UPDATE to ooVoo - Android Apps and Games

There's a update to ooVoo in the market place and video chat finally works now. I was able to video chat a friend from phone to pc and from phone to phone. There's only one problem. My ffc (front facing camera) is sideways. The rear camera works fine. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? BTW i'm running CM 7.1 RC1 with Trinity15 G2x CM7 trcu

I think is is designed to be used in landscape.
I tend to use ooVoo when I am on the road... has worked well for Phone-to-PC videochat.

My camera doen't works

Hello
I'm a fan of your site, I have a nexus that operates under one froyo 2.2. SETCPU I installed it also works very well but the camera does not work, every time I try to record a video it restart the phone. But the side photo runs smoothly. What to do?
I heard that they were still compiling and fixing certian drivers for Froyo builds, maybe they haven't completed the Video drivers yet (?)

[Q] Qik not working after the ota update no audio???????

After I did the ota update it seems that qik started messing up. There is no audio I can see them just can't hear them. They can see and hear me. And when I use fring its not using my front camara its using my back camara do when I'm in a fring video call the only they the other person can see is whatever the main camara is picking up. Please someone help me!!!!!!!! I'd anyone else experiencing these same issues
I'm in the same situation. The other person would have to either talk really loud or put there mouth close to the phone for me to hear them. My cousin has the same phone and his is working great.
myTouch4G (Glacier)
Guys, What is your Qik version? I'd download the latest FOTA ( ver 1.17.531.2 ) and Qik ( " T-Mobile Video Chat by Qik " apps from market , just search " Qik " you will find it ).
My Qik version is 0.04.30.29 and it is running fine with my GF's MT4G ^^
I don't know what version I have. I think its the one that came on the phone. I'm going to try to download the one from the market.
I have the latest updates, etc., and I"m having the same problem. Actually there is audio, but its BARELY there................

[Q] qik or fring on the inspire.

didn't know were to post this. but since its about our phone i might as well ask.
ive been trying to use qik or fring, both can use back cameras for video calls but it seems not to work properly like it disconnects easliy.does any one else use these programs and having the same problems have any solutions?
I can use Qik. No issues.

[FYI] Inverted Video on Qik on GB/KF1

This is a fairly known issue for other samsung devices with gingerbread, but just so everyone is aware it's a QIK specific issue as far as I can tell.
Inverted video (upside down) when you use the default QIK video chat app.
i'm running bionix and i downloaded the qik video chat app from the market. I try to video chat with another sgs4g running completely stock, but it always disconnects regardless of signal strength or wifi. i tried connecting to another vibrant 4g and i get the same problem. it seems to be an issue with my phone because the other 2 can video chat fine. any known issues/fixes for a problem like this? thank!

No OoVoo Since Installing Cyanogen 2.3.7

I was using OoVoo on my Froyo HTC Thunderbolt with zero problems. Since getting the cojones to root and then switch OS to Cyanogen 2.3.7 Cyanogen Mod 7.1.1 Build GRJ90, I can't use the video feature in OoVoo. It won't give me the option to make a video call. No audio in the audio call mode. I can still text in OoVoo but that's about it. The video call button doesn't work. If I receive a video call, it says "receiving video" but it never completes the circuit! OoVoo claims they have network-updated Gingerbread Thunderbolts at their offices, three of them to be exact, and have zero problems using OoVoo on them.
Anyone have a similar problem? Or does anyone have a solution? Thanks . . .
Same problem
I have g2x cyanogenmod 7.1.0.1 / 2.3.7 and no video either. Want to switch from skype because picture is upsidedown.
