Ordered a captivate from letstalk.com for free

I guess i was one of the lucky folks that was able to get a free captivate from lets talk.com.... told my brother about it and he went to get one and they had upped the price to $99. It should be shipping today and arriving tomorrow. can't wait to get my hands on it and start playing with android

anyways, i called LetsTalk they said it was a system error, and people who got it are lucky but disadvantage is, you CANNOT keep your Unlimited Data plan you have to move to either the 200mb plan or 2gb plan which i think is BS

you got it to so did i but it takes a day or day n half for carrier approval then another day for device to get picked up by fedex or ups and then it comes the next day im getting mine on the 22nd

Mine is arriving sometime today. can't wait to go home from work and root it.
and as for downgrading (unlimited to 2gb)... not really. 90% of the time i have wi-fi and when i checked my data usage for the past 6 months it totaled ~15mb and averaged about 2 - 2.5mb a month and i do a lot of browsing and movie watching on my phone. so, i was thinking of downgrading to a cheaper plan anyway

That's horrible. I wouldn't have done that I've usually averaged between 4-5 GB a month with my old iPhone

Has Sprint given a firm date for the Nexus-S 4G ?

Does anyone know of a firm release date for the Sprint Nexus-S 4G ? Everything I read online is all over the board. I called Sprint stores near me, and they know nothing, one girl said it should be out this Summer, July/August she said Best Buy Mobile said maybe April 20th, this week. And some online sites say May 8th.

I wasz tlod yesterday when I reserved mine that it will be in the next 45 days. I know that is not a firm date but its better then nothing.

k thanks, so it's not due out until June then. For some reason I thought it was coming late April / early May.

I talked to a few best buy reps..Sunday I heard the 19th. Yesterday (I don't know if she slipped on telling me) I was told system shows in stock for tomorrow...so..another rep said no date yet....but...hopefully today...or I might just jump evo. I'm tired of Samsung never sticking to their word...pretty rediculous

Supposedly training at Sprint just started today, so hopefully it will be out in the next couple weeks. Hoping for asap of course...

Anyone care to open HTC Calendar and go to February 2011?
How many days do you have in February?
Does your 2011 start on Thursday instead of Saturday?
PS: Tapping on corresponding bad dates opens a different date actually.

Nup. Mine has 28 days starting on Tuesday 1st and New Years Day is a Saturday

2011 starts on 1.1 - Saturday
February - 28 days - starts on thu
All good

Weird... I'm on the stock 1.73 ROM (I have the XE).
I have 31 Days in Feb. 2011. Not only me, but a whole lot of users over at 4pda.ru.
What ROMs are you on?

mine says 31 days fro jan 2012 but my dates now are correct.

Samsung promotions

How long did it take some of you to get accepted and then recieve your stuff

I'm still waiting for my samsung tv 4 to 6 weeks i bought my note dec 2 .

I did the gifts of the season promo on December 17 and got accepted the same day and still haven't received anything.

I just checked I did it on 18 and nothing. I'll send them an email

I did the $200 rebate and football sweepstakes. After six weeks, I wrote prize logic and they say a few more weeks. Funny thing is the football sweepstakes is for a trip to California next week. Guess they will give winners either no notice or give winner a trip AFTER the Super Bowl.

Mine doesn't even give me an estimate, it just says give 2-3 weeks for review... I even called Samsung and they told me I got accepted but that it can also take 8-10 weeks to receive the package

Received my samsung 32inch tv today finally . Almost missed the guy dropping it off guess i can mount this tv in the kitchen didn't really need one as i have to many already but another tv won't hurt

At least we know they're shipping them! You're the first person I've heard of getting theirs. No notification? It just showed up?

The tv super lightweight it looks pretty damn good on the xbox1 all for buying a note 5 its a win win situation it just took about a month and a week
There's no way of tracking it i just got a paper from fed ex saying they tried to deliver it but no one was at home and it wasn't safe to leave .

Anyone else receive theirs? Starting to worry.

Mine says its in route doesn't give a time frame

Same here ...

I got my TV a couple of days ago. They did not send any notification that it was on its way. It just showed up on my doorstep.

I upgraded 2 phones on my account, mine and my gf's. Uploaded 2 receipts, and as of yesterday, received 2 TVs. Just to give you a time frame and just how odd it can be, we upgraded the last part of December, both were approved on the same night, Dec 22nd. A tv addressed to my gf showed up on Jan 29th, and one addressed to me showed up yesterday. I literally gave up on mine arriving, but it came. Just give it time, it will show. Helluva promo huh? Nice little TVs!
