hey guyz is there a way to backup backup all apps & configuration of settings and apps, such as keyboard settings and current theme as i want to upgrade a firmware but keep my phones settings and apps. thanks

I currently back up my apps using Titanium, but if I have all my apps organized into folders, is there a way to back up the specific layout as well between rom updates?

Only thing you can do is a nandroid update but that updates the rom as well. So u cant transfer a nandroid to a different rom
Are there anyway to backup my apps to their original location on the desktop so that I dont have to move all the apps everytime I update the firmware?

If you want to keep the layout of the launcher (home screen), then back up the data of the launcher (com.android.launcher).
I'm using Titanium Backup to create backups of my apps on my Galaxy S4 and I have a question about this process. In the preference menu, there are 2 options under backup settings:
-Normal apps (APK)
-Market Link
Now these are simple enable or disable, but I was wondering if it's somehow possible that titanium Backup will backup the Market link if available and if not, backup the APK instead. I would prefer the Normal apps option to be disabled for most of my apps, since it saves space, is faster and most of my apps are from the store and can easily be redownloaded after a system wipe. But I have a few apps that aren't in the store, so for these I need APK backups. Now I could do this manually, but where's the fun in that?

Hey, everytime I want to flash a new ROM or even new version of the same ROM,
I like to clear everything beforehand and factory reset my device.
The issue is everytime I do that I have to download all my apps again and configure the device all over again (apps & phone settings) .
I need some guide about backing up the maximum data possible (settings and applications) while still keeping the new flash as clean as possible.
I own Titanium paid version.

The fact that u have titanium backup pro makes it so much easier backup all user apps only (backing up system apps/data will cause problems with new ROM) then flash new ROM, reinstall titanium backup, and go to restore then you can choose apps or apps+data

As I am using a custom rom. I keep on doing a clean install of the new uodates that come up for the ROM.
I use titanium backup to restore all app data but I am looking for a way to restore my touchwiz data like screen layout shortcut icons and also restore Bixby data.
Anhone to do it?
