and pay for the new data packages you can't use them. For example I have a 450 minute plan and all I needed to do was change data packages with VZW but Amazon couldn't do that.
Thanks for the heads up!
I got mine from radio Shack for $160 after tax but don't forget about the $30 upgrade charges so I really only saved $20 after taxes
