Hi, I am a novice in android.But I am a longtime educated user of computers. Recently I bought a Motorola Atrix 4G mobile with 1.2.6 Rom. I already flashed it several times. Now I am on GingerBlur 4.5, i.e. ATT 4.5.91. Still I don't understand so many things like,
what is the function of a radio image file.
Can anybody teach me ? Thanks in advance....

Since a few weeks I've got a I-mate Jam and I'm a member on this forum.
Since the beginning I'm wondering how to do some thinks.
I've looked around the forum, tried the search function but could find awnsers for some questions.
The question I have is about updateting.
How can I see my current version on my I-mate?
What are the different roms?
ROM version?
radio version?
Protocol version?
ExtRom?
What are all these and what do they do?
Is there manual about how to update you I-mate jam?
What is the newest version for the I-mate jam?

KoBolD, I'm new too, and just got a I-Mate JAM about 2 weeks ago, and I've been reading these forums for the last 3-4 weeks. This is my first post. Most of the information you are requesting is in the FAQ on this site. I'm only responding to you because I hate to see someone new ignored, I like the enthusiasm on these forums, and maybe one day you'll be cooking ROMs for us.

ftp://xda:[email protected] and you can access the FTP goto the Magician directory and there are the newest ROMs. Good luck.

ok currently i'm taking a course of study in sg. Mobile & wireless computing. Can anyone guide me along how to make application of my own before my school touch the topic and im a first year for my study.Any interesting topic that quite relevent to my course of study.

i've read that window mobile 6.1 is not possible to upgrade 6.5.

only way to get the org rom back is to flash the device with the org rom again
how you flash anything is described in a txt in the rom zip

well i have purchased an HTC P3400i like 1 year back
now after seeing pawan's rom i was just very much delighted and wanted to get it on my mobile
pawan's ROM for HTC P3400i gene -

You will find a bunch of different roms for the Gene. Also, if you haven't done so yet, look at the stickies to learn how to unlock your device. You have to do it right, else you will brick the device. Do not flash a rom until you have unlocked it!!!!

I have a ZTE N61 phone, and I want to migrate it to Android. My first experience was by running a version of Haret with a ROM from another phone. As i expected, it went wrong.

I rushed for one problem over days... but maybe anybody can help me on it here.
I need Hungarian T9 on my newly freshed SGT to XXJME ROM. In original XWJJ3 there was a good working one but don't know how to deodex that and use in current system as stock keyboard...
