I have an HTC Sensation 4G . Please help guys ... I just dont know what to do .. I want to use MIUI bad !
The data structure might be incompatible with the ROM causing the crashes. Did you use Titanium to backup?

I didn't use titanium . But I used 4ext recovery to backup though . Tried clockworkmod recovery too but when I restore my data from recovery mode and the device boots up , and after sliding down to unlock , I tap the android to begin but it doesnt work and doesn't go further . what do I do
Earlier i was using another rom which is by mike 1986 android revolution . i tried titanium once too but when i switch from the rom to miui without restoring data , i need to reach to atleast the homescreen to restore it back ... i am just stuck
Hi All,
I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 P3100,recently I rooted it and flashed Ubuntu,it was successful but I was unhappy with what Ubuntu offers me right now.
Now,I want to switch back to the backup which I created when I was on stock.
Will this work
Factory reset --> Wipe Dalvik Cache --> Wipe Everything --> Restore to Stock ROM (Backup)
Everywhere I see here, they mention downloading the stock rom and then installing it with odin. Is it needed? Can't we just restore to a backup with wiping everything?
Please advise!!
Thanks in advance!!

Cool,Thanks for the reply.Today I couldn't wait for too long and I installed it through Odin.Next time When I install a custom ROM I would restore with a previous backup rather than downloading a ROM and installing it with Odin.

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Have you tried only restoring the boot and system partitions and then using Nandroid Manager to restore the data?

If you have custom recovery installed on your phone then backup boot partition on your external SD card. I recommend full nandroid backup before making any changes in your phone.
