[Q] [ROM]MiuiXtV2 optimize english pack text to speech problems

I am using this ROM wish not complaints but i do not have text to speech it keeps FCing when i try to load it. Please help i use my xt720 as my nav often.

Are you trying to install it? It need to be pushed to /system/app

How do I do that. I'm a noob. Trying to learn. You guys keep up the good work.

Place the zip in the /openrecovery/updates folder on your sdcard & boot into Open Recovery (hold in the volume up while turning on your phone) & apply the update.

I need help getting my recovery back

Ic ant root my phone because I have linux.... and I'm trying to get my stock recovery back but as it is I don't have a recoveery at all. So I need some advice on what I should do please help me or attach a stickie download link or apk to a app or zip that will help me...

Can you tell me how to downgrade the LG Escape?

Well u download that 10f file make sure its. Kdz and not a did file type cuz I downloaded one that unzipped into. Tot instead of kdz then u download LG flasher or something. Google it its simple man u just flash the kdz... are u on 10i?,

i cant find the flash tool last peice of the puzzle...
i cant find one that asks for dll and tot jusr kdz i seen it earlier but i dunnouggghhh

dear both, i am also stuck in v10i lol..but i found the way out..i am trying but i think its not going to work..TOT files can be flashed by a tool called "LGNPST" .. first you need to download lgnpst store & Lab version..then download lgnpst components & Generic support models..all these files are individaul .exe files..
in order to flash tot files you must have the specific dll & tot file (rom).
register your dll by typing :
cmd: regsrv32 (your_dll_file.dll) (i failed on this step..)
after that restart your pc, open lgnpst tool & Flash..
let me know if you got sucess..

[Q] Does Kdz Wipe the recovery

I wish to return to froyo, but the images provided in the thread with the zip files of froyo don't work. My computer's hard disk is fried some my nandroid backup is gone. Will Flashing with Kdz wipe my custom recovery?

Yes, it will erase the Recovery partition and then instal the recovery inside the kdz.

KDZ has high chances of bricking, you can try to find a froyo zip

I have the stock deodexed froyo zip which I made from a nandroid backup using dsixda kitchen

By the way is there any difference between the diffrent countries roms apart from the pre-installed bloatware? If so can you give an english European version otherwise i will take any other version as long as it has the option for english (Indian,Korean ..........)

Indian ROM has English as a language
Afaik there is not much difference between ROMs of different country
