Haha, but yeah - You won't get the unlock code from them if you have a past due balance.

If you don't mind paying $25 you can go to http://www.htcimeiunlock.com/htc-sensation-4g-unlock
Someone on this forum has done it in the past; prob search it out to see their experience.
How are u in the Caribbean if u can't pay ur bill?

Maybe he didn't pay it because he spent it on vacation or maybe it's not our business.

It was either pay the bill or go on vac and enjoy cold beer and hot woman. Which one would u choose? I'm in Dominican republic right. I called and paided half the bill. Would they unlock then?

As glhturbo had pointed out in another thread, cellunlock.net does it for $20/phone but with this code crackb50 you get 50% off. Worked great for my T-Mobile Sensation. Enjoy! =)
I'll just wait til I get home how much does an unlock sensation go for on ebay

Got my unlock code from TMobile, only took 24hrs. Is there a way to enter the code without using a non TMobile sim card? I know you could do this with G2x but not sure about the Sensation.

I too interested whether the need for unlock T-Mobile SIM card
Why would you need to stop unlock the phone without a job-tmo card? Besides being able to use it on another companies network (at which point you will have another sim card) what else does unlocking do for you?

Yeah if you bought one flat out, like off contract and everything. That wouldn't be a problem. And I suppose if you got caught trying to report a lost phone to get another one, the worst they can do is charge you for the phone?

Xda doesn't support fraud in anyway shape or form and asking for advice on how to do said action is against XDA forum rules. One and only warning.

yeah you can unlock it
here is the guide for it
PS: you need to have root on the device to unlock it
Anyways as the other person said your phone can be tracked even if you unlock the phone..as normally tracking is done base on IMEI number which cannot be changed
Also don't forget to press THANKS if you find my post helpful
I think it stolen as in from insurance claim someone didn't send in Idk I didn't buy it lol

Tell him to file a claim with eBay. They side with the buyer like 99.999% of the time.
So long fellow sensation lovers... Unfortunately I dropped my phone and shattered the screen.. when I called the insurance company the told me they don't support sensations but gave me a choice of a galaxy s2 or a HTC amaze...

Don't get the Amaze! I bought it for my girlfriend since it had basically the same hardware as the Sensation, and I loved my Sensation. Completely difficult to do any kind of hacking or flashing, and there is NO development over in their dev threads next to some high school themers.
I guess I can't complain because I haven't/can't contribute to the development. But just a fair warning.

How long will it take to get the insurance replacement s2? How much is it costing you?
How did you shatter the screen? Was the phone dropped from a specific height?

that's strange.. im on t-mobile US as well and they sent me a sensation to cover for my mytouch 4g a few weeks ago.. they told me i could choose between mytouch 4g slide or sensation so of course i went with the sensation hope you enjoy your new device
Because of T-mobile's enternal smartness, the phone they sent me when i sent in my own phone, was the new piece of junk LG Mytouch, which doesnt even have a XDA fourm page. but that means i cant develop for this phone any longer.
Edit: I plan on talking with Tmobile to see if a I can get a better phone or b I can some how get another glacier
I plan on pulling out the I have been with you for 16 years and I will leave card
Wow. The universe just took a big steaming one on your head. Suuuucks.

Okay so I'm 18 have a minimum wage job "yay my life is so great" blah. Minimum wage here is $7.25 btw. But I feel like taking on some responsibility and leaving my parents cellphone plan (AT&T) and going to T-Mobile. Good idea or no? Sprint is pointless in my area because it barely gets any service here. And Verizon. Just no. Any sort of input is gladly taken into consideration and thanks for all the help! ;*<3

One way to find out is to go into your local cellphone provider establishment and ask how far do reception go. Be sure to ask about their packages there a plan for anyone.

Well from what I know t-mobile in my area gets 3g and at&t gets 4g. But At&t just screws you over. I compared and t-mobile is like $60 a month and at&t is $80 with same exact service package. Just trying to figure out if it's a good idea

Tmo has the best deal, $70/mo contract free with unlimited everything.. Go GSM for sure for the option of nexus just in case
I'll trade you jobs. They pay me $9/hr but treat their employees like microorganisms

Forget all of them contract plans. Straight Talk is way cheaper( 43.22 a month), offer 4g service, att coverage, no contract, and semi-unlimited everything( talk, text, and data.) THe only drawback is that they seem to have temporarily discontinued att sim cards thus its kind of hard to find them. You probably can find one in a phone or on ebay or something.

You pay for the phone in your contract. Buy a phone on swappa or some other site. The money you save off contract makes up for the up front purchase of the phone.

+1 going from $70 to $40 is $30 and then times that by 12 you save about $360 a year

Check out Wal-Mart Family Mobile. I used them for a while. Was very happy. $45 a month for unlimited everything (throttle data after 2GB). Runs on the t-mobile network. Only concern was lack of short code and call forwarding support. Other than that, I just put my account on automatic payment and never had to contact them again after the initial setup. You pay at the end of the month (it's not prepay), there are no contracts, no credit checks, and you can even pay your bill in person at any Wal-Mart.
