[Q] App for capturing a signature??? - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is anyone aware of an app that will allow me to capture a signature in a document. Keep in mind that i am coming from a tablet pc, and I would use it for paperwork a lot. I was hoping to do the same on the transformer. Any ideas??? Thanks for any help.

Hopefully someone can post back here with a specific app, but I imagine it will depend on what sort of docs you want to sign (Word doc, PDF, etc.).
As a workaround for any of those, you could use a drawing app to draw a signature, save it as an image, then insert that image into your document.

Annotatable form needed

I am looking for a very specific app to assist me with interviews. What I need is an app that can open a Word or Excel style template page. The page will have a list of questions and the space to fill in answers just like any normal paper application form.
Name:.........................................................................
Address :.....................................................................
..................................................................................
..................................................................................
Tel:................................................
Etc.
Now this bit is easy I have seen many app's that can do this, the next is the difficult bit,. I need the app to allow me to use a stylus to handwrite the answers in the fields. It does not need to recognise what I have written just save the page as I have annotated it with the handwritten answers. I can then open the template again and conduct the next interview.
Is there such an app out there? If not would anyone be interested in creating one? If this is a new idea then whoever wants it can use it. Thanks all.
Sounds like a good idea that can easily be accomplished using the Google App Inventor.
If I have a few spare cycles I'll see if I can throw it together.
Nice idea, would be a handy little app for many i'm sure.
Would be nice for it to have a "done and save" button so it auto went to the next form, and have an edit mode to edit the forms themselves (making it applicable for any survey, data collect use).
I'll have a look at the app maker today and see if a noob like me could knock something up (allthough its probably best left to those with experience).
Definately a good idea though ^^
EDIT: Oeer, think i may need to readup on the Appmaker for a week before i start ...Spose have to start somewhere. Consider me outof the dev picture for a mo ...allthough need any art/buttons i can help anytime xD

[Q] Is there a Document App that lets you insert Hand written scribbles directly?

Hey guys,
I am looking for an app that can let the user input hand-written scribbles directly into the document. (imagine: Signature) I have a side-line job that requires me to let the customer sign an invoice/receipt. So instead of printing the invoice, I will email the signed document to the customer (you know, so that we dun waste paper ).
Tried it on Polaris Office, Evernote and Handrite (can copy the scribbles but cant paste it anywhere).
Any response would be great!

This is on my big to do list also for some customer support. I should be starting next week research and testing so I'll post what I find.

a one-note for android would be superb. It allows for both text and pen input. I used it on my windows tablet for notes, was really great!

Watch the video - it does everything it says it does. I use it for signatures on contracts.... Well worth the $5 they are asking for it.

if you have a pdf open, all you need to do is long press on the page to get all annotation options. You may get a pop up asking if you would like to make a copy of the pdf you are annotating so the original is preserved.
I use it quite often and find it very useful.

[Q] Best option for form that needs to be saved as PDF?

I'm wanting to digitize a paper form. My users will be accessing this form via the web through an Android tablet (most likely a Galaxy Tab 7). I need the data to be saved in a file (PDF maybe?) either for storage on the device or email. I'm new to mobile development and in search of some suggestions on the best way to accomplish this. Thanks for the help!

Would it be a better idea to simply create a PDF form and use an app like Fill and Sign PDF Forms to accomplish this?
Any ideas?
Bump......

Can someone test this for me?

Just got a Transformer, very nice, but for some reason the Facebook app does not show the Timeline/Profile for myself or others. By this I mean the newish feature where you see a large image and underneath posts in chronological order for yourself and for friends.
Nor does the mobile site, only the full desktop site shows it.
Can someone with a TF300 who is with Facebook see if it is the same for them?

Creating business contracts?

I was looking to use my new tablet as a business tool.
I have contracts that we used prior to this saved as a psd and was curious if there was a way for me to port those over to my tablet but make them editable? Basically use a template and have the customers fill in the blanks with their information and then sign at the bottom of the page?
Any and all help is appreciated.

Hi I use a program called DocuSign INK to get customers to sign contracts out in the field. It does have a conversion program built in, which I use to convert documents to pdf and take them with me for them to sign. I believe you can do what your asking on docusign but Id recommend doing some research into it as they have recently upgraded the software and interface. It is not FREE though.
