Hdmi cable - Verizon Droid Charge

I'm wondering if anyone who is successfully using the hdmi out on their charge can post links to the exact cable you're using. I ordered a hdmi to micro adapter that isn't working for me even after kejar's fix (1.5). I have read it could be the type of hdmi cable I put the adapter on so I'm wanting to know what products are working for you guys

I bought the hdmi cable verizon had for the droid x. No problems without any fixes.
Gremlins are watching you...

I work for Best Buy Mobile and we sell a Rocketfish Micro HDMI to HDMI cable and I use it daily with my Charge, no issues at all.

Its more then likely the adapter causing the problem. I tried that on my X and no dice. So for the heck of it I tried it on my Charge when I got it and no dice either. That said when I had my X I bought an actual micro HMDI cable and it works fine on both devices now.

I used this one with my Evo & it works fine with the Charge as well. Less than $3 too.

I say this because i have used already 4 HTC cables and they all stopped working properly when that rubbery bit rips (example below).
The phone doesnt charge properly and the computer doesnt recognise the cable/phone.
I want a recomendation because i once used a nokia cable but that didnt work as it took forever to charge my phone.
Out of these ones which one will work properly: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=micro+usb
THANK YOU!

I use the blackberry one. I bought a few of them as they were in pound land - recommended
The Nokia cable shouldn't be slower as its basically the same
I haven't had any problems with the cables I've bought from monoprice.com for about a buck a piece... Every one of them charges just fine and works will on the computer as well.
I haven't found a cable which doesn't work. Any cable I throw at it works just fine .

If you buy anywhere else, you're paying too much.
I really like CMPLE cables. You can get them from Amazon and they're not too expensive either. http://www.amazon.com/Cmple-Micro-P...GXDK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355161774&sr=8-1

MHL HDMI adapter for Samsung S4

Anyone has any personal experience on this? I supposed that due to the 11 pin arrangement of the S4, most generic MHL HDMI adapters that you get from China wont work?
From what i've heard also from S3 forum, the official one from samsung also needs to be plugged in with an AC plug that can supply a good amount of current for the adapter to work?

I have on genuine samsung that I bought for my old S3 and you have to plug it to the charger indeed. And most forums and reviews said the old or generic cables wont work since samsung has changed completly. Dont know if meanwhile China was able to replicated, though. Aliexpress has some deals where the sellers say it works but I wouldnt trust them.
I just got a Official Samsung MHL HDMI Adapter from shopandroid and it came with an adapter for the SGS4. So I would presume (and I could be wrong here) that IF you just buy the 11 pin adapter it should work. Here is a Google search for the one I received today http://cdn-store.smartphoneexperts.com/store_images/product_images/accessories/large/11843.jpg
As you can see the little USB part is the adapter needed for the S4

As far as how it is working, it worked great and I was finally able to stream from my hard drive connected to my Asus router, into my phone and watch all the movies I have stored on it.

I have one of this model and it works perfectly on my TV and in my S4.
Most mhl adapters will work with an 11 to 5 pin adapter. However most mhl adapters other than Samsung's new official are mhl 1.0 which is 1080p24. Meaning at 1080p you'll only get a capped frame rate of 24; terrible for gaming.
The S4 has an 11pin which is 2.0 compatible and allows your phone to use a 2.0 adapter without your charging wire and enables the HDMI on your TV to charge the phone (only if your TV is mhl supportive - most new ones are) otherwise it won't charge your phone.
Mhl 2.0 allows 1080p60. Meaning a perfect 60 frames at 1080p. Ideal for gaming, especially if you're using a controller and planning to use your phone as a gaming console. Definitely buy Samsung's 2.0 mhl adapter.
Gets the link to the official 2.0 adapter on Samsung's website.

Amazon is the best deal I've found. Watch eBay, lots of 2.0 ripoffs that are really just a 1.0 adapter.

Strange Today I bought the samsung game pack with this docking and with my notes 4 works, has a bit of lag but it all works
I have one of those smart docks for Note 2. Hdmi works with audio. Usb ports work with mouse, keyboard, external hard drive. I didnt test 3.5mm sound out. It does very good job scaling from 2k to 1080p

has anyone tried usb type c to hdmi cable accessories?

im trying to connect note 7 to my head unit via hdmi.
and i found this little bad boy
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Type...66.html?spm=2114.13010208.99999999.261.jEk3Ct
would this cable work for galaxy note 7 ? if not, is there any cable that i can transfer to othr screen via hdmi? let me know thanks!
I bought this and no dice. Usb works but no hdmi. Also it won't charge and use USB at the same time. Luckily wireless charging still works.
No MHL on the note 7. Samsung dropped it in favor of miracast / screen cast. Luckily though a Chromecast will do the trick for 35$. Aside from that you could get a miracast dongle. Haven't used those yet so i cant speak on how well they work.

well i've been using smart view to connect note 7 via miracast, but it lags compare to wired connection. same with chromecast also. it connects fine, but lag is my main issue.
Weird.....im getting no lag. Movies play fine buffering from my phone using localcast app. Some MKV movies play a bit choppy but that's the codec I think.
It's a shame because 4x usb and hdmi on 1 adapter is awesome if it all worked. Also, the phone wont charge using it. I am able to wireless fast charge though.

You tried installing the displaylink software on your phone and trying again?
I think these docs are displaylink certified. I have one in my office i will give it a go
---------- Post added at 04:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:56 PM ----------
I just tried it on the dell branded usbc one i have spare in my office with the display like app installed it doesnt work for the display on the note7
It works on the older one with my note3 though
Again. Note 7 dropped MHL. There is no physical link from gpu to the USB port if I'm reading correctly. I wish it wasn't so.
Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
Wasn't HDMI or display port (not sure which) part of USB-c specs? If so, Note 7 usb-c port is out of spec, we need some software, or maybe it's HDCP, I don't think Display Port is certified for HDCP content, at least not by MS.
playing video and music is perfectly fine, but i need to connect this to my head unit and emulate touch as well from head unit. when note 7 is connected via smartview, theres about 1 second delay and its really annoying. so i was looking for a wired option instead of miracast....

Free Level Speaker - Charging your device

Hey all,
Did anyone else receive their free Level wireless speaker yet? Mine came today
And you know what? It's alright! I'll definitely use it whilst firing up the BBQ or doing the washing up.
But, how the hell do you charge another device from it? Using the supplied micro to micro USB cable and the USB micro to USB type C adaptor does nothing. Even using the micro to micro into another device still doesn't work.
Maybe I'm missing something obvious but there's nothing in the manual about it.
Cheers

I got mine yesterday too, and while it's a bit quiet, the fact you can take it to the pool or the shower, is a big plus. If they were £30 I might buy another to connect two haha.
I am not sure though that it's meant to charge other devices, I think those cables might be to charge the speaker?
According to the Samsung website it should
