Regardless of ROM and media player all videos are very choppy when playing.
Is this a known bug? I have searched and found nothing.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Hi.
I'm using moboplayer to watch videos. It works great.
When I quit the player for a while (gtalk, etc), then go back on the player, I would like it to auto-resume the video. Now, I have to click on play, which is annoying.
Is it possible to do that?
Just tried it and it doesn't do that for me either anymore after the 3.2 custom rom.
so it resumes automatically for you ?
Wow, I wish it DIDN'T autoresume for me. There is a bug, at least on my unit, where it will PERMANENTLY remember the resume point even if I go back and finish watching the video. I have to delete the MediaFile everyday so that it forgets all the resume points.
So, yes, for me it always will autoresume.
Weird. Does and always did the opposite for me, ie no auto resume.

nope, no auto resume for me either.
I am trying to watch Youtube in my car and because the speakers on the Nexus 5 are not the greatest, I am connecting it to my car CD player via Bluetooth
The problem is when I do that, android believes I am connecting my phone to a TV so it darkens my phone screen and also shows a small icon in the middle of the screen(screenshot attached)
Is there any way to avoid this and just have the screen at normal brightness and also the small icon to not show?
Same problem here too !!
Yeah, same problem here, too. Had it show up with a pair of Bluetooth headphones.
its the youtube app not the phone. If you install an old version of youtube it will work fine.

Can we all please report this as a bug on the youtube app and hopefully they will do something on the next update?
lock the orientation of the phone (Lanscape) then start youtube.
i find that if you turn the screen it will have this problem while watching the video
That's the Chromecast icon in the middle of the screen and yes its annoying, youtube needs to fix and update that.

does anyone have weird issues with Google Music and Bluetooth audio? I have my phone paired with my cars BT system and sometimes, even though I'm not playing any BT audio, I'll take my phone out of sleep and the lock screen will show an album cover from my Google music.. even though no music is playing over BT.. any ideas?
Thanks, just got my Nexus and I'm loving it so far

Same thing happens to me. It's because Play Music doesn't actually shut down when you close it , but rather stays running in the background somehow, even though it's listed as inactive on app manager. To close it completely, you have to kill it.
So for the last couple of months, seemingly randomly, my music players and even YouTube just start refusing to play anything until a reboot. When I press the play button the media will play for a half second and sound will come out but it instantly pauses itself again. Does anyone else have this issue?

Is anyone else experiencing videos not playing or freezing sometimes in apps like Facebook?
Yep I'm having the same issue

Me too?! I thought it was the app. Could it be the phone? ?
Yeah I literally have to reboot the phone then the videos will play
It's only on my OnePlus 7 pro cause my S10 and iPhone plays the videos with no issues
I have disable video enhancer on display settings and seems to have fix the issue

I'm having no issues playing videos. Maybe wipe the cache of the phone and see if that helps.

Yes disabling video enhancer seems to have done the trick, thanks
Glad someone posted this. Serious issue with Facebook and other videos get stuck caching at some point. Will try turning off the Video enhancer....thanks for sharing
