CM7 nightlies - T-Mobile LG G2x

When recording a video and playing it back it doesn't play back the way it was recorded. If u hold the phone straight it plays back the video sideways and when u turn it it flips the video the other way. No matter which way u turn it u can't view the video the right way. Does anyone know why it does this or how to fix it?

[Q] Moboplayer and resume ?

Hi.
I'm using moboplayer to watch videos. It works great.
When I quit the player for a while (gtalk, etc), then go back on the player, I would like it to auto-resume the video. Now, I have to click on play, which is annoying.
Is it possible to do that?
Just tried it and it doesn't do that for me either anymore after the 3.2 custom rom.
so it resumes automatically for you ?
Wow, I wish it DIDN'T autoresume for me. There is a bug, at least on my unit, where it will PERMANENTLY remember the resume point even if I go back and finish watching the video. I have to delete the MediaFile everyday so that it forgets all the resume points.
So, yes, for me it always will autoresume.
Weird. Does and always did the opposite for me, ie no auto resume.

Recording horizontally?

I've seen this discussed but I can't find it, when I record with the phone held horizontally the saved video is tiny as if I was recording vertically but the video is sideways when I turn my phone is there anyway to fix this?

[Q] Sideways video playback

I dont usually post questions and look up the answer myself. But I cant figure this one out. Is there a reason why playing a video I recorded in landscape mode auto rotates and plays sideways? I know I can turn off auto rotate but thats a hassel just to view one video. It should know to play the video the right way. The other big thing is that if I upload the video to my Google+ storage and play it on there, it plays sideways also. It's really frustrating. However, if I transfer the video to my computer and play it on there, it plays the right way. Anyone else experience this? Anyone have any fixes?

Cm11 video play back

Regardless of ROM and media player all videos are very choppy when playing.
Is this a known bug? I have searched and found nothing.
Does anyone else have this issue?
i am using CM11, my video playback is ok... But i got another problem about... when I set the screen to Auto Rotate, then watch facebook built in video, the phone crash and automatically reboot when I rotate it... /.\

Try Record Now!. It does exactly what you want it to do, works great (I tested it myself), and is free - that's always a plus, right?
EDIT - Just found Secret Video Recorder Free. I haven't tested it, but you might want to try this one, as well.
Post thank? :fingers-crossed:
