This post will be aimed at different BOOT.IMG
The idea is to upload a few boot.img with different configurations and test the best so you feel your phone.
INSTALLATION
Installation is simple, these are boot from the Recovery installable ZIP.
So you only have to do this:
1 ° / Pass the ZIP to the SD
2 ° / Entering recovery mode.
3 ° / Choosing the zip and install
THERE ARE NO WIPES! WIPES IS NOT NECESSARY!! THERE ARE NO WIPES!

Does these convert all partitions? Then don't we need a "back to ext3". Cant there be problems with other or stock ROM's otherwise?

I'll try the 1.9, because some friends told me that's the best, without lag, absolutly... (I dont know... I try now...)

I just use the game 'fruit nibja'test these 3 boot, the v1.8 is the smoothest one

I've try the 1,9 verson with a froyo rom(king). When I turn on my phone it freeze on the LG's start up image. I've do a recovery with Rom manager but is the same. Please help me!

Hmm.. Sak i know the the people on that forum have tried it succesfully but i unziped the rar and all the files have adreno 200 written on them. Since u are way more exprienced than me just clarify and tell me if it wud be a problem?

actually the adreno 200 and 205 belong to the same "family"....that's just the name dont worry
if u see,ur correct drivers too are named the same way

and the result I got is almost the same with you vpupkin. The 3D Graphics performance drastically increases.
Sakindia, you MUST include this in your next build of Cranium ROM...super nice!!!

How to copy it? terminal says that cant copy cause file exists. If i want to delete previous drivers from /system/lib/egl terminal says that files are read only mode. I cant set chmods. Everything i doin by su. Halp!

my new performance tuning script, check it out!!
What's the concept?
-it boosts thread priority per process to gain extra performance.(hopefully)
How do i install?
-download the attachment
-find a way to launch it on any interactive terminal(you're on your own)
-type install
recommended applications:
download busybox from stericsonhere
download smanager here.
How to check if it works?
-type in whatever it says in the installer after you've installed.
-if it responds with error, then you've got problem.
it failed to run, what do i do now?(deeeebuuuuuugiiiiiiing)
-type in 'skeleton(or whatever you renamed it as) --verbose'
this will debug the program and show the result of what is going on.
if necessary, you can also try 'skeleton --bbpass --supass --verbose --renice 19'.
-paste the outcome here. i will help you.
How to run?
-run the program
-read the description.
hidden feature:
-'fork mediaserv 900 0.1 19'
will stop the stutters on audio.
-'randtest'
will cause havok to your device.

You need to flash only the first file (LazerDroid + MPEngine), the second file is only the MPEngine

antutu score (lazeroid 2.7 + engine8): 4480 (sd card write is slow as hell due to my movinand) database IO = 360 (has been better on other versions off lazeroid/vm lagtuner.
my setup: SGS 1 with slow nand, liveoc 120, ondemand, deep idle on, no big mem, 512 mb sd card read ahead, SAI on, BLN on

Hmm.. Ill take a look about the sdcard read ahead tweaks.
If you want to disable that read ahead tweak(lazerdroid script)
you should erase all the 'tune your settings here' lines. It will permanently disable every sdcard tweak the script has.
btw, my antutu score is much worse than yours
but who cares, the games are smoooooth

For all Android phones\tablets\PCs with Linux

MPEngine9 development has been finished. The current changes from the previous version are:
-removed minfree calculator(they dont work in some roms) replaced with MFKx2 multiplier.
-changed all the tweaks to non specified applet directory(includes lazerdroid)(a new fix for everything)
-alot stronger, best cache cleaner.
-theres more but i cant remember...
It still doesnt change the fact that i will release them in sunday.(if lucky i might be able to upload sooner than that)

Need help. When i install CWM_LazerDroid_2_7_MPEngine8_package.zip in recovery mode and i go then to system/etc/init.d/____ i dont have any new file.
There it must be system/etc/init.d/2LazerDroid2_7. Why i dont have this file?

