My zip code had one coming today and one coming tomorrow, but the tracker went down so I have no idea if today's was delivered or if I still have hope.

I did not recieve any kind of emails. They just delivered the package without any notification. Christmas came early this year!! .
It's actually a funny story. I am staying at my parent'h house right now, babysitting their dogs. My gf told me that a package came for me at our apartment when I was not really expecting one. I was really caught off guard.

I've read reports of people getting emailed that they've been chosen as a tester, but not emailed any shipping information. The laptop just appears on the doorstep.

Well, I can confirm the doorstep part. According to my gf, it was just sitting right outside our apartment door. No way to treat such a treasure.....
I am planning on uploading a video to Youtube showing off some functionality. I will post the link on this thread when it is done.

I think I signed up about 2 months ago. It says you can sign up until Dec. 21st. They are supposedly giving 60,000 of them away, and have only shipped 13,000. Good luck!

I'm so disappointed...there were two coming to my zip code yesterday and today but neither one was for me. I have a relatively small town of non-tech savvy people too so I was hoping I would get one but it looks like both have already been delivered

2 were delivered to my town so far.. I pray there's still hope for me since there's still a rumored 45k left.

this is a neat netbook. i love the 8-10 hour battery life but honestly, i can get more done efficiently on my Captivate running Assonance 5.0 w/ JL3 modem and it's much faster.
going to put the cr-48 in developer mode over the holidays and install a dual boot of ubuntu to make it a really efficient and useful machine.

I signed up several weeks ago, but no love yet. 2 have been delivered to my zip code but not to me. I did get some GTV love, I got my Revue yesterday so at least I have something to keep me busy between sacrificing chickens to the gods in hope of a CR-48.

I've only had my Revue for a night and I am loving it so far. Once I can get this thing rooted to get around the network blocks it will kick some serious a$$.

Anyone get their G2x yet?

I ordered mine Friday morning online. I choose standard shipping cause it said 4/18 delivery. Well today it's not here and I called UPS and they don't even have it yet.
So even if it was shipped out today it could be later this week. Wtf good is ordering something 5days early if they don't ship it out until day 4?

I'm in the same boat as you and now it looks like I won't see my g2x until either the 24 or 26.. Sucks but that's life..

That's weird. I ordered mine late Friday night and will be here tomorrow. My tracking info has been available since this morning.

Mine just says they received the info but not picked up yet. They should have been picked up this morning at least. UPS usually makes two trips for packages. AM and PM.

I remember the same thing happening on a past phone, (forget which). So thats why I specifically didnt pre order it. Plus the pre-orders for this would also include a weekend so I knew darn right things would be wack.
Heres to picking them up in the stores and knowing its a good one before I leave.

Tmobile is saying that it is pre-order only and they won't ship until 4/20. Aside from making the supervisor go on to the website and verify that no where does it say pre-order. It says Web Exclusive. He said that there is an error and they aren't allowed to sell them until the 20th as per their agreement with LG.
I just cancelled my order. I'd rather walk into a store Wednesday morning and pick it up and be done with it.
The bad thing is I sold my N1 today and is expected to be shipped out tomorrow morning. So cheers to being screwed and having to go without a phone for a few days.

Just called t mobile and they say they shipped it out. Called ups and they say they never received it. Got tracking number and it says scheduled on 4/19. Guess I'm f:cked to.

Ugh. Looks like something is up with my order (I paid for express shipping) as well. I got an email/text from T-Mo saying the phone was shipped and going to be delivered on the 19th, but now on the website it says the 20th...and according to UPS it hasn't even shown up at their facility yet AND it's shipping ground.

I called and the girl was giving me a bunch of BS. She said I couldn't cancel it because it was already shipped... then turned around and said I didn't get it because it was a pre-order and wouldn't ship until the 20th.
I had to speak with a supervisor that said some were accidentally shipped early but their contract with LG states it won't be available until the 20th.

Now my fedex tracking info says it is in KY and expected to deliver tomorrow. I wonder since they cancelled it... if I'll get it for free?

Rooted within 5 minutes using superoneclick.
Now trying to figure out what kernel will work to be able to use BLN. And of course ROMs and Themes would be good to know about too that are compatible with this phone.

Reading all of this I am glad I decided to wait and pick one up on Wednesday. The store next to my office has 8 in stock and two have my name on them.

Ordered mine with overnight shipping. Arrived this morning. Very nice phone. It's real nice being able to mirror with hdmi and not need a cradle or anything.

Ummm I don't think O2x kernels and roms will work with our G2x. Didn't they say that it would render the phone useless because they have different partition tables?

What time did yours update? Mine still hasn't.

I ordered mine through customer retention on Friday around noon, and I got express shipping. Once I got a tracking number later on in the day, it said that UPS was ready to ship it once T-Mobile sent it, and I also noticed that the shipping was changed to 2nd day air. It left Kentucky this morning, and according to the tracking it should be here tomorrow, which would be within the 2-3 business days. I they often upgrade the shipping for some reason? I've visited a couple t-mobiles to play with it in store, it's just made me want it more

You guys will be happy with this phone, I've been playing with it for a week now...no lags and I'm getting 6-8mbps in my area. I like it.

call ups... i did give them your tracking number... mine wasnt showing up on their website either till i called the and asked..
if they say they dont have the package yet then call tmobile!
hope it comes today! (ups delivers till 9pm in some areas so hold tight and make some phone calls!)

I did. T-mobile has no clue whats going on. The agent told me that I should receive it by the 25th. Then said because I got the txt I should receive it by the end of the day. So basically anytime between now and the 25th. :-(
As for UPS, did you talk to a live operator? I just said my tracking number into the phone.

I don't know why you couldn't just wait until Wednesday and walk into a store to buy one. All this headache just to maybe get it one day ahead of time is pointless.

Yea, I haven't been under contract with T-Mobile for 2 years and when I called them over the weekend to discuss this phone, they told me they would knock $100 off the price if I did a upgrade to extend my contact 2 years. I just can't stand the fact of being locked into any service provider for 2 years especially one that might not even exist in 1 year. I just upgrade my phone every 6 months by selling my old ones on EBAY. If you do it like this then you only end up paying $200 for new devices and never have to sign another contract.

Got mine at noon. Just opened it but I still don't know how to feel about it. Feels...different. I had N1 NS and now G2x but there hasn't been any WOW moments yet...hopefully when i boot up NFS or Dungeon Defenders i'll be wowed, not putting my NS up for sale quite yet...

im sorry you dont seem to like it... trust me a rom will make all your "ehh" moments go away... remember its a "PURE" android phone..... kinda bland but still got alot of horsepower
my turbo AWD talon is completely STOCK on the out side but the motor is built to high heaven pushing close to 450 Whp..... same thing with this phone! SLEEPER is the term.... i like the stock sleeper look vs a **** built honda with a 500 dollar body kit and a gook flute.........( best comparison i can make atm lol)

I ordered Friday at 10am online. Showed Monday delivery. Standard shipping.
Monday came and no UPS update. I called Tmobile and they said it was shipped Saturday. I called UPS and they said nothing was picked up. I called back to Tmo and they said it wasn't shipped because the phone wasn't due out until Wednesday and those were only pre-orders.
After I cancelled my online order over the phone, 20 minutes later UPS updated and showed it was scheduled for Tuesday delivery. I have it now.
UPS said that they don't pickup Ground packages until the next business day. So if anyone ordered with standard ground, it wasn't shipped out until last night. I live 1 hour away from where it was shipped hence why it might have been a speedy delivery.
I have it now and its awesome. I came from an N1. Finally Maps is working fully and 3D games are finally enjoyable.
I'd say if you don't have it by now, call and cancel the order and pick one up tomorrow at a store.

I just got my phone today and I have 1 bar of signal strength in a fairly populated city where I normally have good coverage. I've tried everything, even the wifi application, with a 50 MB download, all to no avail. Is there a way to force this thing to ride on AT&T? TMO's signal just isn't cutting it.

Daydream View Preorder Promo Codes

Anybody get their promo code yet? Google VR Services is now uploaded to the Play Store, so they have to be coming soon. I've already seen an article where somebody was lucky enough to receive their free Daydream View headset. How about you guys?

Yeah same situation here, looks like they're going to push this right to four weeks.

Remember the terms said "while supplies last." Plot twist, they only had 10 to give away for free.

I haven't figured out how to run apps I downloaded from the play store yet. The play store in daydream only loads a black screen and the vr apps I download from playstore outside of daydream don't show up in daydream library

Getting My Gear VR Tomorrow, Who Else Got It?

Just got confirmation From UPS Saying my Gear VR Will be here tomorrow.... I Live in Canada did not get Confirmation Email..... Just seen many people worried they were not getting there's so i thought I would post to show that I got mine to Show that they Are sending them, seems about as fast as my Gear Fit 2 I got with my Note 7..... Shouldn't be more than 2 weeks for the rest of you Hopefullt. Have you Guys Got your Headset yet or still waiting?

I bought the $99 bundle and purchased my S8+ direct from Samsung. Got a shipping email on 4/21 for the bundle, but it included the tracking number for my phone (which was already delivered at that point). Still haven't gotten the package, and have no way of tracking where it is. So emailed Samsung, expecting to hear back in 24 hours, but no response yet. Guess I'm going to have to rev up Netflix and chill on hold for an hour or so tomorrow...

Everybody seemed worried about not getting it right away..... when I got My Note 7 it came about a week or so after release day .... so when it showed online 6 to 8 weeks I didn't believe it and waited patiently but it seems everyone is complaining on not getting there's.... just wait and it will eventually come!

Got an email late last night.. Said $99 bundle will be here friday.

I'm not completely worried about not getting it, except for the fact that I continually see people who registered after me who keep getting tracking numbers and I haven't heard a peep. Unless they can block fedex or ups from showing me labels have been created, they haven't even made a label yet.
after the mess of people trying to pay for the $99 bundle (of which I paid AND the charges cleared...not pending...cleared) it's starting to get a little worrisome to see so many people ahead of me.
I don't care to wait, dont care if it takes 6 weeks, but somehow being way after others who registered after me is weird.