optimized dalvik and bionic 4.4 for all aosp roms (not GE) UPDATED 15/03

UPDATE 15/03/2014 Now we have a cm11 dalvik optmized like the motox one,and no need to modify build.prop , so reboot in recovery,wipe cache and dalvik, install both bionic and cm11optmized dalvik and reboot, enjoy pure speed :laugh:, of course you need a 4.4.2 rom aosp and a snapdragon galaxy s4
UPDATE 15/03/2014: a good developer in nexus 5 forum made cm11 dalvik with opmitization from motox, so it is compatible with last aosp roms that have multicore speedup,no need to change build.prop anymore!

i think on GE is not needed because score of dalvik on antutu is good, it is like 2800 instead on aosp dalvik score is like 1700 and with optimized dalvik will go up to 2800

Is it applicable to all AOSP 4.4.2 ROM for any device or just to galaxy s4 ?

it is applicable to all qualcomm decives having kitkat aosp, but you can try also with other kitkat devices, but i dont know if it will boot

try antutu, you will get 1k more point on dalvik, and like 1500 more on total score

hmmmmm , it seems doesn't take effect on my i9300 , score is nearly same , but my previous test was on the clean system right after i flashed ROM , and second test is on the system filled with lots apps , it may affect on the score , i will try clean test tomorrow and get back to you.

For those who want, I made a All In One Install package ( copy all files + path build.prop by just settings the value).
BTW, using my ProBam 1.2.8 this mod only make my system go from Antutu 27000 to ... 26600.

mm it's strange because in all rom that i tried the score just go up at least of 1k try to wipe cache e dalvik

This mod will only help pure Android stock ROM.
any AOSP ROM built from CM or AOKP etc already have heaps of optimisations already so it's a waste of time.

ok so get a kernel, underclock you phone hard, then get 15k antutu score and try to play a game, that game will suck because of performance, and to know the performance of your phone instead of playing a game everytime, you have a benchmark (antutu), this is benchmark

ok so get a kernel, underclock you phone hard, then get 15k antutu score and try to play a game, that game will suck because of performance, and to know the performance of your phone instead of playing a game everytime, you have a benchmark (antutu), this is benchmark

[Q] How do i fix game lag issue in my rooted GT i8262 ?

yesterday i downloaded this game 'FRONTLINE COMMANDO 2' (size ~ 80 MB) on my phone but i am having problems running it. its not even HD with big file size , just 80 MB but its not running smoothly. it lags all the time.
my device - samsung galaxy core GT i8262 *rooted* (4.1.2)
is there any way (app/mod?) i can fix this ?

Try overclocking your phone or install seeder.

First of all play game in low graphic mode (if it have a option like that)
Use Greenify app to hibernate apps that keeps working in background and eating your ram
Install seeder and set it to extreme mode
Overclock your Phone using any cpu manager app
#You can also uninstall some bloatware apps using root uninstaller.

i am using greenify and have already removed most of the bloatwares .
i wasn't aware about overclocking so i Googled and found that i need to have custom kernel to overclock the cpu.
i have stock ROM and kernel so i dont know if can do it .
(would appreciate if anyone can paste a link of guide on overclocking in galaxy core devices)
i m going to try seeder for now ... will post the result later.

you can overclock your cpu using some apps..
that won't give the perfect results to you (bcoz of not having a custom kernel) but will increase processing power a bit..
It will heat up your phone too
give it a try..

No app will overclock the CPU if the kernel does not support overclocking. Do not talk if you don't know what you are talking about.

Exactly, stock ROMs never ever support overclocking. And there is still no custom rom/kernel for galaxy core that can do so.

i tried an app from play store which is used to overclock cpu.. [this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.danez.cpusaver ]
it didn't worked for me that well but it increase the power of my cpu a bit.. thats what i also told him in my above reply.
The change was not shown in app but while using that app i can see the difference in my phone. I tried playing asphalt 8 in my core but it lags so much but when i started using cpu manager app the game stopped lagging. Thats why i told him to try that app & i know all about the things that i am talking about

I think you just set your CPU frequency to a constant 1.2GHz.. or just changed the governor to performace.

Yes I set the frequency to a constant 1.2GHz and that increased my core's performance a *little_bit

So, at first i tried 'RAM Manager Pro' in 'Hard Gaming' mode and it did work but to a little extent.
then i tried 'Seeder 2.0' and it was much better. Though the game still lags a bit but its playable now and it has option to
enable/disable it whenever i want to play the game. I will continue using seeder for now.
